But Paulina is not drinking, alludes to her checkup but would rather not say more ... EJ toasts to Nicole in front of the DiMera fireplace and recites a cute poem. They kiss, toast again, and decide to take their private party upstairs before Holly comes home ... As the bistro crowd celebrates, Brady sighs and feels alone. Outside Tate rushes to foaming unconscious Holly. Here comes a policewoman who orders him to stop. Meantime back at the mansion EJ and Nicole are in the bedroom getting frisky ... Lady cop asks Tate what happened. Holly is hardly breathing and Tate denies knowing what she ingested. The cop calls for an ambulance. She tells Holly to breathe. Tate grabs and hides Holly's fallen bag of pills ... Rafe and Harris are having a busy night. Rafe is exasperated about the overdoses and now gets a call about a 17 year old female ... - Brady interrupts Teresa and Alex's midnight kiss and asks Teresa to give MIA Tate a lift home since he is leaving. He suddenly gets a desperate text from his son at the loading dock and races past the revelers ... EJ snuggles with dahling in bed. She marvels how much Marlena has helped her lessen the pain and appreciate her blessings aka Holly and EJ. He believes this will be a banner year and they kiss again ... Stefan has the floor at the bistro. He thanks the guests and gushes about a random young pair who just became engaged. Police sirens are heard. Ava updates him on Holly overdosing ... Outside Brady approaches Tate, who is upset Holly has not regained consciousness The paramedics and police are tending to the teen. Tate now shows Brady the bag of pills but the perceptive policewoman sees and demands he hand them over ... Abe gets Paulina tea with honey and asks about her symptoms. She gives him the whole story about the hypothyroidism and the pills she needs to take daily. Abe is relieved. She makes light of the biopsy regarding a little neck lump, how the results are expected tomorrow. She believes she could beat cancer. Abe agrees and pats her hand ... Brady motions for Tate to do as ordered. Policewoman demands his ID. Here comes Rafe with Harris. Rafe is handed the pills and demands to know how Tate got them. Harris insists they need to know. Tate states they are Holly's. Rafe is horrified to hear it ... EJ and Nicole snuggle. She wants to wait up for Holly. Ring ring! Tis Rafe. He is sorry to say that Holly seems to have overdosed on drugs. Nicole wants to hear she is alright. She is luckily alive and in an ambulance. Nicole gasps and tells EJ to take her to the hospital now ... - Stefan orders the crowd back to the bistro as Harris grills Ava, who denies noticing drugs among the guests. Stefan gets testy. Harris demands he answer whether he noticed any drugs anywhere anytime. He denies it as does Ava. Harris orders them to call him if they notice anything related to drugs including distributing and transporting ... Brady and anxious Tate ask the nurse at the hospital about Holly. Tate calls himself her boyfriend. Brady explains to Tate what in trauma means and asks his son to give him the whole story. He refused to take any pills with her so Holly stormed off. He later found her out back shaking and getting sick and a cop shone a light on his face. Upset Nicole comes in and takes off to trauma when she hears that is where her child is. Holly seems to be flatlining, Tripp trying to revive her when Nicole arrives. Alas the desperate mom must wait outside the room ... The guests are gone and Stefan and Ava are stressed. He feels for Holly but there is no way out with Clyde ... Back at the hospital Tripp emerges and informs upset Nicole there were complications. Holly is now comatose ... Teresa comes running to Tate and asks after Holly. Tate is upset and lashes out at his mother. Alex mutters to Teresa her son could be using. She gets mad cos she knows her son and suggests he leave. Tis a family matter. Alex departs. Teresa tries to console her son. Then she wonders whether he took anything. Here comes Commiss Rafe who would like to ask minor Tate some questions. He starts to read his rights. Brady insists his son is innocent. Tripp interrupts and summons Rafe for a word. Tate stares numbly into space ... - Abe insists Paulina is strong enough to weather any storm. She praises Chanel for being her rock and now asks Abe to leave. His face falls. Alas she would rather not have his pity. Abe insists he does not feel sorry for her. She gets upset about her husband looking at her like a stranger and it is not enough so please leave. Abe refuses to let the woman he loves not have him by her side and makes her happy as heck when he says I LOVE YOU and kisses her ... Alas Ava has been unable to reach Tripp or get an update on Holly. Stefan reminds her they know nothing. Ring ring! Tis Clyyyyyyyyyyde calling ... Brady approaches Rafe and Tripp and hears the c word. Coma. Tripp cannot say more to concerned Brady since he is not family. He heads back to trauma.. Rafe wants to talk to Tate about what Holly took. Brady agrees. Rafe also informs relieved Teresa and Tate that Holly is alive. Now he asks Tate to give him the whole story. They were dancing and then she showed him her pills. Tate confirms they were her pills but EJ arrives and leers like hell ... Holly is sleeping as the ventilator makes noise. Nicole sits at her side and weeps mommy is here. She kisses her hand and sadly sings hush little baby ... Then she sobs her heart out ... STAY TUNED! Luv Cathy |
