The tormented hero will be home soon and says no need to pick him up ... Alex joins Teresa at home and she wonders what took him so long, why he was really at the hospital. He met with shrink Marlena and hears Teresa had to talk to Kayla today ... Everett admits to Steph he spotted her with her friends at the pub ... and now needs to have a candid conversation ... Kate is exasperated Lucas is nowhere as she and Roman approach the pub. She is shocked when she sees someone inside. Tis Harris. Kate demands he find missing Lucas ... Teresa challenges Alex to a match of truth or dare ... Everett hyperventilates about the risk he is about to take. Steph gets worried. He praises her for her work and respects her but hates the boundaries she made. Tis too tough being friends only ... Steve catches up with John, surprised by his late night stroll. John senses doc got worried and summoned him. Steve does not deny it. He recalls their old undercover days when they were not always on the same side. John does not remember for those memories were wiped a while ago. Steve wishes he could forget those dark days ... - Teresa and Alex proceed to play truth or dare ... Upset Kate demands to know where her son is. Roman seconds that. Harris suggests he will do better than tell them ... Steph is surprised. Everett gushes about the way she makes him feel. He came to find her and cannot live without her ... and wishes they could go back to their old days status. Steph reminds him she made her position clear. She was shattered when he vanished and attempted to move on and overcome. He wonders whether she stopped loving him and tearfully tells her before that fateful day he planned to propose. He implores her not to throw away their second chance ... Teresa and Alex kiss during their truth or dare ... Steve admits to curious John he wishes he could erase his memories of his badass days with Victor. Konstantin seems to be a trigger. The dude sometimes reminds him of the Greek tycoon. John admits tis the same for him and Steve realizes he has been having some memories. He knows not which is worse - not being able to remember or not being able to forget. Perhaps Abe is lucky he lost such memories ... - Harris takes Roman and Kate into Lucas' room. He greets shocked mama Kate, who cannot believe her eyes. Roman is right behind her ... She hugs Lucas as much as his healing body can take. Harris snuck him out of the slammer in a linen basket. No one can know, not even the commiss. Roman assures apologetic Lucas he is welcome here anytime ... Steph sadly recalls how she blamed herself for Everett vanishing. Then she fell apart and was in a bad way for a long while. She cries about feeling unworthy. Everett apologizes for hurting the most important woman he loved and still loves. He asks to make it up to her as strange music plays ... The silver fox senses something Steve is not telling him about Konstantin. Steve admits the dude seems to know about the pawn. Horrified John wonders how. Steve suggests they find out. The silver fox has not heard that name whispered for years and wants to know more. Steve senses the dude already knew a lot about the pawn and was just taunting him. They agree to look into the matter. Steve urges him to head home to Marlena and get some sleep. Rattled John agrees, thanks his partner and they go their separate ways ... Alex and Teresa's Truth or dare turns into him asking her the biggest lie she ever told. Drums play and the guilt-ridden girl distracts him by deciding he can dare her instead. She must sing her fave childhood song as loudly as she can. Row your boat. He sings along and they decide it was enough. Alex suggests they head to bed ... - Curious Steph wonders why no one searched for missing Everett. He was on assignment and his boss must have assumed he moved on. She wonders about his family. He reminds her he lost his mom as a child and dad was a drunk. Steph is sorry she asked. He adds he was never close with his east coast aunts and uncles. She gets it and wonders about his state of mind when he woke up. He had retrograde amnesia and was told to be patient. His first memory was actually HER. All he wanted was to return to her and let her know she is his everything. They share a heartfelt hug ... John comes home to Marlena in her elegant kimono inspired robe. The blonde worried he was alone. He knows she knew he was not alone ... Kate is relieved Lucas got out and all wonder how Harris did it. He put pressure and argued they needed Lucas in any case against Clyde so they agreed. But once the danger is gone, Lucas will need to return to the slammer. Kate sighs they should be happy for now. Harris gives them their privacy ... Teresa suggests she and Alex get some sleep. He plays along but two seconds later she heads into his bedroom ... Kate puts sore Lucas to bed. He is so glad to see her and assumes it is not easy for Roman, who insists he admires how he put his life on the line. Kate kisses her son goodnight, suggests he sleep and thanks Roman ... Restless Steve runs into Harris at the dark square. Harris admits the job made him restless tonight but refuses to elaborate before going on his way ... John informs doc of his and Steve's talk. He feels like a lucky man. She loves him. He loves her back, kisses her and they head to the bedroom arm in arm ... Steph and Everett start to smooch. They missed one another and he asks her to stay. Alas she cannot. It would be too soon. He would settle to sleep with her in his arms and she agrees. Then they tragically snuggle on the bed ... STAY TUNED! Luv Cathy |
