They were only together cos of what went down with Alex ... At the pub Kate ends a Body and Soul chaotic call. Joy overhears and approaches. Kate updates her on Bonnie's near death tumble ... Abe comes to see Kayla, asking after Bonnie. The prognosis is good but she cannot return to work. Abe is relieved but sighs all else is lost ... Jada ends a call with Shawn, whom she asks to look into the Rachel case. She will be busy looking into the Bonnie's tumble that was no accident. Meanwhile a fiend draws a red X across Bonnie's headshot ... Baffled Alex asks Steph to elaborate. She sighs she lied when she said she did not mind ending their affair. Leo has no idea what went down there. So he agrees. But first they must talk ... Abe complains to Kayla that Leo is not around and she wishes she could help. About that ... Alex woefully admits he wanted more. Steph brings up Joy and he notes they were not really dating. But they did spend that night together ... - Joy feels for Bonnie but blames Chanel for quitting. Then there would have not been the need to tape an exit scene. Kate does not finger point ... Kerry has been hauled to Jada's office and wonders. She updates him on the B and S elevator shaft fall. He suggests she speak to production not him. She suspects Bonnie was lured to the scene of the crime ... Leo hopes they did not rush last night. Javi teases this was not their first time together. Leo hopes this means something. Indeed it does. Javi gushes he was always the one and he missed him like crazy. Now Kerry is gone from the picture ... Jada states the facts including what Javi told her about Kerry trolling Leo and putting spyware on his computer. That gave him direct access to Bonnie's number and the B and S schedule! Cocky Kerry insists his only issue was with Leo. Jada wonders. He states he hit back at Leo for humiliating him. But he has nothing against Bonnie. Jada is still suspicious so cocky Kerry hands over his phone and denies having a burner. He also denies sending poisoned cupcakes and cockily stands. Jada stands too and snaps she decides when they are done ... - Abe officially asks Kayla to replace Bonnie as Cassandra and reminds her she acted every time she went undercover with Steve. He needs to save the day stat and save the show. Kind-hearted Kayla sighs ... Joy updates Kate on Chanel's smack. It was only Johnny who cheated and besides she is now with Alex for real. She notes Abe has no issue with them seeing one another. Kate warns the ingenue that when she and Alex break up ... But Joy believes they will not and praises her great guy soap hunk ... Alex makes light of his one night with Joy and explains he only slept with that girl since he thought Steph was with Phil. He stops and sighs they both work on B and S so they cannot be together. Steph suggests she quit so she can be with her guy and pulls him to a chair to talk. He knows she loves that job. She misses him more though ... - Kate tells Joy to protect her heart. Joy decides to head to the hospital to be with Alex ... Shirtless Javi puts away the breakfast dishes and enjoys his coffee as Leo babbles about B and S. Happy days are here again ... Jada argues it was a crime for Kerry to break into Leo's place. Javi even heard him admit as much. Kerry taunts she has nothing sufficient to charge him with. Jada snaps not to leave town as he goes on his smug sarcastic way ... Abe has convinced Kayla to temporarily come on board and promises to work around her schedule. Meantime he will search for a recast ... Alex is moved and sighs he misses Steph too. But what if they cannot make it. She quips what if they can ... Alas Joy arrives, hugs him and asks him to take her to Bonnie. He does just that. Steph sighs again ... Kerry interrupts Leo and Javi's laughs in the kitchen when he opens the door. Leo shouts not to shoot like in his dream. Kerry scoffs. He came to give Javi back his key and wants his cool sweatshirt back too ... - Jada has just called in a background check on Kerry. Back at Rafe's place Javi steps away to get Kerry his shirt. Leo is surprised he actually gave him a key. After Kerry gets his shirt he pauses at the door and mentions Bonnie's bad break. Leo wonders. Exit Kerry. Javi and Leo realize something must have happened ... Abe meets Kate at the pub with both good and bad news. The bad news is Bonnie's need for a temp replacement. Kate sighs and asks about the good news. He snagged the perfect temp recast. Kayla ... Kayla leaves Steve a message to call her soon and then spies sad Steph sitting alone ... Joy has just seen Bonnie and is sympathetic. Bonnie and Alex are the best folks and she admits she cannot imagine getting though the tough times without him. Then she throws her arms around him ... Leo is upset to read what happened to Bonnie and even more upset about his ruined story ... Steph is stunned to hear Kayla will temporarily replace Bonnie on set. Her mom suggests it will be great to work with her daughter. Steph anxiously agrees ... - Jada is back on a call with Justin. Alas she had to let Kerry go as he has no record. If they find any dirt on him, however, they will haul him back. She vows to find whoever made Bonnie fall ... Meanwhile the real perp gets the next victim's picture. Alex.
