LINK ONLY! posted on July 13 early afternoon est SET UP! - Replay of the cops finding the incriminating gloves taped behind the abstract painting, EJ entering and cursing about wot they are doing. Getting evidence! EJ perceives the gloves in the bag and nervously asks where they obtained those. Rafe is smug. EJ repeats the question. Rafe sarcastically states they must look familiar, for they were here in his apartment. EJ notes that is impossible as he flashes back to disposing of them. The cops leer it is possible and they found them. EJ suspiciously wonders where. Roman snaps it does not work that way. They have a search warrant. EJ raises his voice. He accuses the Salem P.D. and ISA of planting evidence. Roman had predicted he would say precisely that. Spencer explains they filmed the entire search. EJ brings up the vendetta against him. Roman insists they have done this by the book and the trail led straight to him! Spencer and Roman taunt him it is not looking good and list all that is building against him, the latest damning thing these gloves. EJ insists he is being framed and the evidence is circumstantial. Rafe, however,grins he saw how the gloves made him nervous.“Gotcha!” - Sami stops kissing Lucas and insists he not boss her around. He reminds her he was telling EJ to stay away. She also knows he wanted her to stay away. Lucas declares he will not let anyone come between them, not even EJ! He can take his money and go to hell. Sami is sorry for what he walked in on. Lucas possessively quips she belongs to him but Sami insists she belongs to no one. She criticizes his prehistoric views on men owning women. Lucas stammers he meant her and the kids and they are all together. Sami urges him to just trust she knows what is best for her family. He corrects her that would be his family too! He was only trying to protect her and their children and is sorry if he became upset. Sami muses he certainly hates EJ. Lucas snaps she does too, doesn’t she? Silence. Lucas declares she is the woman he loves, the mother of his children, and he will not let EJ get to her. Sami explains she is the mother of EJ’s children too. Lucas frowns. Does she mean EJ is as important to her as he is?! She sighs he will always be a part of her life. “Our life!” corrects Lucas. She assures him she was trying to get along with him, that is all. Lucas is still irate about the hug but she claims it was about the children. Lucas reminds her that EJ is their son’s blackmailer. When Sami points out he loves his kids, Lucas calls her delusional. Sami wants to give him the benefit of the doubt. Lucas warns her he will do anything to make them work but only if she can look him in the eyes and assure him she wants the same thing! Sami starts to yell and cry she cares about him and their latest chance. He wonders why she is sticking up for EJ, if that is the case. She cries she really does not know. He calls her her own worst enemy and decides he wants another kiss. - Kate is searching for the fall sales summary in her briefcase, which is needed for shipping to coordinate dates. Ian’s eyes widen as he spies the secret envelope she has been guarding. He needs a tea. Kate offers to bring him back one after she is done with shipping. Exit Kate. Ian sits at the desk and now opens the file in the envelope. He reads the contents of said file. Kate returns with his tea and snatches away the file. He pretends he came across it innocently when looking for another report. Lo and behold, it contains a copy of Stefano’s will and other matters concerning his immense estate. Kate pouts. He sternly asks how long she intended to keep this from him! Kate plays it cool, pretending she had no idea he would be remotely interested. Neither of them will be receiving anything from the estate of the phoenix. Ian points out that nevertheless, they are a team with no secrets. Therefore, she should share whatever else she happens to be hiding from him. - Replay of Gabi searching for Andrew and Mel, finding the note that he has gone on the lam with his fair prisoner for good! What has she done! Chad knocks on the door so she hides behind a wall, then realizes Mel’s bracelet is in the floor. It is too far for her to reach. Chad sees it too and kicks down the door. He leaps in, calling Melanie’s name, picks up the bracelet, and jumps from room to room. - Mel’s poster is all over the town square. Bo complains to Hope that the surveillance tapes did not turn up anything. He and Hope are hoping the door-to-door will yield some results. Meanwhile, Nicole sits with Dan at his table. He appears to be busy texting. Unaware of what has transpired, she suggests they pick up spring rolls. He sighs not now and walks off. Nicole wonders what she has done. She catches up with him and hopes she has not done anything. Dan insists it is not her. Bo and Hope join Dan with an update. Nicole is shocked to hear Mel is missing. She offers to help. Chad now calls Bo about the empty house with Mel’s bracelet. Bo orders him out of there immediately. He could be contaminating a crime scene, as well as placing himself in danger! The cops are on their way, with Dan and Nicole following. Bo, Hope, Dan, and Nicole catch up with Chad and the bracelet outside the house. Dan also confirms it as belonging to Mel. She never took it off! Chad has already looked on the main floor and upstairs. Bo wonders if he also checked the basement. Negative. Chad races back inside the house against Bo’s orders and the whole gang go downstairs to the locked room. Gabi is now hidden inside! Bo takes a look through the peephole and notices the rope, the gag, the bed. Chad panics and tries to barge in. Bo snaps to cut it out. Dan wants him to sit down. Gabi cowers in the corner, out of view. - Sami breaks away from her kiss with Lucas when she hears EJ shouting he will have the commissioner replaced within a week, Roman daring him to do it. She races to see what the commotion is all about, The door is open as the gloves are discussed. Sami and Lucas enter. The cops advise them to leave. Spencer admits they are taking the gloves they found in for testing. EJ accuses them of planting the evidence. Lucas is most pleased. He calls it a red letter day for him. The sooner EJ goes to jail the better! EJ ominously replies that he is not thrilled by the prospect of someone spending time with his children when that same person confessed to trying to murder their fatha! He now gives him a warning look, clearly remembering that the one who shot him was really Will ...!
