Friday, February 7, 2014 Episode 12,271 - Kate is elegantly seated at the town square cafe, on her phone with investigator Ortiz. She purrs this is what they have waited for! Lucas appears and wonders about her P.I. and Jordan. Kate smugly states it is all about to come to a head! Lucas wants to know all about it, then decides he would rather not know! She closes her computer and asks about his plans for this night. He sighs he turned down Cheryl, who invited him on a double date with Rafe and Jordan, due to the fact that they are supposed to have an employer/employee relationship. Kate pushes him to date the girl he likes. The world is too loveless! Lucas wonders what Kate the sudden romantic wants. She gushes well there is one tiny favor ... - Rafe catches texting Jordan by the dark town gate with his cane and pulls her to him. They kiss like a couple of teenagers. He roguishly reminds her of their date tonight. She gulps she asked Cheryl to come along. Rafe drawls it is great they are mending fences and assumes she must have given up on the notion that Kate was out to get her. Jordan stares at her guy in the black leather jacket. - At the apartment, Gabi is nervously rummaging through the clean laundry, anxious to find the baby's scarf. She wants to take her to Caroline and forget about ...Will finishes NICK! The girl in the pink sweater is falling to pieces and proceeds to recount all her misdeeds. She cannot read how much Nick the notorious really remembers. Will muses Kate could be right and Mr. Greetings might be the only who knows anything. That does not make her feel better. Will the writer points out they do not have all the facts about who knows what. Gabi screams it is a nightmare and she also screams that Nick and his calm waiting are driving her insane. She screams some more when Will urges her to be calm. He suggests they take Arianna to see Caroline together. Gabi sighs he has plans with Sonny and assures him she will be fine. Will pleasantly tells her they can talk later and saunters off to the club. - Sonny the business owner looks up from his paperwork at the bar, only to find Nick smiling smugly. He grimaces, pours him the glass of beer he requested, and ignores his questions about business and profit. Dangerous music plays as Sonny Kiriakis solemnly steps away. He gets back to his paperwork and Nick suggests he does not much like having him at his establishment. He questions if it is because of how he showed up at the christening. Sonny snaps he understood the explanation before about Nick wanting to see Hope. Nick assures him he wants to change things. Sonny advises him to stop waiting for people to wonder what his next move will be, because he might discover that no one notices or even cares! He sarcastically adds to enjoy his beer and turns away. Nick makes a strange face and drinks up. - At the monastery, Tim the monk talks miracles. Eric gasps he is a believer but this is tough stuff. Tim talks faith. - On the phone with his boss, Ricardo wants to know if he should off the whole group. Back at the mansion, the phoenix wants to know who is there before deciding. Inside the cabin, Dan asks the now drugged Chyka how he met Kristen DiMera as Nicole films with her phone. Chyka confesses he met Kristen through his benefactor - Stefano DiMera! Meanwhile, Stefano is still on the phone, cursing to this thug to tell him who is there. Back inside, Chyka confirms Kristen had asked for his assistance on a project. Outside on the phone, Ricardo admits to Stefano that it appears Chyka is tied up and being interrogated. That is all the phoenix needs. He growls the answers to the questions cannot leave that cabin - none of them! Ricardo understands the order loud and clear. - Kate wishes Lucas a fun double date but asks him to give her a warning call when Jordan and Rafe are on their way home. Lucas is suspicious. Before he can probe, Cheryl appears and Kate insists they go on their double date together. Once alone at her table, the diva in the red plaid jacket calls her investigator Ortiz to meet her and bring that thing they discussed. She is ready to take action tonight! - Jordan changes the subject and kisses Rafe passionately. He says wow and asks what that was for. She calls him irresistible with his cane. He drawls wait until he loses it and they stroll off together arm in arm. - Eric stands by the tranquil monastery window and is confused. Tim explains he was referring to his faith in what God wants. - Nicole is frantically filming and also demands to know about the priest. Dan thinks she should not interfere. The sound of her voice has agitated Chyka the captive, who cries out they would kill him! Nicole suggests another injection. Dan sits and urges Chyka to concentrate on him and his questions. They all require a response. The drugged DiMera doctor agrees and Dan insists he only focus on HIS words. What exactly did Kristen pay him to do? To invent a specific drug cocktail for a specific purpose. What exactly was it? A potion ... including one sedative for submission, a drug for memory suppression, and a strong aphrodisiac to erase any resistance to sexual desire. Dan asks who they said it was for. Chyka stares him squarely in the eye and does not mince words. "Father Eric Brady!" - Stefano reminds Ricardo what he has to do and there is no need to call him until the deed is done! Ricardo whips out his gun. He is on the move! - Tim points out Eric the priest has been seeing this from his own egoistic perspective that includes arrogance and narrowmindedness towards God. He did not consider God's will and God's needs regarding the path he will be shown. - Will arrives and asks about the saloon. Sonny kisses him, grinning it has been quite quiet. He now updates him on Nick's visit, the game he seems to be playing. He trusts him even less than before! Enter cool Rafe and his lady Jordan. Will and Sonny are glad to see them. Rafe mentions Cheryl. Jordan thinks Lucas will be coming with her too. Will is curious, especially when Rafe drawls he can see Lucas liiiiiiiikes Cheryl. - Cheryl and Lucas stop outside the Brady pub and Lucas explains his point of view. They should keep their dating and work separate. She smiles and agrees. Lucas is relieved. She teases him about her efficient ways and they go on their way to meet the other half of their date. - Rafe presents Jordan with a pair of opening game tickets to Wrigley. He teases there will be a baseball