LINK ONLY! posted on July 12 early afternoon est AGAINST ALL ODDS ... - Replay of the last few scenes on yesterday’s Days, ending with Lucas confronting the happily hugging Sami and EJ. Sami can explain. Lucas accuses EJ of conning her. EJ denies the charge. Lucas insists he is nothing but a killer and yells he will say and do anything to win her over to his side. He rages at EJ to stay away from now on and stares him down! EJ calmly reminds him his children live here and so he will come over whenever he wishes. Lucas will not allow it. EJ gets sarcastic. Sami babbles EJ only came over as he was worried about the children. Lucas is not interested. He intends to protect HIS family, which means himself, Sami, Will, and Ally! EJ smirks and wonders if he actually believes he would ever be able to keep him away from Samantha. Sami gives him a nervous look. She defends EJ and also assures Lucas he was concerned about the children. Lucas leers they will eventually find proof he pulled the trigger to off his father. He adds they do not need any of the misery that follows him around! EJ says to go to hell. He understands Lucas loves his family, but he too loves his family. He loves his children and he loves …He suddenly stops. Lucas glances at Sami and demands to know WHO he loves! - At the station, man in charge Rafe laments to Roman the judge is taking a long time with the search warrant. Spencer doubts EJ would keep any evidence but Roman thinks his ego is big enough. Rafe drawls he even arrogantly assumed he would pass the polygraph. He now gets a call. “Yes, you Honor.” The warrant has been granted. The three musketeers are on their way! - Chad and Dan wonder who in the hell would kidnap Mel and why! Dan plans to tear the town apart if they do not find something fast. Bo and Hope now have another update and a large map. They know the area from which Mel’s email was sent and intend to go door-to-door. They will be needing a recent photograph of the missing person. Chad provides one from his phone. Dan smiles at his daughter's face on the computer. Chad flashes back to that very moment when they kissed at the town square and he presented her with a beautiful bracelet. She loved it and she loved him! When she put in on, her took her photo. Then she cooed she loved him and he repeated he loved her too, followed by a sweet kiss. Meanwhile Mel quietly cries and bangs her bracelet against the wall. Her hands remain bound by rope and she is tied to the bed in her hellish prison. She flashes back to Chad romancing her at a private town square dinner. Back to the nightmare. She cries her heart out. The next flashback is about characters in the movies who belong together and Casablanca. “Here’s looking at you kid,” drawls Chad. Mel giggles and kisses him. Back to reality. She cries and wails. - Andrew angrily reminds Gabi that HE is in control with her recorded involvement and plays it again. She snaps to shut it off. He taunts her Chad could find out she was in on the scheme. She protests she was against it but he points out she still did not tell him. He shows her the bound and gagged prisoner through the peephole and leers that Gabi is responsible. She implores him to listen. The police are on the case and they might get caught! Andrew loses his patience and starts to send her recording to the police. Gabi stops him. She grabs away his phone and announces she is deleting the recording. He laughs like a lunatic. There are more copies of the recording. He is no idiot! Flustered Gabi now gets a call from Chad. He asks if anyone she spoke to had any info on Mel. Negative. He summons her to the station for the latest. She gets off the phone and complains it could be a trap. Andrew leers to get going. She suspects him of trying to set her up. He teases he was bluffing before. She quips she hates him and stomps up the stairs. He laughs at her not to jaywalk or she could get arrested! - The figure in black - looking much thinner than before - steals into EJ’s apartment, armed with the black gloves he threw away the night of the murder. The masked individual looks around for a place to hide them, then tapes them to the back of a painting. Abstract art, that is. - Bo has more information for team Mel. He has pinpointed the search area to a smaller vicinity. Roman, Rafe, and Spencer now run into them. Roman quietly tells Bo they got the search warrant for EJ’s place. Rafe reassures Dan and tells him to keep the faith. The entire force will be canvassing for the missing Mel. Gabi glumly watches as the cops note this will be their lucky day … - Elsewhere Lucas once more demands to know WHO EJ loves. He waits for an answer … Read Part 2, with Lucas vs EJ, Sami reacts, cops find evidence just before EJ gets home, and Chad's desperate bid to reach Mel! |
