Thursday, November 18, 2010 up at 4:30 pm est, November 17 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH! - At the loft, replay of EJ offering to tell Bo what they are doing! Bo growls the kids are nearby, which means that he is in violation of the restraining order. "Why don't you leave now!" EJ retorts first he would like to show him something and holds up the camera. Bo warns him to leave the premises. EJ insists after he see this clip, he will want to arrest his lovely niece. Bo takes him aside. He will have to show him what is on the camera another time cos if he does not leave pronto he will drag him out in handcuffs and the kids might see. EJ glares at Sami and saunters out. Sami thanks Bo. He wants a word with Rafe concerning a case he is working on. Sami smiles about catching bad guys and says she will do the laundry. She walks into the other room. Once they are alone, Bo drops a bomb on Rafe. He KNOWS exactly what Sami has done! - At the hospital, Chloe admires baby Parker. Cheery Phil is back with a big beautiful gift box. Another one! Chloe is pleased that the baby appears to look him in the eye. She appreciates the organic baby outfits in the gift box and thinks Phil is sweet. She is glad things worked out and Dan loves his baby. Phil's face falls. He then gets himself together and points out the baby boy looks like his mom - and is lucky to have her. He praises her for being a tough cookie. She appreciates it. He appreciates she kept him out of it. They both repeat they only had the fling as they were drunk and felt angry. Chloe feels Phil would never give her up either, if the situation were reversed. "Damn straight," he drawls. Parker starts to cry. Phil now reassures him. He stops. Seems Phil has the magic touch! Chloe holds the baby and Phil admits he is ready to be a dad. Chloe agrees he would be a great one ... - At the pub, Steph touches Nath's face and exclaims he is burning up! He claims he is fine but how bad is what her grandma did? "Really really bad," laments Steph. She is soon distracted by nervous Nath popping aspirin. And his eyes are not focusing. He shakily stands up to get coffee, then collapses. Stephanie is at his side in an instant and yells for someone to call 911! - Daniel gets Mel to a bench and she whispers she feels mighty sick. Dan asks if she had contact with any patient who had a fever. She tells him of Mr. Rodriquez. Dan asks who the attending doctor was. "Nathan," she says weakly. Dr. Dan whips out his phone and pats Mel's sleepy head, his eyes filled with dread. Moments later, he asks her a few questions. Were she and Nath wearing gloves and a mask? Gloves yes, mask no, admits Mel. An ambulance is heard arriving. She is too weak to stand up so papa Dan carries her off to the paramedics. - Back at the hospital, Carly and Dr. Walters are hard at work, awaiting the analysis results. Carly is dismayed to hear that Mel and Nath attended to the toxic patient just before he died! Carly panics because Mel is her daughter. Ben explains he sent the pair home as they were arguing. They realize they must find them stat! Carly nervously leaves Mel a message to call her, then reaches Daniel. "No!" she murmurs. Steph arrives as Nath is wheeled in. Dr. Walters has bad news. He was exposed to a contagious patient who died. Ben orders nurse Maxine to test Stephanie and Melanie once she gets there. Phil is just coming out of Chloe's room and wonders what is going on ... - Later, when Sami is all alone, EJ confronts her at the loft. He has proof she tried to murder him. She stares at him defiantly and snaps she wishes she had succeeded! He taunts her that a jury would be displeased to hear a mother talk of the father of her children that way. He calls what she wanted to do cold blooded murder. She claims she was traumatized. He reminds her he was passed out, contemplating suicide. But he didn't do it. Unlike her! "You tried to murder me" he seethes. Sami snaps she wanted to break his cycle of evil. And then he tried to take her children but she stopped him. EJ interrupts he stopped her and now she is going to jail for a very long time! And he means it! She tells him the tape is inadmissible. She lists what he has done. EJ admits his evidence is inadmissible, unless he can find something to corroborate it! "I know where the smoking gun is!" She states there is no gun. He reminds her of the one she mentioned throwing in the Salem river. She denies it. EJ wonders what she would do if he produced in court the gun that he retrieved from the Salem river! - Dan soon brings Mel into the hospital. Docs Carly and Ben await. Phil is concerned. Dan advises him to stand back. Carly orders both patients