EJ admits to Nicole the Salem PD have no lead on Dimitri and vows to bring him to justice. Devastated Nicole numbly notes nothing matters. She lost her baby ... Worried phone Sloan gets an update from Melinda on the healthy baby. She sighs Nicole must be crushed cos of the baby and blames herself ... Harris enters, gun drawn. Ava admits she shot her boss dead. Harris checks and confirms it. He deduces it has nothing to do with Li and wonders what went down. He tenderly takes stressed Ava's gun and she remembers how Gil wanted ... Supportive Harris wonders what ... Sloan gets off the phone and admits to returned Eric it was Melinda. They will have their son soon, Eric, however, heard her say someone would be devastated. Sloan was just feeling sorry for the bio mom and feels guilty. Eric consoles her ... - EJ cannot console Nicole. Holly arrives with pizza. Nicole is not hungry. Pushy Holly suggests a slice. Nicole snaps she is not hungry ... Chanel is sympathetic and suggests she and Johnny bring a nice dinner to EJ and Nicole. He loves the idea and he loves her too. They kiss in bliss ... Holly is sorry and leaves. Then she assures her she covered her slip to Eric and he bought it. Now he has headed to the hospital to check on Nicole ... Eric tenderly tells Nicole he came to see how she is ... Ava is pacing at the station when Harris rejoins her. He notes at least now Gil will not be able to harm her. She flashes back to the fiend warning if she shot him her son would die and tells Harris he still presents a clear and present danger despite being dead. He wonders how. Evasive Ava talks history. He assures her CSI is searching for clues to corroborate her story. Ava worries EJ will want to unfairly lock her up as he did to arch enemy Gabi ... EJ informs Chad that Nicole is having a hard time, hardly looked at him and snapped at Holly. Alas he knows not how to help her. Chad admits when he lost Abi he wanted to be left alone by the whole world. He suggests he give Nicole time ... Eric slowly sits and tenderly takes Nicole's hand, whispering he is so sorry. She asks the man of God why the Lord would let her carry her child, only to take him away. The former father gets tears in his eyes and says all they can do is believe in God's will and trust the ones who love them. Oooo He softly states she is not alone and hugs her. She sobs on his strong shoulder ... - Sloan feels guilty as sin. Melinda spins up a storm and argues Nicole does have a daughter ... Johnny praises fake unhappy Holly for her thoughtful pizza. She gushes she knows not what she would do without him and gazes up at the DiMera with stars in her eyes. Chanel gracefully returns and hopes she is not interrupting. She was sorry to hear about her mom and suggests she join them today as they take Nicole homemade lasagna. Johnny explains Nicole has no appetite now. Perhaps another day. He invites Holly to stay and hang out with them. She thanks him for making feel better but heads to her room. Chanel shares that the teen seems to be sweet on him ... Chad asks how EJ is coping. He fibs he is fine, then complains he could never even meet his little son. Chad can relate due to losing baby Grace before he even knew she was his. Alas there is no memory. EJ sadly states the son in his arms was a fantasy ... Sloan has the baby with his bottle and believes she is bonding. She is grateful to Melinda and they agree they are friends. Sloan is moved she made her dreams come true ... - EJ enters Nicole's room and sees her heartfelt hug with Eric, who explains he came to share his condolences. EJ thanks him and after he goes, he lets Nicole know he too is here for her ... whenever she is ready ... Harris has an update for Ava on Gil's criminal record including a drug offence, which made him dubious. Ava reminds him of her mob princess history. Harris is now summoned by CSI at her apartment. Once alone, Ava gets a call from Statesville and answers. A collect call ... Chanel saw Holly's goo goo eyes with Johnny. He calls her his little stepsister who recently admitted she had a crush on EJ. Chanel, however, has her doubts ... EJ updates Nicole on Chad coming and admits he did not call him as he did not want the loss to feel real. Nicole can relate and cries as he hugs her ... Melinda praises the gurgling baby and toasts to the beautiful family. She just hopes guilt ridden Sloan will not blow the plan ...
