MISSIONS GONE WILD! - At the loft, replay of Rafe clarifying to Sami that he is going along with Nicole to make sure she cannot use anything against her. He will either get that camera back or neutralize it! Sami reminds him she made copies of the video. Rafe drawls the fact that they have something she wants - Sydney - can buy them time. Besides, when she is with Sydney and therefore distracted, that is when he will make his move! Sami does not wish to use Sydney as a pawn. Rafe assures her he will not let them out of his sight. They cannot go on this way. Sami reluctantly goes to get Sydney. Rafe makes a call. He has an FBI kinda favor -to stop something from going viral before it does and also distract the DiMera thug watching him. Sami returns with the news that Syd is ready to go. However, she is not going! Once Rafe and Syd are gone, Sami updates Will, seeking the surprised teen's assurance that he does not think Nicole will get her baby away from her again. She appreciates his support. Even Stefano called him a young man of substance. He gives her hope. If she has a great kid like him, she cannot be all that bad. Will praises her for her strength and fighting spirit. She admits Nicole scares her. However, Rafe promised he would keep an eye on her. Will is sure he will. Sami worries Nicole could turn Sydney against her. Will insists the visitation will only be short term and Rafe will not let it happen. Besides, Sydney already knows she is a great mom. She chuckles she is not. He retorts the kids decide that and she hugs him, moved to tears. He hopes she is okay cos he actually has a math test. She ushers him out. He reminds her that Rafe has it all under control and departs. - At DiMera mansion, EJ sits at his computer, thinking "Desperate times call for desperate measures." He now places a call to prepare the jet. He is leaving for Switzerland and adds he does not need fatha to find out. Enter Lexie. "What about your sister?" She did not hear the deets, lucky for him! The mood is light. EJ has something for Theo - the first pound sterling he ever earned as a boy, for stacking groceries. His stepfather had persuaded him to keep it. Lexie wonders why he wants to give it to Theo. To have something from him that does not represent who is now. Lexie lowers her voice. "Are you saying goodbye?" He denies it and makes light of it. Lexie becomes interested in the phone call she walked in on, but then gets paged away to an emergency. She still wants to talk to him and says so, though she must now leave. Once alone, EJ sighs. "I lied. That was goodbye." He has his packed bags - and the children's bags - taken to the car and smirks he will enjoy soon telling Samantha all about his plans! Later, he is on the phone, angrily ordering the jet to be prepared right away! He takes one long last look at the grand DiMera living room as Stefano's portrait watches over him, and decidedly walks out. - At the pub, Bo assures Jen that Hope and also he would love to have her back for good, but he suspects Jack has pulled something. What was it this time? Jen's pretty blue eyes are filled with pain. "This time he's left me." He bought a tent for only one person and went on a long walkabout alone! Bo thinks that is not bad but Jen is exasperated. Bo agrees he is a jerk, though that kinda goes along with being a guy. Jen is miffed. Bo suggests he might realize he made a mistake and come back. Would she give him another chance? Jen sighs. She cannot go through this again. Bo calls him a jerk. Jen asks him to keep this to himself. He agrees and asks her to take care of herself. She thanks him and adds she thinks he is sometimes a jerk too. Bo grins. "The more people Hope has on her side, the better." Jennifer takes her leave. - In prison, replay of Carly sadly informing Hope that Bo is unhappy she is in there. Hope thinks he feels guilty. Carly, however, states they both know it is more than that. Hope would like to know what she thinks. At the least, explains Carly, Bo respects her and is worried about her. Hope retorts no one seems to understand how she feels - that she deserves this punishment. Carly does. And if Hope does not believe Bo respects her, she should ask herself why he would have sent Carly there! Hope had presumed it was to pass her intel. Was there more to it? Carly points out he could have had her transferred somewhere, but instead sent her. He continues to back her up and wants her to start fighting back. Hope smiles she is glad to know it. Carly adds he is on her side. Hope refers to the fact that she is helping him back her up. Carly states he is doing the right thing, hence her support as well. Hope is grateful. Carly thinks they should act like pals