Maggie is miffed Steve considers her clueless ... The silver fox is sorry. The blonde is not bothered and he gives her a morning kiss. She notes he had a restless night again and wonders ... Clyde lies about how reformed he is and his talk of surviving in the slammer sounds sinister. He boasts about his expanding enterprise and suggests he could employ Harris ... Teresa blames the drugs for the fact that she kissed Brady. Brady agrees as she assures Alex he is the one that she wants (at least as long as he owns half the Kiriakis empire) ... - Miffed Maggie suggests Steve was not always ethical but changed like Victor did. He should believe Konstantin could change cos he did. Steve warns her the lowlife has an agenda and it is her! Maggie scoffs and and suggests Steve mind his own biz. He implores her to be cautious and warns he will not back off. Then he leaves ... John fibs he has just being thinking of Tate and Brady. Marlena senses more. She loves him and he loves his pretty lady. He kisses her, she blushes and then heads to work after teasing he needs to comb his hair. John chuckles but once alone he gets intense again ... Harris plays along with Clyde's hypothetical offer. Clyde muses he might not qualify ... Teresa says sorry to both guys and blames being high, which happened because of what happened to Tate. Brady assures her she will recover. She agrees to attend daily meetings. Alex watches with worry ... - Smug Konstantin sits on a bench with Maggie and profusely thanks her. She sighs overprotective Steve is not going to stop the badgering of her new bff. The redhead suggests Salem is not the best place for him to be but he dismisses the idea of departing ... Marlena is happy to see Eric taking Jude for a walk in the wintery park. He apologizes for the other night and explains Sloan was nervous hence the drink. They agree to chat over coffee ... He has been playing games and cackles he could never trust him, then tells the fool to head back to Salem. Harris blows up and warns he will shut him down. John complains about the bad feelings and strange nightmares that disappear as quickly as they appear. His mind is warning him. Steve complains about clashing with Konstantin again … Back on the bench, Konstantin continues to act concerned about Maggie dear. He would rather stay in Salem and asks her to keep looking out for him. She agrees, sees Brady enter the pub and goes to have a word. She will meet Konstantin back at the mansion … At the square café Eric assures Marlena that was the only time he ever saw Sloan sloshed … Steve admits to John he went at it with Konstantin until his protector Maggie showed up. He knows he is a gold digger. The silver fox suggests a different approach. Steve is intrigued … until John suggests they drop the matter … Alex has no intention of ending his relationship with Teresa and wants her to be alright. United they stand. She repeats the kiss was random. Alex could sense she needed Brady and she admits she might not have made it through without him … Clyde ruffles Harris’ feathers when he calls what happened to Lucas a damn shame and admits the attack sent a message to the outside. He now wants Harris to hear his message … Maggie and Brady talk Teresa at the pub. Brady fears she could relapse and wonders whether he should move her into John and Marlena’s place. The redhead disagrees … Eric updates impressed mama Marlena on his photography business attracting business again. The extra money is good given things got lean after Xmas. Marlena offers to babysit anytime … John warns Steve that antagonizing Maggie about clever Konstantin will backfire. He suggests they step back and let the guy hang himself. Steve grudgingly agrees, suggests his P.I. partner rests and gets going … Alex woefully wonders whether Teresa has feelings for Brady. Nothing romantic though they share a common concern for son Tate. The kiss was an impulsive mistake but she can see Alex is still worried ... - Clyde suggests Harris focus elsewhere. Harris boasts he is a loan wolf who has no family, nothing to lose. Clyde taunts there must be one special someone he would hate to see hurt. Harris meets his glare ... He hisses if he harms anyone he cares about, it will be his last action alive. Clyde coos he enjoyed the conversation. Harris did warn him and saunters out. Clyde cackles ... Maggie insists Brady not risk his own sobriety and suggests she escort Teresa to a meeting and get her a sponsor. If need be she will also get Roman and Kayla involved. Brady agrees and is appreciative ... Teresa holds hands with Alex and insists she and Brady only co-parent Tate. However, if he cannot trust her she can go back to her mom in California ... Konstantin rummages through his old secret book and pulls out a red card connected to the pawn. He had no idea he would see him again ... Disheveled John is trying to focus and make some kind of connection. He glances at a red coffee table book ... Meanwhile Steve downs a shot at the pub and curses the old man, wondering whether it could really be after all this time ... Konstantin smirks at the trump card in his hand.