placed in isolation. They will have their systems flushed and might try antibiotics but they still do not know what they are dealing with. Phil is horrified to hear that Mel is in such danger! In the waiting area, Steph and Phil talk. She admits she is scared. Phil is livid no one noticed the guy could be contagious. Mel and Nath should have been wearing masks! Steph gets mad at Phil and tells him to stop acting like he gives a damn. Phil replies Mel is his life. Steph alludes to the fact that she does not think that is always the case ... Dan and Carly emerge, unhappy to hear from Dr. Walters that they might not know what they are dealing with until later that night. Phil offers any assistance, including money, his private jet, Carly thanks him. Meanwhile, Nath and Mel lie in beds in isolation - in the same room ! - Bo has taken Rafe to the pub for a private chat. He warns Rafe that he and Sami are sitting on a time bomb. If what he suspects EJ has on that camera surfaces, Sami is toast! Rafe thinks he can do nothing to protect her. Bo explains he is wrong. He could marry her right away so he will not be forced to testify against her. Rafe drawls that settles it. He and Sami are getting married tonight! Caroline has overheard."You're what?!" Bo states they need privacy. Rafe quietly informs her no one can know. He must protect her from EJ's accusations. Caroline understands and gives her blessing. They hug. - Back at the hospital, Steph steals into sleeping Chloe’s room to look at the baby. Phil follows and asks what she is doing. Steph seems surprised he and Chloe are still friends, then apologizes for implying he did not care for Mel. She knows he does. Phil assures her it is okay and both their significant others will get well. Chloe stirs. Phil updates her on the very dangerous virus Mel and Nath contracted. Chloe is worried to hear that Dan may have been exposed as well. What about Parker? Phil calms her that the baby was not exposed. Nurse Maxine enters. The friends depart. Nurse Maxine wants to take the baby back to the nursery. "You certainly are not!" yells Chloe. The nurse just wants to keep him safe. She asks Chloe to trust her. Chloe sighs okay and woefully watches as Parker is taken away. - Out at the nurse's station, Dan has just been tested. Carly cries Mel and Nath will get through this. She is shaking like a leaf. Dan embraces her and promises her it will be fine. Enter Bo, who stops in his tracks upon seeing the pair in such a dramatic hug! He gingerly approaches and Carly hugs him. He just received her text. Carly laments Melanie and Nath are critical. They are in quarantine. She explains the urgent need to come up with anti-viral drugs fast and cries she wants her little girl ...! Dan has stepped away. Bo comforts her. He soon gets paged away by police business and asks Carly to call him when they know more. Dan rejoins her. He has been given a clean bill of health. Dr. Ben approaches bearing news. The CDC just got in touch. The virus has been isolated! - In quarantine, Nath explains to curious, confused Mel that the strangely dressed man nearby is Hazmat. They are in quarantine. She brings up Mr. Rodriguez. Why is he not there too? Nath informs her the patient died. Mel's eyes are filled with horror. - Back at the loft, Sami gets a call from Rafe. EJ warns her not to tell him he is there or she will be sorry! Rafe advises her not to answer the phone if EJ calls. Sami agrees, thanking him for the tip. He will see her soon and gets off the phone. EJ continues to taunt her about the gun he claims to have. She questions why he did not rub it in her face when Bo was there. He leers he has her life in his hands and he intends to "squeeze very very hard!" Sami cringes. - Back at the pub, Gaby remarks Rafe appears troubled. Can she help? Negative. He vows he will make sure EJ cannot hurt Sami like he wants to! He reminds her to get back to work. She does. Rafe now makes a call. "I need your help!" - Back in quarantine, Nath shakily gets himself and Mel a blanket. She whispers she is scared. He assures her the CDC will have an anti-viral drug flown in from Atlanta to help. Mel becomes more hopeful, jokes they seem to be stuck together, and gazes over at him ... - Back at the loft, Sami wants to know what victorious EJ wants. He gets coolly down to business. "You tried to take my life away from me and now I'm going to return the favor. And I'm going to succeed ...!" Next on Days of Our Lives "She's going to come after everyone we love!" Kate warns Brady. "Will you still love her when she's convicted of attempted murder?" Nicole asks Rafe. "Please don't do this, EJ. Please. I am begging you!" gasps Sami. |
