Thursday, July 26, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! posted on July 25 early afternoon est BEFORE THE BIG BANG ... - Brady and Chad stand up from the rubble. They are standing on shaky ground and they know it. They dust themselves off and try to get their bearings. Chad fears Mel’s captor caused the explosion and Mel was hurt or even worse. Brady assures him the cops will come. Chad notes i f another blast happens with all that gas, no one down here will survive! - Gabi moves the broken boards off her and crawls to Mel, removing the debris on her. Mel does not know what she is doing there. Andrew suddenly grabs Gabi’s leg and she winces in pain “Hey Gabi, long time no see!” leers the loon. Mel stares. How does he know her name? He taunts Gabi to tell her. Gabi hastily explains he is the creepy stalker who has been hounding her. Andrew scoffs. Gabi praises Chad for piecing it all together. She informs Andrew it is not too late for him to escape. Mel cannot believe what she is hearing. Gabi reasons he can let them go their way and then he can go his way. No one needs to get hurt. She starts to usher Mel away. Meanwhile, Chad is dismayed he cannot get a phone signal. The guys keep going through the now crumbling tunnels and call out Mel’s name. - Daniel meets Victor at the mansion. He is a nervous wreck. Vic assures him that his daughter will be found. Dan could use a good stiff drink but decides not to indulge. Victor, however, pours himself one. He asks what he can do to help. Money is no object, whether for a reward or a search team. Dan stammers his appreciation and promises to talk to Roman. He is about to take his leave, though that was not all the Greek tycoon wishes to discuss. There is still Nicole. He gets straight to the point. “Good God man, what the hell are you thinking!” Outside the mansion, Maggie runs into Nicole. The redhead cries she is rattled as there is no news on Mel. She wonders why Nicole is there. Nicole explains she was summoned by the master. Maggie suspects it is her fault. She shows Nicole into the front entrance and laments she has not been herself of late. She knows she is not helping but cries she stares into space a lot. Nicole has noticed Daniel doing the same. Maggie moans this is her fault. Victor pressured her for answers, gave orders, and she shared that Nicole and Daniel were together. She is sorry she blurted it out. Nicole understands and hopes he took it well. Maggie replies he was not happy about it but she is! Nicole is touched. Inside, Daniel grumbles for Victor not to go there. This is not his concern. The Greek tycoon growls his ex-wife makes Medea look like the tooth fairy. The knocked up, broke, desperate broad is just using him and sex is her weapon. Daniel repeats this is none of his business. He was sleeping with Nicole before Mel went missing and he knew exactly what he was doing! - Will calls Roman from the town square. They both noticed the rumbling. Will would like an update on EJ’s bail. Roman drawls Sami took care of it and he sure as hell intends to ask her for an explanation! - Sami smiles to EJ that he is free. He realizes she used Countess W as collateral. Enter Roman. He just spoke with Will and he was curious too. Roman now demands to know why she posted this guy’s bail. Sami explains just as he taught her, she did the right thing! Roman calls EJ a jerk. Sami insists he is being framed. Roman doubts it. Sami insists he is telling the truth. Roman tells EJ to shut up when he tries to interrupt. He quietly reminds his daughter how this man has behaved in the past and suggests she has been manipulated. EJ arrogantly asks Roman for the paperwork required for his release. Roman now notices the scratch on Sami’s head. She fibs she stumbled over a crack. Sami hopes EJ really is out on bail. Roman growls he has no choice. However, he will still have the suspect fitted with a 24 hour ankle bracelet, lest he be tempted to take off ... - Chad complains it is like being stuck in a rat’s maze. He is desperate for news on Mel. Anything. Brady assures him they will find her. The thought that there could be another, bigger explosion terrifies Chad. They continue to cover ground. - Commissioner Roman wants the fire department as well as utilities at the town square to find the source of the strange tremor and barks orders over the phone Will arrives and Roman explains he is too late for EJ has gone. Will would like to know where he went. Roman snaps EJ is with Sami, whose marriage was ruined by him too. He finds this sudden support from both Will and Sami highly suspicious. The conversation is cut short when the busy commissioner receives an anonymous phone tip. He dismisses Will and quietly informs a cop that he just got a call about DiMera. Will sneakily listens outside the door. - EJ has just finished getting dressed. He fastens his belt as he strolls into the DiMera living room and thanks Samantha for bailing him out. His casual mood changes when he hears that she was mugged for the flash