Ciara returns to the loft and excuses herself to shower post workout. Tripp wants to talk about last night ... Eric gasps to Hope at the station about Xander. Eric has not forgotten about Nicole and warns her if Xander does not depart the town he might kill him ... Xander is smug in his swimsuit when he greets Justin, who is less than thrilled to have him at the Kiriakis family mansion ... At the square Lothario Leo informs Will he is suing Sonny ... Adrienne and Sonny show Justin Leo’s shocking lawsuit. Sonny insists Leo resigned and believes it is an error. Justin the lawyer calls it legit. Sonny suspects someone of playing a joke. Justin shows him Leo’s signature. Sonny cannot believe it. Adrienne snarls the creep set him up ... Will warns Leo he could slug him! Kate acts horrified when she joins them. Leo accuses the Spectator of trying to bury his story and leaves to find another reporter. Will is furious for poor Sonny ... Eric demands Hope send Xander straight back to the slammer. Hope is sorry to say his case is entirely in the jurisdiction of the Greeks. She senses Victor pulled some strings. Jen arrives looking anxious and informs them Trask has accepted a plea bargain. The judge is considering as they speak. She cries on Eric’s shoulder, still worried about the outcome ... Tripp assumed he and Ciara were having a nice time. She agrees they were and tries to make light of her behavior but he knows she has been avoiding him. She remembers remembering Chase. Tripp hopes she is alright. She gazes at him and says there was nothing. Tripp thinks he might have made a wrong move. She gushes they are great but she is late and suggests he head to work. Then she returns to her room and shuts the door ... Abigail and Chad appear at the station, relieved the judge agreed to the deal, no prison sentence. Abigail then hauls Chad into a room and tells him she knows what he did ... Sonny denies pressuring Leo and laments he did not know Leo worked at Titan when they were first together. Then Leo quit so they could be together ... Will calls Sonny about Leo being at the square. Sonny is on his way but Justin wishes he would not go near the cad. Adrienne wants something done to protect her son ... Ciara weeps in the loft all alone. Knock knock! Tis mama Hope, who updates her on the news that Abigail has been spared of prison. She also sighs it seems Xander is out of prison probably cos of Victor. She shows her his mugshot and tells her to turn away if ever she sees him. Ciara is clearly stressed and complains about Tripp’s concern. Hope can see something has upset her daughter. Ciara blames Julie for ruining her almost night of romance ... Chad does not deny going to the D.A to make a deal. He has no regrets as he and Thomas love and need Abigail. She accepts his explanation and they embrace ... Justin warns Adrienne that Leo is after a great amount of money. Adrienne gets herself all worked up. Justin urges her to breathe. The legal eagle warns Leo’s team claims they have concrete proof including texts and video. Adrienne rages about the sexual harassment suit. Swimsuit Xander appears and leers it looks like he came back in time since Sonny has not been behaving ... Sonny stops by Will at the square, sighs it makes no sense, and goes to confront Leo nearby. Will sighs it makes lots of sense. Not everyone in the world is a good person like Sonny. He sits with Kate, still complaining. She needs a drink but changes her mind when Tripp asks what she would like. She leaves and Will babbles. Tripp babbles he believed he and Ciara were becoming a couple until last night ... Ciara claims to Hope that she got over Julie’s dire warning and had a wonderful time with Tripp. They kissed. Pause. Hope urges her to continue. Ciara states then Chase got into her head cos Julie put him there. Hope tenderly tells her it seems she is not over it ... Adrienne is creeped out by Xander, who boasts he is the best man to run Titan as Sonny cannot keep it in ... Justin rages at him to scram and warns he will come after him with a tire iron. Adrienne offers to get it ... Leo denies any involvement with Vivian and insists he acted alone. Sonny woefully wonders what changed ... Kate is having a martini at the club and is pleased to see free woman Abigail with Chad. Chad invites her to join them and she hears about the judge agreeing to Abigail starting therapy. She alludes to her own legal woes due to Vivian. Chad points out that was self-defense! Kate smiles a nervous smile ... Leo announces he did this of his own accord and accuses Sonny of pushing. Sonny knows better but Leo now brazenly lies that Sonny made him get physical with him on the desk. Sonny talks letter of resignation and Leo leers he does not have one. Now realizing he has been had, Sonny morphs into Kiriakis mode and issues him a not so subtle warning! Cousin Will has to remind Tripp that he does not remember much about Ciara the nice girl. He suggests Tripp talk to her. He tried! Will thinks he should try again ... Hope hugs Ciara and likens Tripp to good guy Steve. Ciara wants him to keep seeing her as someone strong. The Chase story would make him change his mind. Hope disagrees. Ciara does not want to be perceived as weak. Hope asks her to talk to Marlena. Ciara insists she put the Chase incident behind her. Hope doubts it. Ciara freaks out and angrily agrees to speak to someone if only to get them all off her case. Hope wishes she could ease what happened but it is not possible. The best way to put something in the past is to communicate. Ciara is sorry she was rude. Hope smiles she will always love her. Violins play as Ciara whispers she loves her too. Then she cries on her shoulder ... Kate notes the Vivian incident was an accident and the police have let her know already she shall not be blamed. She refers to the time Gabby hit her on the head. Abigail has a sudden flashback of that scene with Kate when she was Gabby the siren. She gasps she can remember and is so sorry for what she did to Kate and to Marlena. Chad supports his wife and Kate hopes her therapy will go well. Exit Kate. Abigail questions whether her and Chad’s marriage will make it through ... At the pub Eric and Jen toast to Abigail’s freedom. Eric excuses himself for a delivery out back. Here comes Xander hounding Jen about Eric playing the hero. Jen hisses to leave them all alone cos unlike him Eric is a good meaaaaaaaan. Xander compares her to Nicole and calls her Eric’s second choice. Eric returns and rages at him to leave her be ... Outside Chad puts his arms around Abigail and assures her they will weather this storm together. Her eyes are troubled as they embrace ... Eric orders Xander out of the pub. Xander leers he has not seen the last of him ... Leo updates boss lady Kate at the park on doing as ordered. After Kate takes over at Titan and gives him his payoff he will be set for life. So he thinks ... Back at the Kiriakis mansion Sonny is happy about Abigail and livid at Leo. Adrienne is sympathetic and states it was not his fault. Sonny sighs he was so desperate to get over Will he fell for the first creepy con artist who came along ... Back at the loft Ciara is not taking Tripp’s endless calls, her eyes filled with tragic tears ... STAY TUNED |
