Nicole complains to Chloe about EJ just saying his biz trip was talking longer. She is now not hearing from him about her appointment. Chloe is sympathetic. Nicole believes her baby deserves a better daddy ... Sloan hopes they made a baby. Eric realizes how much she wants one. She flashes back to using her own swab so his paternity test with Nicole's baby would be a negative. She smiles she wants the baby for them both and they kiss ... Towel Tripp catches Wendy off guard as he overheard her call about a date with Johnny. He was planning to make her dinner at home. Wendy will be picked up in an hour. Tripp insists on having his date with her before ... - Chanel weeps as she updates Johnny on all the clues and the witness who saw Abe enter the water. Tis assumed he drowned. She breaks down and Johnny holds her in his arms. He calls Abe a great one who deserved better. Chanel weeps she must go to mama as Rafe and Jada are going to tell her. Johnny insists on driving her ... Sloan longs for family in her life. Eric understands. She hopes to be a good mother ... Nicole knows the DiMera empire means much to EJ. Chloe gets it and hopes she will get why she is now seeing Xander. Nicole sighs ... Xander cares about Gwen cos they used to be an item. Gwen argues he has no motive cos she has no money ... Tripp has 45 minutes to give Wendy the greatest date before Johny picks her up. Tis a tad pushy but Wendy enjoys the attention ... - Nicole cannot forget all the misdeeds of Xander. Chloe wants them not to judge the other's love interest. Nicole probes and Chloe admits they have not slept together ... yet ... Xander has not forgotten what Gwen did to his fiancee. Dimitri leers it sounds like he was seeing them both and talks tough. Xander talks tough right back ... Leo insists Dimitri wants something and wonders whether tis a green card. Gwen insists he is not here illegally and snaps maybe he wants to spend his life with her ... Sloan agrees to eat at the pub with Eric and suggests he invite John and Marlena so they can tell them about their baby plans. He suggests they stick to dinner only and calls unheard unseen mama Marlena. Eric is horrified to hear about Abe ... Johnny sees Chanel into Paulina's place but no one is there. She gets a call from Jada, who told mama all. Mama wanted to go to the docks with them. She will stay and wait for Paulina. Johnny will stay too since he knows Chanel does not want to be alone ... Wendy is wearing her party dress when Tripp knocks on his own door holding flowers and starts their date. Building blocks and shots with a lot of laughs follow ... - Leo calls Gwen lovable but wants to shield her from Dimitri's sordid scheme whatever it is ... Xander warns sarcastic new guy in town Dimitri he has a past and warns him not to harm Gwen ... Chloe believes being in bed with Xander would be a big step. She hopes for EJ to return soon and so does Nicole. The friends agree they are here for one another. Always ... Upset Eric updates Sloan on Abe's presumed drowning death. She is stunned and argues then Colin did not off him after all. Eric worries how Nicole will take the news as Abe was like a father. Sloan encourages him to go see his friend ... Wendy had a fun 45 minute date. Tripp is ready for the goodnight kiss but Johnny's call interrupts. He explains he is with Chanel, who just learned of Abe's death. Wendy is shocked. He cannot leave Chanel alone. Wendy agrees he should stay with her. He is sorry. Wendy is glad he was there for her ... After he ends the call Chanel realizes the pair had plans ... - Tripp is shocked and feels for Chanel ... Johnny insists on being with Chanel, dinner plans be danged. She holds a framed photo of herself with stepdad Abe ... Xander unpacks food at home and complains to Chloe about Dimitri and Gwen getting engaged ... Leo calls Dimitri a natural disaster and the Euro-cad shows up. Leo leers he knows his last name really means butcher. Dimitri - who is in full Mr. Darcy mode - gallantly wonders whether Gwen will do him the honor of becoming his wife ... Sloan tries to tell herself that EJ might be the father of Nicole's baby so no need to worry ... At DiMera mansion Nicole is about to text EJ but throws her phone and curses the daddy of her baby had better come through that door in five minutes! Enter Eric.
