Sarah stammers to Xander she has to check on sleeping Victoria and slips into the other room. The great Scot remembers welcoming her home. Sarah returns since baby is sleeping. Steve wants to hear how Everett and Steph met as the gang enjoy their dinner. Everett and Steph explain it was in a coffee shop line and Steph had the last muffin. He offered her fifty for it but she suggested they spilt it. Coincidentally she was doing the PR for a nonprofit he happened to be covering. Stefan blasts Harris for what he did to the biz and hauls Ava back to the bistro ... Everett politely explains Steph wants to be friends for now. Steve suspects he wants more. Everett respects her decision. Tripp changes the subject with his and Wendy's announcement ... Sarah lets Xander sit in the only chair. He has a pulled shoulder. She massages the sore shoulder as they cutely plan who will do what. She insists on the separate bathrooms and he boasts he now puts the toilet seat down. When she suggests they get to bed he grabs her and they passionately long kiss ... - Back in the bistro, Ava calls Stefan a neanderthal for hauling her inside like that. He accuses her of getting too close to Harris. She assures him she does not want to get busted. Harris the wannabe hero steps in and accuses Stefan of assaulting Ava. He implores her to come with him and promises to protect her. Stefan grabs her in a passionate kiss to throw him off ... Stephanie and Everett seem interested in the app scavenger hunt Tripp and Wendy state one can play outside. Steph suggests the paper sponsor such an activity. Tripp suggests Valentine's Day. Steve looks forward to a treasure hunt with Sweetness and wonders what treasures they should hide for the charity event. He looks at all the lists once they are ready. He teases Kayla, who giggles she will make another one. Steph will discuss the deets with the mayor. Alas Tripp must depart as he has an early morning shift. Steve shows Wendy the leftovers to choose from. Kayla updates Tripp on Paulina getting her test results in the morning. Meanwhile Steve praises Wendy for staying in Salem for Tripp. He is clearly a TRENDY fan ... - Everett suggests he and Steph team up for their treasure hunt. She decides to tell Steve not to let them know where the treasures are ... to make it more fun ... Sarah steps back and suggests to Xander they stop working. They will do right by Victoria and shake on it. They wish one another a good night with longing in their eyes and then he heads to his room. Sarah steps out ... Harris accuses Stefan of cheating on his imprisoned spouse. Ava plays along and pretends they are involved. Harris deduces they deserve one another and hopes he does not have to see Ava behind bars. He walks out and Ava blasts Stefan for the bogus kiss. He strongly suggests she steer clear of the cop cos he could destroy them both! Then he storms out.
