At DiMera mansion Nicole has a tray for fatigued Holly, who realizes New Year's Eve was long ago. She wonders why she was in a hospital in Italy and notes they do not let her have her phone. She wonders why and here comes EJ ... Brady and Teresa arrive to see Tate but only Teresa is on the visitor's cos Tate did not include him. Devastated Brady tells Teresa to go ahead. She gives waiting Tate a hug and tells him his father came. He refuses to see him ... - Out of sorts Stefan puts on his mask and Goldman steps away. He suddenly realizes she works for Clyde ... Konstantin brings up Aria and how his Katarina loved Greek food and everything about being alive. Steve snaps he is busy on a case. Konstantin deduces he has not found his son. He sarcastically states he knows the pain of losing a child as he wonders daily who robbed his beautiful daughter of her life ... Nicole insists Holly try to walk. EJ helps the girl to a chair but the breakfast chicken broth is not her thing. She wants to order a burger and is back to being her snarky self. EJ missed the mom daughter miscommunication and kisses Nicole ... - Tate has had memories of Brady being a missing dad like when they were in California. Teresa admits that move was her idea cos she wanted to keep him far from his father ... Konstantin knows the nightmare of losing a child. Each day he misses Katarina more. She was the only good thing about him. He asks Steve how he feels about his kids and Steve replies they mean everything to him. Konstantin asks if he understands how painful the loss of his beloved daughter was. Steve sighs how could he not and the Greek thanks him for that ... John joins Brady at the halfway house. He promises things will improve with Tate. Brady thanks him and suggests he go see waiting Tate ... Tate does not believe Teresa. She confesses in the old days she lied and implicated Brady in a murder case to get full custody. Tate is astounded. She assures him his dad has always loved him. And there is more. She recently fell off the wagon but Brady the good guy saved her despite her past lies. John comes in and hugs the kid. He praises Teresa for being truthful and assures Tate his parents and grandparents will always unconditionally love him ... - Stefan slips into sleeping Harris' room. He is about to inject the poison in his IV when Harris grabs his hand to stop him. He was fake sleeping. Mr. Navy Seal Man easily overpowers him and gets him in a choke hold ... Steve is sympathetic but refuses to be implicated. Konstantin continues to guilt him about his loss so Steve speaks up. That day was a terrible accident ... Holly wonders why she was in a coma. EJ updates her on the drug overdose that caused her heart to stop. Nicole explains it was New Year's Eve. EJ suggests she try to remember because they need to know where the dangerous drugs came from. The girl starts to sweat ... Brady is all alone in the waiting room ... Teresa urges Tate to go to his father. John tells him how he just found his own long lost father but the missing years are gone. He tells Tate not to miss his time with his da and wants to go get Brady ... John surprises Brady when he emerges and tells the employee at the desk that Tate is asking to see his dad. Brady is over the moon ... Harris tightens his grip on Stefan, who is now gasping. He gets him to agree to take the fall and then help him take down Clyde ... - Konstantin waits for Steve to confess and suggests it will take away his guilt. Steve sighs nothing will and admits he was there that deadly day. Konstantin begs to hear the story that will give them both piece of mind. Steve begins. A long time ago he was the handler of Victor's Pawn and received instructions that made him leave. When he returned there was a young girl dead. He did not know her identity but now does. The pawn was holding the gun and there was someone lying flat on the ground. He did not see the face but now knows it was Konstantin ... Teresa steps away when Brady arrives. Tate is glad to see his dad and Brady feels the same way. Tate admits Teresa told him the truth ... EJ wants to know if Tate gave Holly the drugs. She quickly replies she cannot remember and states someone likely slipped the drugs in her drink. EJ and Nicole get her back to bed and leave the room. Holly is now a nervous wreck ... - Harris warns Stefan he has him on two counts of attempted murder now! Stefan gets it and gasps, still caught in the chokehold of the former Navy Seal. Harris points out his prints are also on the weapon and releases him. Stefan gasps for air as he alludes to a new plan ... Konstantin is enraged. Steve argues John is no longer the pawn and when he was others were in control. He tells Konstantin to spit on Stefano and Victor's graves but leave John be. Konstantin threatens to get justice and mentions Tripp being alive. Then he takes off in his vendetta frame of mind ... Holly remembers her New Year's date with Tate ... D.A. EJ vows to go after Tate and now believes he drugged Holly to have his way with her ... Tate apologizes to his father. Brady says no need and thanks Teresa for her truthfulness. He loves his son and they share a heartfelt hug. Tate also thanks Teresa for telling him the truth. She happily hugs him and Brady gets teary ,,, - Nicole is watching over sleeping Holly. EJ enters. She hopes the drugs were not Holly's cos that would make her feel she failed her daughter. EJ assures sweethot she is an amazing motha and Holly is an amazing young woman who did nothing wrong. They leave her to rest. Holly opens her lying eyes ... John returns to Steve feeling rejuvenated. Steve shows him where the last phone pings were heard. John does not notice his partner is intense ... Harris orders Stefan to leave until he hears from him. Then he gets back in the bed and clutches his wound. Goldman enters and he gasps it is her!!!
