At Kiriakis mansion Victor waits for Sonny to explain himself ... Ari wins a game against Will post park and fun face painting. He suggests some ice cream. Then he piggy backs her to the door where Lucas has knocked. Lucas grabs his granddaughter in a hug. Will wonders whether there is news. Lucas does have something to say. They step out and leave Ari putting the game away. Lucas gushes Gabi is coming home as her conviction is overturned. Meanwhile Gabi is confronted by her prison enemy who taunts she is trouble ... Mateo refuses to reveal where Chloe is when Paul and John demand to know. He leers at the gringos and gets his men inside the room. John and Paul are outnumbered. Mateo warns them drop the weapons or die ... Brady is ready to reveal his choice to Theresa and Eve ... John and Paul are disarmed. John growls the goons were tipped off. Mateo credits an anonymous associate. John reasons they are here for Chloe not him. Murderous Mateo gives his murderous men a command and decides no deal ... Brady praises Theresa for some of the past. But Eve is now close to Tate! Eve unhappily interrupts, having made up her own mind on the matter ... Victor praises Sonny for his latest acquisition. Sonny sighs he screwed up ... Will stops Lucas from telling Ari the good news ... Gabi’s enemy leers the guard is on smoke break. Gabi promises to stay out of her way. Her enemy rages Rafe must have pulled some strings and she wants revenge. She hisses she is headed home in a body bag ... Eve wants to do the right thing and remove herself for Tate’s sake. She believes Tate deserves a family and he comes first. Brady notes her needs count as well. Eve thanks him but Tate is first. She laments she loved their time together which only happened as Theresa was gone. Theresa agrees and hugs her in thanks. Brady frets and refuses to leave. Eve gives him a look of longing ... Victor fumes that Sonny slept with his assistant. Sonny assures him he was unaware he was an employee at the beginning. He is sorry and laments he was looking for love after losing Will. Victor feels he has no choice and fires him on the spot ... Will insists they wait for Sonny before telling Ari. Lucas tells him to text him ... Gabi gasps she is going home to her daughter. She cannot buzz for help ... John warns Mateo he is ISA so give him the girl and they will go. Mateo leers he cannot touch him and will not allow the ISA have Chloe or know she is alive. He sarcastically refers to their heroism and offers to let them choose whom he shoots first ... Brady wants a word with Eve so Theresa scurries back to the house. Eve sadly tells Brady she is certain. Brady suspiciously wonders what Theresa said. Eve believes a child needs both parents and she urges Brady to accept this. He remembers his promise not to hurt her. She denies he did anything to hurt her. The truth just came back with Theresa the brave who does not deserve to be punished for putting her family’s safety first. Eve cries she has to make this sacrifice for Brady, Tate and Theresa. Their tragic eyes lock ... Sonny gets a text from Will and repeats to Victor how sorry he is for his slip. The Greek calls him naive and must summon the board for an emergency meeting. Sonny texts Will he is en route and goes as Theresa arrives to talk to Victor. The Greek tycoon asks why so glum if she got what she wanted by Eve giving up. He senses she is hiding something ... Mateo taunts he can kill Paul first and gets a protective response from John. He smiles this must be his son. Paul tells him to shoot him first. John begs him to leave his boy alone and offers to give him intel on his competition. Mateo starts to order his men to finish them and then falls down, having been stabbed in the back by Chloe in an opera worthy moment ... Victor demands Theresa start talking. She cries it is about Chloe ... Paul and John jump up and overpower the remaining men. John praises Chloe but Mateo’s overpowered men warn her she will never escape alive after killing El Fideo ... Sonny happily greets Ari. Will asks if he is alright. He will be. Will announces to Ari mommy is coming home and they both hug their daughter who lets out a yay ... At the infirmary Gabi seems to have been choked unconscious and slumps to the floor ... Brady hates this is how it has to end. Eve assures him she will be alright alone again. She will keep busy with Basic Black. He takes a deep breath and she tells him to go. She hands him back the ring and he wishes she would not. He starts to say what he was going to tell her but she stops him and sends him on his sad way. Then she shuts her eyes. Brady woefully walks away ... Sonny spends fun time with Ari. Will asks Lucas to take Ari and her cat face to the kitchen for ice cream. He asks Sonny how he fares. Sonny sighs and updates him on Leo the liar targeting him when he was weak. Will calls him a good person not weak. Sonny hangs his head as Will suggests Titan settle. Sonny fills him in on Vic firing him. Will is sympathetic ... Victor is baffled by Theresa’s new story. She confesses Chloe was Mateo’s new hostage, hence her opening to flee. El Fideo threatened to kill her loved ones if she said anything. Victor suggests she leave Chloe cos she deserves what she gets. Theresa cries Brady could find out. Victor promises no one will know. He will never speak a word of it. Brady walks in and wants to know about what. He eyes the pair with suspicion ... Eve sits all alone as violins play and weeps for her lost love ... Victor lies Theresa was telling him not to act gleeful about Eve. Brady seems to believe him. Victor now gets a call and asks for privacy. Brady walks into the foyer with Theresa, who asks about Eve. She is unhappy as is he. She smiles they should go upstairs to Tate together and so they do ... Will and Sonny lock eyes for a moment in time. Lucas comes back with Arianna. Will asks him to keep him posted on Paul and John. Lucas will and leaves with a grin. Sonny thanks Will for his support and for letting him be here with Ari. Will gushes they are family. He now gets a long distance call from Paul, who is happy to hear his voice. He tells him they have Chloe and are coming home from the harrowing mission. Will missed him so much and cannot wait to see him. Sonny overhears and his eyes fill with tears ... Chloe calls Lucas long distance. He was worried and is pleased to hear Paul and John helped her escape. He cannot wait until she comes home. She promises she will come home to him ... Back at the infirmary Gabi coughs and wakes up but her attacker lies motionless on the floor with a needle in her neck. She whispers noooo. Here come new charges... STAY TUNED! |
