EJ enters in his robe and wonders why he summoned him. Stefan finishes his drink and gasps he needs help ... Roman and Kate are wearing hats as they approach Lucas's new safe house. He opens the door dressed like a monk. Kate hugs her son and Ro asks how it is. Lucas quips things are simple at the monastery and he feels suffocated. Kate teases him about the irony ... Tripp starts to pace. Wendy suggests another imaginary vacay ... Steve and John disagree with Ava's insistence they break out Clyde so she wonders what they would do ... Stefan begs EJ to help him. Brother is sarcastic until Stefan admits he shot Harris. Then he snaps wot the bloody hell was he thinking when he attempted the murder of a cop! Stefan replies Clyde threatened Gabi and complains Harris is alive. Now Clyde will come after HIM ... - Roman and Kate continue to tease Lucas and his minimalist residence. Then they banter with one another and Lucas gets glum about the no TV. Kate mentions their visit with the Abbott and he acts surprised she was not struck down by lightening. It seems that abbot wants him to convert. Kate reminds him he is safe here. He vows to be like a rock star monk ... Wendy takes Tripp on a fake Trip to Pisa ... John wants to hear the very real details of Clyde's orders to Ava. Steve asks if there were any location clues. John and Steve are appalled he even suggested she get the Vitalis to help. Ava warns Steve he might never see his son again. Time is running out! John and Steve are working on the video. Ava insists they help her spring Clyde from the slammer today. Steve is angry about her dubious dealings so she reminds him this is about Tripp ... Lucas complains about his laundry duty and boredom without a phone. Kate brought him food, toiletries and books from Doug. He opens the Count of Monte Cristo. Kate promises her homesick son he will soon get his life back ... - EJ gets sarcastic as Stefan complains Harris is now demanding his help. He has lost control and rages he should have helped him the first time. Haughty EJ refuses to be blamed. Stefan notes he has no one and wonders what to do. EJ announces he will call the cops. Stefan feels sunk ... Tripp and Wendy now imagine driving on the coast ... A noise is heard and their kiss is over ... John is mulling over the situation as Steve berates Ava and suggests they focus. John sighs tis time to consider other options. Steve grudgingly agrees they will spring Clyde from the slammer since tis the only way ... Stefan plays the Stefano card and suggests he would tell EJ the elder to save the family ... Kate wins at poker with nuts. Lucas asks about Harris and hears he woke up and is expected to recover. In addition Clyde is still suspected of orchestrating the terror that fateful night. Lucas worries about the target on his back ... - Tripp and Wendy bang on the wall and implore someone to open the hatch. The sound of it shutting shocks them ... As Stefano's silent portrait observes, EJ gets sarcastic, then agrees to help Stefan in return for all his DiMera shares as well as his assets. Stefan does not want to be broke but EJ argues he tried to do the same to him. Stefan now hears he would arrange his safe passage to a safe country. He agrees to give him everything to save the woman he loves. EJ wants his signature on a binding contract and steps away to prepare one ... Kate, Lucas and Roman discuss Julie's plan to restore the house to its old days of glory. Kate asks Lucas what he plans to do when he is free. He has doubts he will ever be free. Mama Kate gives him a pep talk ... - Steve sarcastically suggests they make Clyde vanish into thin air. John gets an idea ... Tripp and Wendy's cries go ignored. Tripp tells her the vents acre closed. Tis tragic. The air is running out ... Lucas teases Kate about her Audrey Hepburn hat and thanks them for the visit. Roman and Kate give him a hug and assure him he will be free soon. Smart Lucas, however, fears once Clyde is out of the picture he could be sent to Statesville ... EJ signs and smugly gives Stefan the pen. Stefan scoffs Stefano would not approve but EJ begs to differ. His help comes at a cost. Stefan takes the pen and signs as drums play. EJ feels like the man of the hour. Stefan gives him a murderous look ... Ava wonders what comes next. John and Steve will be needing equipment and John informs her they will need that help from the Vitali family to make the mission work ...