for the guards. Hope explains they know her history. Carly gets it.When the big guard comes back, she states it was good talking and she hopes they can do it again soon. Lee later summons Hope to do some data entry. She mentions her visitor. Hope acts disinterested and laments she misses her job. "What about you? What's your background?" Lee hastily excuses herself. - At the house of Kiriakis, Nicole tells herself not to get emotional. She feels she has made headway with Sami and Rafe, though she plans to do much more than just visit with Sydney. She could also bring Sami to her knees! She toasts Arianna and thanks her for the smoking gun. Ding dong! Tis Rafe with a little surprise. Nicole is elated. "Sydney!" Rafe enters and announces the ground rules. EJ cannot know about this and they set the schedule, so she cannot drop by. If she bends the rules or breaks them, it is over. Nicole agrees and takes the tot in her arms. Rafe spies the booze and adds no drinking during visitor hours! He acts like he disagrees with the whole thing anyway. Nicole advises him to go home and sits with Syd on the sofa, playing. He retorts he is staying! Nicole busies herself with little Syd. Rafe spies her computer on an elegant table nearby. He blinks, then tells her she is good with the child. He sits and implies she might feel sorry for Sami, given how EJ has done horrible things to her as well. Nicole doubts it. Rafe warns her not to let EJ anywhere near Sydney or Sami. How about they put stuff behind them, for Sydney's sake, and start trusting each other? Nicole laughs at the notion. Rafe glances back at the computer and admits he is protective of Sami. Nicole plays with Syd and asks him to hand her the diaper bag. He does. Nicole is now immersed in what she is doing. Rafe steps away, saying he needs to make a phone call. He sneakily pulls out a small device he got from a contact that will delete files forever. Rafe stands in front of the computer, pretending to talk on the phone to a buddy, and inserts the device, ready to delete the video of Sami ... - At the hospital, Jen and Lexie have a happy reunion. She explains she is in town as the executor of Alice's estate and also to see Hope. She asks after Maggie. She is not there. Lexie suggests she try Chez Rougge. She will. Lexie now introduces her to Dr. Ben Walters, then gets pages away. She will call her about lunch! Ben is delighted to meet the fair Jennifer. He gushes the Hortons are just like hospital royalty. She smiles right back. He shakes her hand and she suddenly stares at the band around his wrist. "Oh, you gotta be kidding me! Not you too!" She knows that is from a walkabout. She coolly defines a walkabout and how long it can take. Ben is impressed but Jen is not. She calls it laughable that a grown man would leave everyone behind to go and find himself. "Whatever floats your boat, buddy!" She storms off, leaving behind a baffled Ben. - Carly updates Bo at the pub. He is preoccupied with Hope and thinks it is good she has something to focus on. He intends to get her even more info on Lee. He steps out to make a call. Carly murmurs she knows things are not really over between Bo and Hope. "Not even close ..." - Back at the prison infirmary, the warden checks up on Hope, who asks her about her background. How did she end up there? She just wound up there after college. Hope asks about Lee. The warden knows only she is a trustee and she has been there long. She sure knows her way around the infirmary, though. Exit the warden, Hope muses Lee is keeping her past a secret! - Back at Nicole's, Rafe deletes all the files in her computer forever. He smirks victoriously and turns around, only to see the telltale camera in Nicole's open purse on another table ...! - Back at the loft, Sami has an unwelcome visitor. Tis EJ. He wishes to speak to her. He prevents her from shutting the door."I want to see if we can bury the hatchet," he claims. She is not interested. He suggests they try and co-exist. They must be civil for the sake of their children. Sami gets mad at him for not honoring the restraining order. Ring ring! Sami has a call - from EJ's thug. "Hello? Hello? Who is this?" EJ silently creeps up behind her and places chloroform over her mouth. She struggles but he soon renders her unconscious, carrying her to the sofa. A chilling scream is heard. EJ turns around with a start, only to come face to face with a terrified Ally ...! Next on Days of Our Lives "You are never ever gonna find what you're looking for!" Nicole tells Rafe. "If Maggie left without telling anybody, then something's really wrong!" Mel warns Brady and Victor. Vivian taunts Maggie. "Soon you won't even be able to remember your name!" |
