Rafe takes action, Nicole changes her tune, Mel/Nath conflict! - Replay of EJ knocking Sami out with chloroform, dumping her on the sofa, Ally coming out and screaming. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" EJ blinks and pretends she is asleep. Ally wants her to wake up. Elvis retorts she needs a nap and places a blanket on her. He makes small talk with the child. Johnny runs out and climbs all over him. "Why is mommy asleep?" She was not tired before. EJ asks Ally to get some of her work from the other room and she scurries off. EJ pretends mommy needed to rest. Johnny asks daddy where he has been. He promises they will be spending lots of time together from now on and lifts him up. Johnny giggles, elated. Meanwhile, Sami "sleeps." EJ tells Johnny they are going on an adventure. Johnny explains Sydney is not there, as Rafe took her somewhere, though he knows not where. EJ orders him to go get his things. Elvis angrily places a call and demands his goon find out where Rafe Hernandez is pronto, cos he has only one chance! After the call, EJ starts to sweat. "Now what am I going to do?" Sami starts to stir. Johnny runs out, all ready. EJ informs the lad there has been a change in plans, as it is too late and also a school night. He hugs him, promises to come back, and sends him off to play. He glances at Sami. "I'll be back. Promise." Exit EJ. - In the sarcophagus, Maggie twitches and gasps, then assures herself that there are no bugs. It is airtight and nothing can get in. She hyperventilates, realizing nothing can get out either! All of a sudden, Viv coos and tells her that Gus is contacting Victor on her behalf, to make it appear she left town without saying goodbye. Maggie insists her loved ones will not believe it. Madame Viv insists they will. She taunts her about the toxic paint fumes she personally chose. "Color me cuckoo." She will soon lose her mind! And she will not even remember her name. Maggie gets even more tense. - At the pub, Nath meets Steph for a sandwich. He is covering for Daniel, who is busy with his baby. Caroline is glad to hear he is bonding with his boy. Dr. Nath gets a call and steps away. Steph thinks he looks upset. Caroline warns he will be more upset if he finds out Phillip is the father! "You promised you'd keep quiet for now." Steph laments she needs to figure out what to do. Like the right thing. Caroline insists SHE did the right thing with the test switching! Moments later, Nathan walks back, looking perplexed, and he bears strange news. Victor got an email from Maggie stating she was on a cruise and does not know when she will be back from her endless travels ... Nath is baffled she would take off like that before checking with them about their upcoming wedding date ... Caroline dismisses his concern. Worried Nath would like to postpone the wedding until she returns. Steph agrees. Caroline gives her a look. Once Nath has departed, Caroline warns her not to let the cat out of the bag until she has nailed him down. Steph snaps she is not desperate. If the truth comes out, so be it. Steph seems to have gotten her self-respect back! And she knows what she has to do, despite what Caroline says ... - At the hospital, Brady arrives to see Chloe and shares with Mel how he heard she delivered the baby. Chloe is asleep so he starts to leave. Mel wonders why he looks ready to jump out of his skin! Victor appears and informs them of Maggie's odd cruise email. Mel states she did not leave her a to-do list, plus it would not be like the responsible redhead to leave without telling anyone. Something is wrong! She leaves her a voice mail and notes her message has not changed. Brady points out Maggie had advised him the best thing to do, as a recovering addict, was to stay away from Victor. Perhaps she took her own advice. Exit Brady. Mel soon attends to a patient who just returned from Guatemala and has a fever. Enter Dr. Nath. Mel asks where he has been. He places on his gloves. The doc soon writes the patient a prescription for antibiotics and points out the pain killers will help. He wants tests run. Mel haughtily replies she already did it, while they were waiting. Nath takes her aside and orders her not to use that tone with him in front of a patient, but she informs him he did not come when she paged him! The patient lies down and groans. Mel reassures him. Nath calls her a good nurse. And he heard about her delivering Chloe’s baby. Mel just hopes Steph won't tell anyone that Chloe cheated, cos papa Dan sure loves his baby ... - At the house