She wishes Jada could step up but knows she is busy at Rafe’s bedside. Then she changes her mind again ... Gabi demands to know what the strange woman is doing in Rafe's room. Crazy Connie claims she wants to help the commiss. Gabi accuses her of lying and orders her to reveal her real reason for being in Rafe’s room ... Abe tries to get anxious Paulina to calm down ... Steph whispers to Jada if Stein is faking it, why now ... Stein enters Marlena's office and worries how long he can continue his Everett charade. Marlena enters with a smile and her elegant red jacket ... Connie claims she really came to see Gabi ... - Glam Kate arrives with showbiz news for Abe. The producers were ready to pass the torch so they have the rights to body and soul. They rejoice ... Busy Paulina has her appointment with Kayla. All is well except ... He claims he is now ready for hypnosis ... Jada cannot say for sure that Bobby would not have caused harm to Li. She gets a call from the station and gasps not to give Everett any info on Rafe's stabbing. He has been persistent with the police and Jada is mad. Steph wonders whether he might have stabbed Rafe. Horrified Jada wonders as well ... - Abe hears from Kate that the three lead actresses from Body and Soul are not willing to relocate to Salem ... Steph and Jada realize that Steph could not be Bobby's alibi ... Bobby fake cries for Marlena and claims his father beat him with a belt. He hollars to stop. Marlena observes his performance ... Gabi sits with sleeping Rafe and lets him know she loves him and is so proud to be his sister. He is all that is good in her world. She implores him to wake up and reveal who his attacker was so she can destroy them. Meanwhile his attacker Connie has a cup of coffee ready for Gabi the diva beech. She will not only off her brother but also make her pay for what she did to her beloved Li! Tis like a wild episode of Body and Soul ... - Paulina wishes her health problems would end. Kayla suggests with the new measures they would be gone a long time. The busy and much needed mayor reconsiders and admits Abe is busy with his show plans these days ... Abe wants to keep the show the same. Kate lists all they will need from crew to writers and more ... Unsuspecting Gabi thanks Connie for the coffee. Connie hopes Rafe will wake up soon and offers to do anything for her. Gabi reveals she did read her resume and was impressed. She offers to give her a trial run ... Jada recalls seeing Bobby with his murder mystery book in Bayview ... Marlena brings fake Everett back. He claims Bobby came back to protect him due to his father beating memories. Now that he remembers he thanks her for the miracle. Marlena gives him a silent stare as he continues to spin ... Gabi runs into sympathetic Paulina outside Rafe's room. Madam Mayor promises justice for Rafe ... Abe admits he has much to learn. However he has enthusiasm. He daringly suggests diva Kate play the role of Lorna. Kate reminds him she is a producer and notes there are two other roles to cast. Abe knows just who to cast for those two roles too ... - Medicine women Kayla and Marlena compare Everett notes. Marlena is suspicious of his sudden breakthrough and now worries she made a mistake in releasing him from Bayview. Meanwhile Bobby approaches sleeping Rafe and apologizes. He did not intend for him to die, he just wanted him out of the way so he could have Jada. He rather regrets what Connie did ... Jada swears Steph to silence. She will haul Bobby in for questioning.
