Tuesday, July 24, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! posted on July 23 early afternoon est A FEW GOOD MEN ... - In the dark tunnel, Andrew holds Mel and begs her to wake up. She has a gash on her face and soon gasps “What happened?” He cradles her head and promises he would do anything for her. She slowly sits up. Her head hurts, though she is otherwise fine. She notes he is crying and adds he must reeeeeally care about her. He insists he only tied her up as he feared she would leave him. “You’re bleeding!” He gets a gauze and dabs at her gash. He wants to take care of her. Mel pretends to be moved. She yearns to see the face of her savior. He quips he is not much to look at. In a very Phantom of The Operaish moment, she slowly removes his mask and calls him handsome. The madman blushes. - At the station, Chad seeks an update from Bo and Hope. They intend to speak with Gabi. In fact, they feel that Chad should not be at the station. Too late! Enter the prisoner! Chad is shocked to see handcuffed brother EJ hauled in by the cops and wonders whether he is under arrest. He joins him and EJ graciously asks about Mel, keeping his composure. Chad appreciates the concern but wants to know what is going on with his now uncuffed brother. EJ requests the police give them a moment alone. He explains to Chad this is most serious, for he is being charged with murda! They believe he killed Stefano. Meanwhile, Bo and Hope want to confer with Gabi. They would like her to explain to them why HER fingerprints were found on the note Mel’s kidnapper left behind. - At DiMera mansion, fully clothed Sonny wakes up on the sofa. Will is leaning against said sofa, his shirt half unbuttoned, still tiredly working on the computer. Still no luck retrieving the lost footage. Sonny goes to see about the coffee. Ding dong! Will stands up. Enter Sami in a vibrant jacket. She demands to know how he could not tell her about the letter indicating Stefano was not EJ’s father! Will gets snarky and sarcastic about her keeping her own secrets. She thinks he is being childish. He confesses he is upset that Lucas took his great grandmother’s letter to the cops. Sami argues he was trying to help him. She reminds him EJ is a mobster who pulled a gun on his own father. Will insists EJ did not do it. Sami is exasperated. Will explains he has been working for EJ for a long time and understands him. Now it is Sami’s turn to get sarcastic. Will reminds her that EJ loves his kids. In his view, both EJ and Sami have been at fault with one another. However, nothing was worse than how Stefano belittled him. It is something he can relate to. He brings up Lucas treating him like a child over the letter. Sami defends Lucas for doing what he felt was best. Will believes in EJ’s innocence. His boss needs his help cos thanks to papa Lucas, the entire town now thinks he murdered Stefano. The truth is, all he wanted was to make him proud. Sami points out he wanted the DiMera empire. Will points out he could have made his own money. But for some strange reason, he still loves Stefano. Sami stares. - At the pub, Kate sighs and hugs Austin. She laments he and Carrie are leaving today, hence his breakfast invitation. She asks what happened. He emotionally states if he does not get Carrie out of town, he could lose her! Things got too crazy here. They will return to Switzerland and get their marriage back on track, but only if Carrie sticks with the plan and gets on the plane. He, however, is leaving regardless, and explains why. If Carrie decided to stay in Salem for Rafe, he could not bear being around to see it. Kate reminds him that Carrie is having HIS child. Austin assures her he will be fine and his mind is made up. She assures him she will support him and he will indeed be fine. He sheds a tear and wipes it away. They hug and exchange I love yous. Kate cries he has brought so much joy to her life. That is why their parting is such sweet sorrow … - At the park, Rafe is on the phone with ISA Spencer. He thanks him for the hot lead. He has his bag packed and is on his merry way! Carrie now finds him. He grins upon hearing she was looking for him. She gushes he is the best person. He attempts to stop her. Carrie insists on continuing. Thanks to him, she now knows what real love and friendship is supposed to be. - At the station, Chad is peeved the cops are accusing EJ, who assures him he is lawyered up. EJ is touched the young DiMera believes in his innocence. Chad exclaims he would never hurt his father. EJ clears his throat. There are some things he is unaware of. “Certain evidence has come to light. Evidence that suggests Stefano is not my fatha!” Chad reels from the news. He sits down in shock. “How do you know?” EJ tells him of the letta. He first found out when Lexie became ill, though Stefano was already aware of it. Chad realizes that is why the cops think he killed the phoenix. EJ explains that is one reason. Chad gets choked up and insists he is still his brother. If he needs anything, he should let him know. - Will turns his back to Sami and returns to the computer to search for the footage. Sami knows exactly what that is. He complains someone deleted it and reasons it proves EJ is being set up. Sami agrees it makes sense and whips out the flash drive on which she saved said footage. Will is elated and she plugs it in. Seconds later, she takes it back and reminds him that it shows EJ discarding the gloves with gunshot residue in the dumpster too. Will is convinced it is the only thing they have to prove his innocence, as someone took the gloves after. He implores her for her help. Sami suddenly gets an idea and races off with the all important flash drive. She intends to hand it over to EJ herself … - Mel explains to Andrew they have to get out, due to the dangerous gas leak in the tunnel. She moans she is dizzy, might have a concussion, and begs him to take her to the hospital right away. He stands up with his bag. Mel appears hopeful. He promises she will be fine, sets down Mr. Bear, and gets his phone out. Nurse Mel stammers that she could die if she is hemorrhaging. He glances at the phone and notes there is a car rental place around the block. Mel hugs him, assuming he intends to get them both out. She slyly reaches for the phone he has since put down, with thoughts of calling Chad .... - Gabi lies to Bo and Hope that she remembers nothing. Bo wants to know everything she did from the time she woke up until the time they found her. Gabi babbles she was first on the floor, then got up to the bed, and then she passed out. Bo gives Hope a doubtful look. Hope decides they need a break. Bo mutters the girl knows more than she is telling. Hope agrees ... - In the park, Carrie and Rafe go over how they feel again. He whispers goodbye and they embrace for the very last time. She now tells him what he should admit to himself - about Sami ... - EJ grins that Chad reminds him of his fatha and suggests he go search for his girl. Hope opens the door and requests Chad’s presence, Alone again. EJ sits down with a sigh. Someone new enters. Tis Sami, who declares he does not need a lawyer! Bo is standing behind her. “Don’t do or say anything stupid,” grumbles Bo as he shuts the door, leaving them together. Sami promises that she will try. EJ muses he is surprised to see her. “What made you change your mind?” Sami gazes at him with her big blue eyes ... Read Part 2 of A FEW GOOD MEN ...! |
