Melinda suggests Gabi had motive whereas Gil did not know Li. In her opinion Stefan has circumstantial evidence and she suggests he leave. Stefan is crestfallen ... - Maggie is nice to Teresa and Bonnie teases how rich Alex is. Maggie worries the money might change Alex and heads off to speak to him ... Bonnie teases Teresa she used to be just like her and warns her to avoid creepy Konstantin ... Rafe argues the DiMeras have endless resources. Eric realizes he thinks someone helped Sloan up and vanish. Rafe now suggests EJ and Nicole uses the DiMera resources to try and track Sloan - and decides to depart. Rafe tells him it will be better in time ... Nicole decides EJ was right and decides to forget about Sloan, make Jude their focus. EJ is having the nursery rebuilt and now brings up work. She would rather stay with Jude and decides to have a chat with Chad about mat leave. EJ insists she enjoy the days ahead. Alas she feels for unhappy Eric. EJ lies so does he and suggests she focus on their son ... - Alex gets angry about the condition of the rundown stables and is having an architect rebuild. Maggie warns no construction until after her and Sara's weddings. Alex hopes he and Teresa will be invited ... Rafe shows up at Melinda's new office to grill her about missing pal Sloan ... Maggie tells upstart Alex that there are boundaries. She refuses to humor his every whim and warns Victor would not approve of him disrespecting his wife. Alex gets arrogant and suggests he will modernize the mansion. She quips he is only playing heir and goes on her condescending way ... Melinda is mortified to hear of Sloan's vanishing and suddenly realizes she must have accepted EJ's help. She acts shocked when Rafe tells her about the baby switch. He reminds her they should be on the same side since she is D.A. so she proceeds to pontificate about justice ... Stefan storms into the mansion, mad that EJ never reopened Gabi's case. He is stunned to hear the baby in the living room is EJ and Nicole’s son, who was stolen by Sloan. He is happy for them and notes no one has the right to break up a family. EJ smugly suggests the Universe makes miracles happen and holds Nicole close ... Eric heads home alone in his sorrow. How he misses hey Jude. He clutches his toy and admires his picture.
