ALMOST ...!

- At the mausoleum, Maggie sees tasered Victor and cries "No!" He tries to move, then looks up at Viv. "C'est moi." (it's me) She leers she is alive and kicking - in the flesh. "Very very bad news for you!" The Greek tycoon tries unsuccessfully to get up off the floor. He manages to sit up. Viv mentions the irony of a Greek tragedy and compares it to her own tale. "We could have had everything but you were enticed by a coupon cutting suburban siren!" Vic mutters that being with Maggie is way better than being with her under any circumstances! He tries to stand up and declares he will not let her do this. Viv suddenly raises a knife. "You can't stop me!" She is ready to attack and finish him off, but Brady enters and grabs her just in the nick of time! Maggie passes out. Victor finds the strength to open the sarcophagus.
- Julie and Doug are colorfully dressed to the nines (and they match!), visiting Hope in prison. She wonders if he has a message from Bo. Julie gets testy. What has Bo done this time? Both Doug and Julie perceive she
is upset. She tries to pretend she is not. They don't buy it! She seems nervous and closed off. Doug wants to know whether Bo has stopped coming. Hope explains she has seen him so much that Bo's visits have been restricted. Julie is mighty indignant that the prison does that. Hope points out they are generous in letting her see them this late at night. Julie accidentally mentions the holidays. Hope admits she is not certain what they will bring this year. At least Bo has cleared Ciara getting to see her
for Thanksgiving. Julie promises they will come too and sneak her some turkey! Hope sighs about the women in the prison who are less fortunate and have no one ...
- At the infirmary, the warden complains to Lee about all Bo's visits to Hope. She will keep those visits to a minimum! She should never have assigned an ex-cop to the infirmary. Lee wonders if she can't have her transferred, No, as that would simply call too much attention. The warden smirks. However, if said prisoner she stepped out of line, then she could
do whatever she wanted with her!
- Down at the pier. Elvis informs Nicole he will not let Samantha near Sydney, so why should he let her near his child? Cos she loves her and has proven it by choosing to help EJ get her back, says she. Elvis retorts Rafe and Samantha had no intention of allowing her in Sydney's life,
given the hell she put them through, so she came to him, hoping that HE would forget the hell she put him through! Nicole stands her ground. She loves Sydney and Sydney loves her. He should do right by the child. He vows to do just that and saunters off.
- Replay of the romantic wedding party arriving in the pretty forest, Ally spreading flowers. Sami approaches Rafe in her strapless wedding gown. "You look amazing." he gushes. Is she ready to get married? She smiles.
"I can't wait." They stand together and face the priest.. Will is holding Sydney. Gabi, Caroline and the other kids look on. The priest begins.
"We are gathered here today ..." All of a sudden, Sami starts to sob. She
is overwhelmed. Rafe wonders if he should not have done this, given how worried she is about losing Johnny and Sydney. Perhaps it was a bad idea. Perhaps they should focus on her kids first. Sami decides she will not allow EJ to take away this moment. "Whatever I face tomorrow, I want to face it as your wife." He seconds the motion, takes her face in his hands, and kisses her. Sami nods, determined to forge ahead. Johnny is pumped. Rafe lifts him and explains he is there for all her kids. If they ever need anything, they can come to him. "Let's do this!" They are soon ready.
The priest starts again. Even Gabi has become enthusiastic. The priest mentions the presence of God in the beautiful, unseasonably warm forest. But the most beautiful thing from God is love. Rafe would like to say how he feels about her. He remembers the safe house, how he had to live with her and then found out her secret - that she was pregnant. He was moved by her love and devotion to her kids, not to mention that she was drop dead gorgeous. Sami blushes. Rafe continues. He soon realized he was falling head over heels in love. She is stuck with him now. Will drawls he is stuck with them now too. Rafe is elated. "I love you guys!" He gets back to Sami. "Blue eyes, just want you to know that I feel like the luckiest man in the world because of you." She smiles and gazes up at him, stating he is her hero. No matter what trouble she gets into, he is there for her "no matter what it is."  And she started falling in love with him when she realized he loved and wanted to protect little Sydney even before she was born. She cries he is a tough guy with a big heart. She is lucky he chose to fall in love with her. "I promise you that I will always
