Eve and Brady are both bothered by Theresa’s nerve suing for Tate. Brady will not let her win ... At JJ’s place JJ tells Theresa she has gone too far. She recalls how Brady threatened to get custody of Tate from her before so this is best. JJ calls it revenge ... At the hospital Abe thanks Val for her words of wisdom. She notes the kids need them to be strong now. Abe agrees with a sigh and kisses her hand. They exchange I love yous. Inside her room Lani sobs she has to see her son and begs Eli for her baby ... At DiMera mansion Stefan sarcastically greets Gabi, who has stormed in to tell him off for setting her up. He toys with the chess set and makes light of his mischief ... Chad ends a call with Kate, reminding her to get the lawsuit dropped and hears a knock at the door as he looks at his phoenix ring. He assumes it is Jen but Abigail has just arrived from the airport and gives him a kiss. Reunited and it feels so good. She smiles and asks for the latest ... Stefan blames the testimony of Abigail’s alter for putting Gabi behind bars. Gabi rages Abigail remembers how he framed her and threatens to take action against him by enlightening the D.A. He gives her an ironic glance and her eyes flash with fury ... Theresa reasons it is not wrong to want to be with her child. JJ warns her not to take him from his father. She knows Brady has the best lawyer and just wants to protect her rights as a mom. JJ still feels it is the wrong move. Meanwhile Brady takes off to confront Theresa. Eve accompanies him ... Lani sobs for Eli to let her see her son. He asks her to stay in bed and agrees to try. When he walks out she falls apart. Abe thinks Lani should not see the baby but Val gets she wants to say goodbye. Abe gets choked up and asks her to arrange it. Done. Eli decides to be there as well for Lani and his boy ... Abigail smiles and asks Chad for the latest as they sit on the bed. He gets choked up about how happy he is. He missed her and kisses her like he means it. All of a sudden he remembers finding her in Stefan’s bed when she was fake Gabi. Abigail seems to know. He holds her hand and would rather not discuss but she wants to. She assures him Gabby and Laura are now a part of her so she remembers what they did. It has been difficult and she hopes he can forgive her. That is a given! Chad declares they can do anything and he will love her always. He kisses her sweetly ... Stefan politely offers Gabi a drink and warns she would be wasting her time with the D.A. She insists she will win. He warns it would be his word against mentally ill Abigail, who already admitted to killing Andre. Besides Gabi has no proof. She snaps he is a smug bastard and takes a drink. She rages her own daughter just rejected her for leaving and it is all his fault. She hurls her glass and it shatters. Stefan was not expecting such an outburst ... Lani cries as Abe and Eli insist she is not to blame for what happened but she feels she should have come to the hospital sooner. Abe consoles his sweet daughter and tries to make her feel better. Knock knock! Val enters with a lifeless little bundle in her arms. Lani cries more tears and stops talking ... JJ confesses to Theresa he is worried about Lani when she learns she lost the baby. Theresa cannot imagine such a scenario and mutters it makes her miss Tate more. Brady now knocks at the door and bellows to open ... Stefan responds to Gabi in Spanish when she blasts him in that language as well. He switches to English to say he is sorry about her daughter and assures her Ari did not mean her harsh words. She will change. Gabi begs to differ. He repeats he is sorry and wishes he could make it up to her. She demands her company back in that case ... Abigail notices the phoenix ring Chad now wears on his finger. She admires it as it came from his father. She notes they still need jobs though so he gushes he already got one. She giggles what? He states he is the new CEO at Titan. Abigail blinks ... JJ opens the door. Brady tells off Theresa and insists the judge will side with him. He talks abandonment. She points out she was protecting Tate the whole time. Eve agrees with Brady. Theresa reminds Brady he said she could not see Tate. He seems open to negotiation and tells her to drop the custody case immediately to do right by their son ... Lani holds the tiny bundle and cries more tears over the beautiful baby she lost. Eli is overwhelmed. Lani wanted to name him David after Eli’s father. He likes it and would have suggested Abraham. Lani suggests David Abraham Grant. Eli feels it is strong sounding and agrees. She thanks him for being there. He assures her he is here always ... Stefan sighs he just signed contracts with Basic Black that are tied to Gabi Chic. He suggests she return to DiMera and run the company though ... Abigail feels for Sonny in his situation. Chad admits he feels bad too. Abigail notes he should not as he could not get him his job back anyway. Chad confesses but he could ... Theresa tells Brady she does not want Tate to be shuffled and urges him to end it with Eve. Eve urges her not to lash out cos of her. Brady blasts her for trying to exact of revenge on him. JJ suddenly defends Theresa as she was scared in Mexico and they should cut her some slack. He reasons if Brady had treated her with some respect instead of booting her out she would not have resorted to this. He should blame only himself! Chad is certain the Titan legal team would be able to dig up dirt on Leo. Abigail suspects that is already being done and asks after Gabi. He informs her she was implicated in another inmate’s murder but it was solved and she is now free. Abigail feels to blame and assumes Gabi is angry at her again ... Gabi suspiciously wonders why Stefan wants to suddenly help her. He admits he admires her strength as a businesswoman and knows her input would benefit Gabi Chic. Will she consider coming back to DiMera? ... Brady claims this is no concern of JJ’s. JJ defiantly declares he brought it to his doorstep and orders him and Eve to leave. Brady warns Theresa this is far from over and grudgingly goes. Theresa thanks JJ with tears in her eyes and he tells her he meant what he said ... Gabi is torn but takes the job. Stefan smiles and offers to have legal draw up the paperwork. She demands more money. Done! He walks out of the livingroom. Gabi warns Stefano's portrait she will destroy his son's world from the inside. Then she knocks over a chess piece as a declaration of war ... Chad suggests he and Abigail take out Gabi and Ari for lunch. Abigail notes it would not be nearly enough to make up for everything but will check her calendar. Chad gets a call from his lawyer and steps away. Abigail lets out a sigh ... The priest performs a private service in the hospital room where Lani holds her late baby with Eli at her side. He asks the Lord for healing, strength and love as Abe and Val stand in silence ... Abigail looks at her calendar to find the best date for lunch. Alas she also sees another date that makes her start to panic. Might she be pregnant?! BOOM STAY TUNED! |