of Kiriakis, replay of agent Rafe deleting all of Nicole’s computer files, only to realize Nicole has the camera. He makes a remark about not letting Sydney play with it and Nicole smirks she made backup copies anyway. She wants to take her to see Santa. She asks Rafe if she could have Sydney on Christmas eve and Thanksgiving. He lazily reads a magazine and retorts he doesn't think so. Nicole warns Sami could be put behind bars, just like EJ, should her evidence come out. Rafe drawls her plan could backfire, like always. Nicole claims this was meant to happen as Sydney plays with her. He thinks the baby might need a change. Nicole carries her off to do it herself. Rafe reaches forward and grabs the pink camera off the table. Nicole comes back and smirks that camera is only for her visits with Sydney. He had better smarten up cos he will never find what he is looking for! She hastily snatches back the camera and warns Rafe she holds all the cards. "Get the hell out!" He agrees. But if he goes, Sydney comes too. Nicole disagrees. Enter Brady and he would like to know why she is holding Sami's baby. Nicole grudgingly hands her over to Rafe as Brady watches. Nicole smiles and lies Rafe is trying to broker a truce between her and Sami. She bids Syd goodnight. Outside the door, Rafe gleefully informs Syd that if Nicole plugs her camera into the laptop, it will delete everything! Inside, Nicole gets to her laptop and cries "That s.o.b.!" Brady wants to know who she is referring to. And she had better be straight with him! She pretends she got a virus copying a video from the station. Brady warns her not to try and make a copy as the original could self-destruct. She takes it all in. He notices the scratch on her head and she claims she ran into a cabinet. They now talk Syd. Nicole explains she asked Sami if she could see the baby now and then. So Rafe came by with her. "She remembers me, she still loves me." She adds Rafe and Sami wanted to work something out, but now she wonders if they were just playing her ... - Back at the mansion, EJ tells off his inept man on the phone, livid to hear Rafe took Sydney to see Nicole. He then considers the info, deciding that Rafe would have only done so if he had no choice. He pours himself a good stiff drink. Ding dong! Tis Nicole. He lets her in and sarcastically snaps "What can I do for you?!" Nicole announces she is there to do something for him! - Rafe returns to the loft, where Johnny whispers mommy is asleep. Rafe wants to know what happened. Johnny, still holding his penguin, whispers daddy said she didn't feel good. Rafe becomes concerned that EJ was there and tries to wake Sami up! After putting the kids in the other room, he comes back just as Sami opens her eyes and tells her she was passed out. Sami is confused. The last thing she remembers is someone knocking at the door. She also feels queasy. "EJ chloroformed you!" Rafe deduces. - Back at the hospital, Mel coolly tells Nath she will have the samples sent to the lab and asks him to let her know if he hears anything about Maggie. Nath gets impatient, then wonders if she really believes Steph would say something about Chloe to get back at her. Mel says she would indeed. Nath makes a snide remark about crossing her and Phil off their guest list. Mel retorts she will have her schedule changed so they won't have to worry about working together anymore! - Meanwhile, Viv taunts Maggie with talk of food and drink. The redhead cries to leave her alone and quivers that someone will find her. "Please oh please find me ..." - At the loft, Sami groans "EJ did this to me!" Rafe updates her on the intel he got from the two kids.. EJ told Johnny they were going on an adventure but changed his mind, as Sydney was nowhere to be found. Sami is relieved he had Sydney with him. Rafe admits they got lucky and assures her it will not happen again. They both now realize EJ could have been long gone with both children. Rafe will not take any more chances. He makes the call to have Commander Roman pick EJ up! - Back at the mansion, EJ wants to know why Nicole is there. She takes a seat and smiles, remembering the good old days when they were with Sydney. She loved her with all her heart, just as he does, and that did not change. What if she could convince him that she could get him both his children back? Elvis dramatically replies then he would give her anything her heart desired. Nicole elegantly nods. "Good, because I could hand you Sami Brady on a silver platter!" He peers at her, ready to listen ...! |