be true to you, no matter what lies ahead. Thank you for loving me. No matter what happens, I know I couldn't get through it without you ..." Sami finishes and smiles at him. Rafe gets choked up with emotion. The priest explains what love is, according to St Paul, as past Rafe and Sami moments are shown. "Love never fails," the priest concludes. Sami and Rafe gaze at each other and hold hands.
- EJ returns to the mansion and calls out for Mary. Nicole follows him inside. EJ starts to open the mail and advises her to leave. She does not, but follows him into the grand living room, where he pours himself a drink. Nicole declares that when he turns and walks away, it is cos he is wrong and hates admitting it. He sarcastically reminds her not to bring up the past, as it makes him think of that pillow she carried to term. Nicole insists they were in love and they loved their child. He retorts their child died. She explains she did not feel he could handle it. And given how he
has conducted himself ever since, she knows she was right. "You went
off the rails." Elvis sits down and points out it was because his life was a lie. Nicole argues he is a DiMera, but he does not see clearly where his children are concerned. Sydney needs a mother and father's presence
and he needs her to help balance his overly emotional state. He doubts it, turns away, and drinks up. She insists she is right. Little Sydney will be devastated when he takes her away from her mother, yet the child has
also known her as her mother. She should be in the picture for her. EJ coldly states his children are more resilient. "Get out of my house now!" Nicole now understands. He is afraid of her becoming a part of HIS life, not Sydney's! EJ looks down, then calls her delusional. Nicole claims he
is afraid of how happy they once were. He calls her a parasite and laments it was only a dream world. Nicole claims she did not make a fool of him. She believes he wants to think she did it for the money, because he did
not want to accept she did it all for him. His love for his children is only a part of his happiness. If he does not change, he will end up lonely and sad. He warns if she keeps going with this, she will end up sitting on her ass outside! She wonders if that is the kind of father he wants Syd to have.
- Victor manages to open the sarcophagus as Brady holds Viv. Maggie's eyes are closed. "No!" he exclaims. He begs her to open her eyes. Viv leers she never will. Victor finds a pulse. "I need you! I love you!" The redhead's eyes flutter open. Viv cries out like a wounded animal. Victor thanks God. Maggie smiles he took his sweet time. He assures her she
will be fine. She whispers she thought she heard him say ... "I love you." He drawls "I did. I do." She loses consciousness again. Victor cries out "Maggie no!"
- Back at the prison, Doug asks Hope if she would like them to bring her anything for Thanksgiving. No. Just themselves. Prison guard Mimi  gives them a moment alone. Hope is surprised. Turns out Doug bribed big Mimi with a watch. He wanted some time alone. He stands up and hugs Hope. Guard Mimi later escorts Hope back to the infirmary, where prisoner Lee is working. Lee asks about the visit. Hope mentions she was with family and brings up Thanksgiving. She proceeds to ask Lee if her family ever visits. No, as they live far. "Where do they live?" wonders Hope. Lee suspiciously wants to know why she is asking! Hope claims she is sorry and did not mean to cross the line. She was just curious. Lee understands but reminds her the rule in the slammer is not to get close to anyone. She would hate to see her get hurt!
- Back at the forest, the priest proceeds to ask Rafe and Samantha if they take each other to have and to hold. They both say I DO. Meanwhile ...
- Back at DiMera mansion, EJ warns Nicole to leave, as the fire in the fierplace burns on. She makes a remark about his virtue being safe with her. She could help make his kids' lives happier. EJ does not wish to discuss and dismisses her, taking another drink. Nicole is certain he will not be able to forget what she said and he will think about this whether he wants to or not. She is ready to leave. He drawls she can keep telling herself as much. Ring ring! EJ answers his phone. "What about Samantha ...?" Pause.  "They're doing what? The children are there? They're watching this bloody thing?" He suddenly throws his glass against the wall as Nicole's eyes widen. "Son of a bitch!" he rages. "Damn! Damn that woman ...!"

BRADY
Do you hear what I'm saying to you, old woman?
VIVIAN
I'm sorry but if this old woman is taking a rap, everyone's going
down with me!

"You're not getting away with this, Lee," Hope mutters while holding
her phone.
Sami struggles with EJ in the forest. "You bastard!"