test to follow. She giggles she will surely ace it and they kiss. Cheryl arrives with Lucas and he introduces her to son Will and his boyfriend Sonny. She would love to see his pictures of Arianna and admires her as Will happily obliges. Rafe nods at Lucas, who grins. The guys are pretty good friends these days. So far. - Kate the burglar sneaks up to Jordan's door and whips out a key with a slim manicured hand. She pouts, her red lips determined, and glances around to make sure no one is around. She then gets in with ease and smirks Jordan left the lights on. All the better! - Back at the club, Rafe, Lucas Jordan, and Cheryl enjoy their drinks and chatter. Lucas looks at the coveted tickets and laughs they are bleacher seats so he should take them cos Rafe cannot get up there with his cane. Rafe boasts he will be rid of the cane soon. Jordan gushes he has made progress and he kisses her. Lucas suddenly remembers Kate's unusual request and frowns. - Kate is searching in all Jordan's tidy drawers, sensing something in them will reveal the truth she has been hiding. - Chyka calmly confirms Eric was the target. Daniel asks if he has any documents or formulas to show his work and its effects. But of course! Dan crouches down and asks where those records are. All of a sudden, Ricardo bursts in with his big gun pointed at the group. The wise guy shouts nobody moooooooooves! Nicole gasps and slips the iphone in her back pocket. Dan turns his head, still crouching - Kate holds the black box she has finally found in her hands and says Aha! She tries to pick the lock but it is not so easy. - Club owner Sonny lets the double daters know he is going to be leaving with Will soon so another server will attend to their table. Lucas seeks a word with his son and steps away. Much to Jordan's dismay, she gets a text that her next patient is three hours early. At the bar, Lucas hopes all is well with Will. Will wonders why the concern. Lucas is referring to Nick. He laments he had assumed the guy was gone for good! Will stares. - As luck would have it, Gabi and baby run into none other than Nick at the pub. He was there to see Caroline too but found out she went to bed early. He talks to Ari and breathes she is beautiful. He asks to hold her. Gabi blinks, at a loss for words. - Eric is praying alone with intensity. He remembers being a priest and whispers Nicole's name. Then he sighs and stands up. - Nicole screams at the thug to get out. Dan covers her. Ricardo the henchman has two guns now and demands to know what Chyka told them. Nicole throws something as a diversion and Dan attacks with a war cry. They struggle for the gun and Dan gets knocked away, landing on the floor. Ricardo leers one down two to go! Nicole worriedly touches Dan's unconscious head and looks up at the evil one. - Gabi recoils. Nick now states he was out of line and he is sorry. He was just remembering the last time he held baby Ari. It was the night he ... He sighs. The night ... Gabi blinks again and remembers the last time they kissed in bed. He apologizes again. She gasps he caught her off guard. He promises it will not happen again and starts to leave. She says wait and agrees he may hold the baby for a moment. Nick takes Ari in his arms. - Lucas scoffs to Will that Nick is unbelievable. He reminds his son he has nothing on him anymore and asks him to let him know if that one bothers him, Gabi, or anyone again. He wants to know first this time. Will uncomfortably agrees. - Cheryl heads to the ladies room in her pink dress and teases Rafe and Jordan can say goodbye now. The happy couple kiss. Jordan laughingly leaves in her mini. Rafe grins after her and remains in his chair. - Kate tries the box again. Success! She spies the fake ID cards inside and says Oh My God! It is just as she suspected! Now she starts to take pictures with her phone. - Eric is alone in the dark monastery chapel as he remembers eating ice cream with Nicole once upon a time, giggling, having good times at the pub ... He then flashes back to kissing her as a young man at the park. Friends and lovers. He comes back to reality with a sigh. "Thy will be done!" He hangs his holy tormented head. - Nicole whimpers over Dan and Ricardo barks to get up against the wall. Chyka mutters gibberish about one and two. Nicole begs the bad man to let them go. He warns he is here to shut this down! Nicole wants him to hear her out cos surely he will side with them. He leers he will shut her up but in the blink of an eye, Dan wakes up, reaches for a poker from the hot fireplace, and whacks him. They keep fighting as Nicole grabs a small shovel, hoping for an opening ... - Will and Sonny are walking through the park as Will complains about the stress of keeping papa Lucas in the dark regarding Nick. Sonny smoothly suggests they not talk about Nick or anything at all and they kiss. Meanwhile, back at the pub, Nick is still holding the baby and admits he has been processing things and talked a lot to his new bff. He thinks he and Gabi are similar. They are both passionate people who at times lose control and make mistakes. He muses he has made mistakes and she has too. However, there is always a way to start over with a clean slate. One just has to want it and try. He asks if he is making sense to her. Gabi stares but softens when he says how beautiful Ari is. In fact, the past is the past. All that matters is to make the baby's future perfect. She admits she feels that way. Nick now whispers he wants the same. Is that not what hope is all about? Gabi uncertainly meets his gaze. He hands the baby back and thanks her for trusting him. It was a good first step. Gabi stares. Nick wishes them both a good night and calmly departs. Gabi's pretty dark eyes are filled with fear and confusion. - Diva Kate cannot resist telling Lucas on the phone that she has found something major. He informs her Jordan left though he knows not when. Kate now hears Jordan outside the door, calling out to Arthur that she is home. She panics and scrambles to put the box back. - Eric holds his rosary tight. He asks Mary Mother of God to pray for all the sinners. Meanwhile the drama continues at the cabin. Dan and Ricardo are in close hand-to-hand combat and struggle for the gun as Nicole watches helplessly. They fall onto the couch next to Chyka and the barrel of the gun gets closer to Dan's face. He is hanging onto said gun with all his might. BANG! Then there is silence. END |
