Bartender Eric spills an unfinished drink on his shirt and removes it, revealing his t-shirt. Enter Jen carrying delicious donuts for another lucky guy in her life ... Theresa soap stares at an old happy pic of her family with Brady and Tate. JJ emerges with wet hair. She complains about Eve. Meanwhile phone Eve informs Victor that Brady has no tape in his possession. She therefore demands a plan B. Brady arrives and asks about her plan ... Abigail calls Kayla about her paternity test results. Nothing yet. Kayla assures her it will all be over soon. She ends her call and Gabi comes into her office. Gabi notes she already knows Abigail’s baby daddy dilemma... Chad opens the door to their room and seems to accuse Abigail of not sharing something significant. He proudly holds up the online article about him as new Titan CEO. She smiles she called in a favor and loves the photo of her Titan man. He kisses his PR princess and thanks her for being on his side. But stay away from dangerous Stefan! Abigail tenses and agrees ... Kayla cannot discuss a patient but Gabi is here about herself. Her lower back and abdomen have been hurting on and off. Maggie drove her here. Kayla will check her out ... Theresa claims her parents are letting her down by not being here. JJ is sympathetic and is here to help her hang onto her child. She gasps she does not want Brady to go to prison! JJ has faith in Justin and suggests she put aside her differences with Brady as he said. Pause. He will accept her decision whatever it is. Theresa is touched by his support. He believes they have both changed since the past. She admits she hates being alone still. He replies she will always have Tate. She cries with shared custody not always. Theresa now breaks down about Brady and beats herself up as a mother. JJ gives her another pep talk ... Eve ends her call and fibs to curious Brady she wanted the contracts from her assistant. Brady suggests she call Stefan. She hates that she sold her company to the snake but it beats being near Theresa. Brady grins he bears news. Eve hopes he means he will tell the judge t’was Nicole who killed Deimos ... The delicious donuts are all for JJ. Eric suspects Jen is trying to see if he is getting too close to Theresa. Jen worries that woman will bring out the worst in him all over again ... JJ alludes to Theresa’s partying ways and praises her for her spirit and commitment to Tate. She is torn about the custody issue and seeks a sign. JJ holds her hand in support ... Brady refuses to betray Nicole. Besides it would not help him with Tate. Eve begs to differ. Brady now boasts his news is that he might have gotten Theresa to drop her custody suit. Eve scoffs and doubts it ... Gabi is still sore from what happened in the slammer. Kayla asks about the injuries and would like to run tests. Gabi is anxious to return home to Ari ... Abigail is surprised when Chad notes Leo was a no show at the trial. Now the Titan stock is climbing again. Abigail is confused. Chad suspects Leo ran as he feared another secret would be revealed about him. He passionately kisses her and decides work can wait ... Theresa fixes her makeup to go give Brady her answer ... Jen points out she has had her own problems but she fears Theresa could drag JJ down again. They both used to do drugs together. Eric thinks that will not happen ... Brady happily holds up the cookies from Theresa. It is a good sign when she bakes! Eve reminds him that Theresa and Ted her lawyer are not playing fair. No Betty Crocker will help! She knows Theresa really just wants him back. Brady believes she will overcome her bitterness as he did with Nicole. Knock knock! Tis Theresa. He lets her in as Eve looks. Theresa tells Brady she has been thinking about the shared custody idea. Eve makes a snide remark. Theresa asks to be alone with Brady. Brady agrees so she steps out. Brady repeats he wants the best for Tate. Theresa tells him they will work it out ... As they snuggle in the afterglow Chad admires a photo of Thomas. Abigail wishes she had been here for more of his little life. Chad suggests they have another baby ... Gabi ends a call with Maggie, waiting for Kayla to come with the test results. Kayla returns and she asks to go home to Arianna. Kayla is sorry to say her problem, as it turns out, is serious ... Abigail sits up in surprise. Shirtless Chad holds her and gushes about having another baby with her ... Kayla assures Gabi her problem is still treatable. She has an infection in her reproductive organs perhaps from the prison surgery. Gabi asks about having more children. Kayla confirms her ability to carry a child could be compromised. Gabi gets upset about her never ending back luck. Kayla insists she will be alright and hugs her ... Back at the pub Jen is grateful for Gabi where JJ is concerned. She still worries Theresa will lead him down a partying path. Eric knows he would never be led down another partying path and praises she who raised him. Alas Theresa is another story ... Brady believes shared custody would be best for their boy. Is that not what she wants? Theresa get close. He turns her down again and she tells him he must be afraid. She believes their love is still here and strong. She asks if there is still a place for her in his heart. Eve watches from the shadows. Brady explains again he is with Eve. Eve emerges and he adds that will not change. Theresa finally gets it. Furthermore for Tate’s sake she accepts joint custody and is dropping her suit. Her lawyer will work out the details. She departs and Eve and Brady hug, breathing a sigh of relief ... JJ is surprised when a man from child services arrives to do an inspection of where Theresa is staying ... Gabi is distracted as Dr. Kayla prescribes her drugs. Her mad mind blames Stefan and Abigail for everything bad that has been happening to her ... Chad assumes Abigail’s silence is hesitation. He lets her know he would love to have another little DiMera. Abigail’s eyes widen ...Jen thanks Eric for always being there for her and agrees to trust that JJ will be alright. He wants her to stay so she teases he wants a donut. He has a sweet tooth so she feeds him one. Then he kisses her ... Brady kisses Eve and looks forward to the future. He goes to look for her missing contracts. Eve now calls Victor that no plan B is needed. Alas she now hears it is too late ... Theresa returns to JJ's apartment with a smile. The man from child services is told she and Brady have reached an agreement. Too late. He produces a packet of white powder he claims to have found in the kitchen ... Abigail is alone on her bed when she gets the call that her test results are in. Her doctor will be able to tell her more ... Meanwhile Gabi is in Kayla’s office waiting when the results are left on her desk. The mad former friend takes Abigail's envelope and considers her next move ... STAY TUNED! |
