Paulina interrupts Rafe and Jada with news of the cupcake poison fiasco. She shows the card that arrived with them. Paulina asks Rafe to head to the hospital. He announces he is resigning and will return for his things later. He quips he will see Jada at home and leaves. Jada explains his hurt and the tense work dynamic. Paulina just wants the best detective so she can find out who done it. Stylish Kate flounces in with news ... - Chad gets mad cos Mark almost shot him and completely shuts down Cat's plan. She pouts again ... Gabi gushes she is here for JJ and his family anytime. She misses Abigail too and would love to sock it to Clyde if she can help in any way. JJ will consider her offer. She was glad to see him today and he feels the same way ... Javi bitterly recalls how he and Leo were in a beautiful place until now. Chad wonders who will play Mrs. Chad DiMera. JJ has an idea ... Javi flashes back to his first saucy meeting with man of his dreams Leo. He weeps and whips out his phone. Gabi returns to her office.
