Will gushes to Paul that the hospital has managed to make Rolf’s serum. Paul is supportive. Will admits he worries what if it changes him ... Xander has the small recording device from the envelope marked with Nicole’s name and decides to listen ... Theresa gloats to Brady that Victor put her in charge of Bella. Eve appears and cannot believe it ... Kayla the unhappy spy calls Stefan about the patient files. Marlena treated Kate years ago but the file is fake. Marlena must never know! Marlena has entered unheard and would like to know what she meant. Kayla hangs up and fibs it was about Steve’s file. She laments the bionic eye lead was a dead end. Marlena is sorry to hear it especially when she learns Stefan owns the company ... Kate remembers the gunshot that changed her life. Knock knock. Smooth talking Ted has come by with food ... Eric updates bartender Roman on Theresa staying with JJ. That girl never gives up ... Brady and Eve refuse to accept Theresa’s promotion ... Before Xander can give the device a listen Sonny shows up and snaps what now! Xander smirks up from the desk ... Xander slips the device into his pocket and pretends he wanted to leave a farewell note for the family. Sonny is suspicious. Xander complains about the family not appreciating him and starts to go. Sonny stops him, demanding to know what he stole ... Will explains to Paul he needs to do this and he needs him at his side. Paul agrees ... Kayla tells Marlena the truth about Stefan wanting to sell his technology to the government. She complains he also controls people. Marlena suspect his real revenge will be against Kate for killing Viv. Kayla suggests Kate is equally ruthless and questions her innocence. Marlena wonders why she is so preoccupied with it ... Ted flirts about strategizing with Kate, who reluctantly lets him into her lavish room. He compliments her with his continental accent and teases Titan will pick up this tab. She calls him cocky and he likes her attitude ... Kayla denies caring about what Kate does but she does wonder about the skeletons in her closet. Paul and Will now arrive. Marlena greets her grandson with a smile. Kayla hands Marlena a paper on the chemical makeup of Rolf’s secret serum. Paul asks if it will get Will his memory back but Kayla knows not. Will still wants to try ... Sonny wrestles with Xander’s bag and a few thousand fall out. Xander blasts him for his bad behavior costing the company more. Sonny reminds him he is Victor's son and it escalates. Xander gets mean about Will. Adrienne arrives and kicks the cad out. Xander takes his leave with the secret recording and slips it in his bag ... At the pub Eric admits to Roman he would not be able to talk to Brady for Theresa after what happened with him and Nicole. Roman believes the time has come to move on. They are family ... Theresa smugly states she has her own ideas for the campaign but Brady wishes she would stop. Theresa laments Brady looks at Eve like he once looked at her! Eve claims she cannot come between them. Theresa claims she will not even try and tells Eve she can have Bella back, while Brady is running Titan as CEO, living at home where he belongs with HER. Eve is not amused ... Brady turns away. Eve threatens to strangle her sister. Brady suspects this was Victor’s idea and lets Theresa know he is making his new life with Eve. Theresa smiles she will see them at work, tells them their ideas are terrible so far and flounces out ... Adrienne calls Xander a creep and hopes Sonny is not stressed. He updates her on the latest with Will and Rolf’s serum. He wonders why Adrienne never told him about it ... Marlena has reserved a room to talk privately with Will and Paul. Kayla does not join them. Paul tells her he has been praying for Steve and exits. She lets out a sad sigh and locks her office door. Then she locks away a file and calls to get Kate’s room number, fibbing that as her doctor she has information for her patient. She does not get far at first ... As they dine in her lavish room, Ted assures Kate they will win the case. He suspects her Titan obsession is really a way for her to avoid her personal issues. He knows she was widowed and must have been grieving. She quips her beloved was not true to her and teases him for being a ladies man. Then he lets her know his wife of 20 years recently lost her battle with ovarian cancer. Kate herself is a cancer survivor and credits her friends for helping her survive. Ted makes a toast to that. Kate is touched ... Back at Kiriakis mansion Sonny wishes his mother had not hidden the huge Rolf news. She felt it was a longshot. Sonny gushes Will is going to get the serum and he feels they will get back together like when they were a couple in love ... Marlena warns Will what is in the vial was untested soooo ... Paul points out Will is aware of the risks but he is here to support him. Marlena fears something might happen to him. Will notes no one would blame her but Marlena speaks one name who would – Sami ... Roman is sorry that Eric lost Nicole his great love but he seems swell with Jen ... Xander sits on a bench and gets out the listening device that could lead to his next cash grab. He presses play and hears Brady complain about covering up the real killer of Deimos. Xander’s eyes darken ... Will argues he wants to know all of him, but between the bad memories there will be wonderful ones. Marlena would rather not be part of the process. Will agrees to explore other options of how to get this done but he will do it with or without her ... Brady tidies the papers and grumbles about Theresa. Eve gets a faraway look in her eye and suggests he go with Titan, his dream. Brady emotionally explains she now fulfills him more than anything. Then he kisses her ... Roman decides Nicole and Jen are different. Eric feels safe and at home with Jen unlike the roller coaster ride of Nicole. He agrees to go buy Roman more limes for the bar ... Xander hears recording Brady raging at Nicole for killing Deimos and calling her a beech. He turns it off. Eric comes out of the pub and snaps they do not serve his kind. Xander alludes to knowing something about Nicole, who did not dump him at all so it seems. Eric insists he is over her and threatens him to leave Salem or else. Xander heads off after warning he will be back ... Brady and Eve snuggle under the sheets together. But she worries Theresa will destroy everything. Brady believes in them outlasting her and kisses her ... Xander now runs into Theresa at the square and complains about his own sorry lot. He is departing Salem and suggests she come with. Theresa vows to get what she wants. He smugly states he will come back for a huge score soon ... Kate enjoyed the lunch and chat with Ted and sees him to the door. She wants him to stay away since they should not be connected. He agrees and goes. Kate closes her door. Kayla comes around the corner wondering about that connection ... Sonny the hopeful heart confides to Adrienne he is hoping and praying to get back with the Will he used to know ... Eerie music plays as Marlena agrees to do as Will wishes. He thanks her so she prepares his arm for the needle. Then he is injected with Rolf’s serum searing through his veins. He gushes he has a good feeling as Paul's eyes flicker with worry ...