drive. She is so sorry they got it. EJ decides right then and there that she can no longer be involved. It is far too risky. He orders her to leave. - Mel assures Andrew she will pretend she never saw his face. The self-proclaimed lunatic laughs and taunts that Gabi is not her friend. She is not there to help her! Mel wonders what he means. Gabi gets tense. She accuses him of having a sick mind. He laughs she can do better, then hears a noise. Gabi insists it must be the police. The lunatic goes to check it out but first handcuffs both girls to a pipe. He promises not to be gone long, grabs Gabi’s phone, ignoring her loud protests, and walks off. The electric box on the wall makes a sizzling noise. Mel is filled with dread. It is only a matter of time until the gas builds up. Their situation is dire. Gabi does not want her to think like that. Mel, however, has run out of hope. - Roman barks on the phone that he does not care who DiMera is, the jet cannot take off with him on it. “That’s an order!” He complains to the other cop that EJ is ready to escape to Uruguay and the plane is being fueled. According to the tracking device, he is still at home. Roman assumes he is packing and decides they will confront him at his house. Will bolts to beat him to it. - Sami refuses to be dismissed. She lets EJ know that she does not agree with Lucas, that he is guilty. She is now convinced he has been set up. EJ notes someone is going to incredible lengths to pin his fatha’s murder on him. There is great danger so she must keep her distance. Sami argues he needs her help. She refuses to stand back. EJ lists the people in his life, how they are either gone or want nothing more to do with him. She reminds him he has Johnny and Sydney. EJ agrees they mean the world to him though he has missed having someone to talk to, someone who understands him. In fact, he would feel completely alone if not for her. He does not deserve her! Sami smiles. The moment is interrupted when Will bursts in, exclaiming not to do it. “Don’t get on the plane!” - Things get even more heated between Victor and Daniel, who reminds his godfather he hounded Phillip too. Vic quips he did not listen and look what happened! He calls Jennifer the right woman. Dan mutters too bad she did not agree. Victor thought he was already lowering his standards with Chloe, but Nicole?! Enter Nicole, followed by Maggie. The redhead lets glowering Victor know that she does not approve of this scheme. The Greek tycoon reminds her she was actually shaking after she saw the pair together. Maggie denies it and clarifies. She was shaking because Mel was missing. She apologizes to Daniel. Victor suddenly thunders he forbids him to have anything to do with that that ... Dan suggests he choose his next words very carefully! Victor believes he does not even need to. Daniel understands he is stressed about Mel, as they all are. However, Nicole gets how he feels and is making it easier for him to keep the faith. Victor brings up the fact that she cannot be trusted. And she once tried to kill him! Maggie quips she can see why. Vic snaps she has not changed. Dan advises him not to force him to choose. Ring ring! Daniel steps away to take the call. Assuming it is Roman, Maggie runs after him. Nicole graciously tells Victor she will slip out the back. He has something to say. Perhaps she has changed. But what about when the baby pops out and EJ comes chasing after it? Nicole insists Rafe is the father of her baby. The Greek tycoon is rendered speechless. - Dan gets off the phone and sighs to Maggie there is nothing new to report on Mel’s whereabouts. Maggie breaks down and wonders if she even counts. He assures her she is the best thing that happened to his daughter. They will get her back. He emotionally declares they are a family. Mother and son embrace. - Victor realizes that the ink was not yet dry on Nicole’s divorce from EJ, then she bed hopped her way from Rafe to Dan. Fruit flies have longer relationships! He deduces she has changed, but not in the way Daniel thinks! Maggie returns with Dan and tells her husband that is enough. Dan discreetly suggests he and Nicole go out to get some air. He leaves Maggie to give her hubby hell. And once they are gone, she warns him he WILL be sorry! - Brady and Chad are now above ground at the town square. The utility workers are on scene. Brady realizes the cops must already be down there. The absent groom gets another text from Madison. Chad places a call to Gabi’s phone. It is ringing! Below ground, Andrew sees Chad as the incoming caller. He tosses the phone into a puddle and keeps moving. Meanwhile, Gabi updates Mel on Chad’s tenacity, how he found her bracelet. He will not give up until he finds her. But they must get out before Andrew the loon returns! The electric box sizzles and a few sparks fly. It is a ticking time bomb! Andrew rejoins them and leers that Chad called. He wonders what Gabi would have told him, an evil glint in his eye .... Read Part 2 of Before the Big Bang ...! |
