Abe enjoys Paulina's cooking and here comes Leo, who steals the boss' bacon. He is here on B and S biz. He babbles he wants to bring Hattie back as Charlemagne but Abe says no way ... At the station JJ greets Shawn on this his first day back on the force. Shawn welcomes his new partner back ... Jada reads another text from Rafe and tries to call cos she knows something is off. EJ does not accept the call. He is carrying a breakfast tray en route to Rafe and glares when Arnold emerges from the secret door ... Leo talks up the scene he already wrote about Charlemagne. Tis wild. He assures Abe that Hattie will behave and is on good terms with Bonnie again. Paulina and Abe are still mad about the cupcakes. Leo blames the imposter Lady Whistleblower ... Gabi comes down for breakfast and teases she has heard all about Kerry. Javi gives her the money clip JJ forgot and throws in a book of wedding caterers to pass on to Jada ... - JJ is sincerely sorry about Shawn and Belle breaking up. They discuss her being new D.A. as EJ finally got fired ... EJ admits that for a split second he feared the real Rafe had escaped. He blasts Arnold for coming back. He wanted him out of Salem ... Jada leaves Rafe a sweet message and sighs ... Javi believes he and Kerry are in a good place but then gets a notification of the latest nasty anti-Leo Whistleblowing post. He feels sorry for Leo but not Kerry ... Leo boasts he brought all the storylines together beautifully until Lady Whistleblower struck again. He is mad as hell and wants to sue if he discovers her identity. Matter of fact Abe has an update on that situation ... Leopard jacket Gabi goes to the station to give JJ the money clip he forgot and teases him. He flirts he could have done it intentionally just so he could see her again ... Arnold hates his motel. EJ is exasperated about holding Rafe downstairs. If Jada found out she would toss him in the slammer ... Jada summons Shawn and shares her worry about awol Rafe. Shawn suggests calling Steve since Rafe was on a presumably on a Black Patch case. Jada does just that ... - Abe explains that he and Kate have Stephanie on the case and she reached out to Chad, who traced Lady W to a bank in Rochester. Leo intends to follow the hot lead to Mrs. Rochester. Meanwhile Kerry is showing Javi his Rochester sweatshirt. When Javi mentions feeling sorry for Leo, Kerry gets mad and jealous ... Gabi has something for JJ to pass on to Jada from Javi. Tis about her wedding plans ... Jada gasps when she gets off her call with unseen unheard Steve cos he did not put Rafe on any case! Now she is more worried than ever. Shawn asks for the whole story so she tells him how EJ brought up Rafe's call from Black Patch. Translation - EJ is now a person of interest ... Meanwhile Arnold refuses to leave Salem. EJ exclaims he will be mistaken for Rafe. Arnold does not mind that and is arrogant enough to believe he could pull it off ... - Javi realizes Kerry is actually jealous of his and Leo's friendship. Kerry wishes he would hate him but lovable Javi hates no one. Kerry gives him a possessive kiss ... Paulina makes light of the lead but Leo's head is spinning. Rafe can demand the name of the account holder in Rochester! Alas Abe cannot spare the cash to do that but Paulina offers to put up the money ... Gabi is surprised when Shawn emerges and explains Jada is not at the station right now ... Meanwhile back at the mansion Arnold suggests he could throw Jada off the trail by being Rafe. Ding dong! EJ orders him to take Rafe his breakfast. He now opens the door to Jada and refuses to talk to her since he was fired. She walks in anyway and confronts him for claiming Rafe was on a case. As per Steve it was not true. EJ is now a cornered rat ... Javi and Kerry get hot and heavy in the kitchen. Javi pulls away and wants to take things slow since he was hurt by Leo. Kerry claims all he wants is them to be happy and agrees to go at his pace. Now he needs to go to work for there is much to do. But he leaves his Rochester sweatshirt behind so he will remember him. Javi puts it on ... - Leo wants to talk to Rafe about Rochester and tries to state Hattie's case one more time. Abe agrees to speak with Kate about rehiring her. Leo goes on his giddy way. Abe realizes he took his bacon ... Gabi and JJ agree to see one another later and he watches her wiggle away. JJ wonders about Jada's case. Shawn admits it involves Gabi's brother Rafe ... Back at DiMera mansion Jada accuses EJ of knowing Rafe's whereabouts. The other night he was acting strange. He is also the only one who seems to know about Steve sending Rafe on a case. EJ sarcastically suggests Rafe got cold feet. Jada stands her ground and orders him to start talking cos she knows he is hiding something ... Abe calls unseen unheard diva Kate about Leo's desire to bring back Hattie. She yells and he suggests they discuss later. He adds they are about to expose the dastardly Lady Whistleblower too ... Javi is munching bacon when Leo shows up at the door seeking Rafe ... JJ hears from Shawn that Steve never sent Rafe on a case as EJ claimed. Jada is confronting the dastardly DiMera as they speak ... At the mansion Jada senses EJ went after Rafe cos she got EJ's job. He refuses to talk and suggests she scram cos she has no warrant.
