She breaks down and begs for forgiveness ... Outside by the nurse's station Marlena updates a shocked Kayla on Tate getting arrested for Holly's drugs, how D.A. EJ intends to play hardball. Kayla argues it was Holly who took the pills. Marlena agrees. However Tate panicked and did not call for help right away. She hopes poor Nicole will be able to survive if Holly does not make it. Kayla assumes Tate is also feeling guilty ... EJ confronts Stefan at the loading dock and blames him for what happened to Holly at his restaurant. Stefan suggests EJ is to blame! EJ scoffs. Stefan accuses him of not bothering to help him deal with Clyde, hence the horrible consequences ... - Kayla assures nervous Nicole that Holly's full brain function is a good sign. Marlena is sorry. He breathes he loves Holly. Nicole adds Holly loves him and updates him on what the doctors said. They can only wait. She cries she cannot lose another child. Eric holds her in his manly arms ... Chad gasps about the 5 grand. Everett explains it costs to get the dealers to talk. Chad gives his full support ... Stefan warns EJ would be signing the town's death warrant and suggests they do right by Holly. EJ reminds him he is to blame. He then glumly goes back inside. Everett senses something ... Back at Horton house Julie and Chad remember what an avid reader Abigail was. Chad admits he is more and more unable to accept her death. Julie assures him she will always be in his heart. She is in his children, in Charlotte's smile. Chad adds and Thomas' eyes. Julie invites him to move back into the house with the kids. Chad says yes. She smiles he has so much love to give ... and to receive ... Leo is livid about the budget. Sloan insists tis necessary. He grudgingly agrees to the app. Sloan is pleased and he glumly shakes on the new deal ... Nicole is relieved Holly's episode has passed and was an anticipated result of the overdose. Medicine woman Kayla steps away. Nicole wants Holly to wake up. Eric promises she will and he is here for them both. She thanks him and they share a very tight hug.
