Eric opens the door to early John and Marlena whilst Sloan sips more red wine and forces a smile, feeling unworthy ... Ava is going over the receipts at the Bistro. Stefan stashed the latest shipment in the back but he hates the situation ... Teresa, Alex and Brady have been summoned to the station. Justin brings in Tate and a happy family reunion ensures. For Tate, Teresa and Brady that is. Justin tells the gang the judge approved Tate heading to a juvenile rehab for the time being. Teresa and Brady are grateful but Brady worries EJ will re-revoke ... Sloshed Sloan cannot convince John and Marlena to join her in wine. Eric brings out the cheese and Humus plate and asks John and Marlena about their new year. John and Marlena are still concerned for Holly. Sloan insists they will protect their son and slurs she would even lie. Eric bites his lip ... - Well dressed Stefan and Ava realize a lot of their patrons returned despite what went down. They anticipate a quiet bistro evening. Here comes cowboy Harris with his team, ready for a raid. Ava believes he is being unfair but he has a warrant. Harris orders the crowd to stay as they search the area including the kitchen and the loading dock. Ave wonders what to do. Stefan thinks they are sunk ... Teresa and Brady refuse to let EJ pull a fast one with Tate this time. Justin suggests they get him to the juvi rehab stat. Tate is unhappy about the rehab he does not need and insists he is innocent. Teresa argues at least he will be safe. Jutin explains Tate must leave on a police transport tonight ... - Marlena wonders what Sloan means. She slurs she would tell a little lie for her kid. Eric suggests she have something to eat but Sloan keeps drinking and putting her designer foot in her mouth. Marlena acts understanding. Eric suggests they start dinner and John agrees. Sloan boasts about Eric starting his photography biz again. She tries to tell a joke and then another, then notes Marlena is not laughing. She calls her intimidating. Marlena seconds Eric's idea that the girl lie down. Sloan, however, is out of control. Eric urges her to lie down. She cries she cannot miss dinner and is sorry. Then she sobs on Eric's shoulder. John and Marlena watch the strange scene ... Back at the bistro Ava accuses Harris of being unfair. Harris knows something is going on and tells Ava to give him the truth. Stefan suggests he get his goons and go before he sues the hell out of him ... Justin explains the bus will take Tate to the rehab facility under police escort. Teresa gets upset when she hears no one can have contact with him for the first month but Tate does not seem to mind. Mother and son share a heartfelt hug and an I love you ... Marlena and John give Sloan and Eric a moment. The baby fusses. Marlena gives the girl a glass of water. Sloan keeps calling her intimidating. Jude wails and John suggests he and Marlena take the little lad for a walk ... As they all step away Sloan sneaks more wine ... - Marlena and John admire the sleeping baby as they stroll at the square. Marlena suddenly notices Jude has a smile just like Eric when he was little. They discuss Sloan's bad first impression and sincerely hope she does not have a drinking problem ... Sloan is dancing in her silk pajamas and admits to Eric she was worried his folks would not like her, hence the drinks. The room starts to spin and she races to the bathroom ... Harris' lady cop whispers to the boss, who admits to Ava and Stefan that no drugs were discovered on the premises. He apologizes. Ava warns he has to pay ... Alex has coffee for himself and Brady while they wait at the station. Alex believes Justin is the best guy to help Tate. Teresa has packed some of her son's belongings. Justin gets an email from EJ. Tate looks worried ... but EJ accepts the order of the judge. The gang are relieved and Alex apologizes for ever doubting Justin, who is always here. Father and clueless son embrace. Brady calls John and Marlena with the juvi transfer news. John and Marlena intend to come say goodbye ... - Harris believes his hunch was right but Ava is not impressed. Stefan growls to get out and never come back. After he leaves Ava apologizes to the remaining guests and announces the drinks are on the house. Stefan gets a call from unseen unheard Clyde and quietly updates Ava on the news of the planned raid getting to said Clyde, who had someone remove the product just in time ... Eric has put Sloan to bed and she apologizes for ruining the evening. She slurs she has done way worse things. She weeps and worries he would be mad if she admitted what she had done. Knock knock. Tis John and Marlena bringing the sleeping baby back. They must head to the station to bid Tate goodbye. Sloan is now fast asleep. Eric assures his mother he will be alright. She smiles she knows. Once they have gone, he solemnly stares at sleeping Sloan ... - Eric is later giving the baby his bottle. He sighs mommy had a hard night but daddy will always be here. Sloan whispers in her sleep she is sorry ... Ava is astounded someone moved the product so fast. Stefan now gets a collect call from Gabi in Statesville and steps away. Ava receives an anonymous summons to the loading dock pronto ... John and Marlena bid Tate goodbye. The silver fox promises they will come see him when permitted. Teresa tells her son to be strong and Brady gives him a guy hug. He knows he will be home soon. Tate asks his folks to keep him in the loop about Holly and now leaves with Justin. Alex hugs Teresa as Brady fights back the tears ... Ava steps out alone to the cold and empty loading dock. Tis dark but someone arrives. Tis Harris, who gives her a very tragic telling stare ...
