Carly is of the opinion that Viv knows not of her secret daughter. And even though she will not be able to tell her daughter who she is, at least she will be close by, to look after her. Lawrence will not succeed in keeping her child from her any longer! They have a beer on the sofa and discuss. She admits she is terrified at the thought of getting close to her daughter and starts to open up. Lawrence was no longer himself when he made her give her baby away to that man. She had believed her baby would be okay away from Lawrence, "until he wanted her dead!" She shows Bo the pic of her beautiful baby. Bo lends her a shoulder to lean on as she recalls the sad story, how madman Lawrence became obsessed that she even thought of that b^tch out there, who was living proof of her betrayal. Carly cries, Bo hugs. She had to do it or else he would have killed her baby! Flashback to the stabbing scene. Bo understands. Carly laments it was all she could do to save her daughter. They later continue their convo as Carly holds a little pink doll that belongs to Ciara, but looks like one she gave her baby all those years ago. Bo warns Vivian will be interested to know why she has moved into her new place and promises to keep an eye on Carly. They talk of how important their daughters are to them. Moments later, Bo talks to Chelsea on the phone. He then explains to Carly that London is 6 hrs ahead and sometimes she calls him when it is her morning time. Carly admires how easily they speak. Bo points out it was not always easy for them. He thinks that tough as things might be at first, eventually the pull between parent and child will overcome all obstacles for Carly and her daughter. She thanks him for being in her corner, for his endless support ... - At DiMera mansion, Elvis barks desperate orders in his phone. The phoenix has overheard and smoothly states despite his efforts, he will not find Nicole. She is too formidable an opponent who has been three steps ahead of Elvis at every turn. EJ accuses him of cheering for the kidnapper. Stefano says he understands her as she thinks like a DiMera. Elvis rages, recalling how the pair of them never told him of his daughta. Enter Kate, who berates the son for threatening the father. They need to be on the same side! Elvis bitterly says Stefano is on Nicole's side and rages some more about the baby deception. Kate tells them to shut up. Enter Roman, who agrees. And he would like a search team to search the grounds, in case they find anything. EJ agrees. Roman also suggests he call off his goons as of now. Trigger happy goons would not be as effective as the police. EJ agrees to call them off. Stefano declares the cops have 24 hrs. Roman asks EJ to call Nicole and try to keep her on the line so they can trace it. Elvis frowns. The cops arrive and hand Roman Nicole's mugshot. Kate makes a snide remark so Elvis rages at fatha to get her out. He does just that. Roman asks EJ for a recent photo of Nicole Out in the hall, Stefano uses his phone to continue his own plan, as the last thing he wanted was a Brady in charge. Kate realizes that the phone of the phoenix is in fact command central. What would EJ think? Elvis overhears so Kate covers. She was considering giving them more space and adds she is sorry she did not stop Nicole. Elvis quietly replies it is not her fault and returns inside the living room. "Katherine, you are a magnificent liar," coos the phoenix. She wonders why he will not work with EJ. Stefano admits he wants two things - to get his granddaughter back AND to spend some time alone with Nicole. - Rafe informs Sami he has bad news as they confer outside. The D.A. never filed all the charges against Nicole, which means the FBI cannot arrest her, as it is considered a domestic matter. Sami is certain Nicole will leave the country tonight so they need to find her pronto! Rafe gets her to slow down for a moment and promises they will find Sydney. Sami quietly says at least they know she is safe and happy. After all, Nicole thinks Syd is her daughter and Syd thinks Nicole is her mother. Rafe wipes a tear from her cheek. Sydney belongs with her real mother, says he. He loves her. They will find Sydney cos she has the best mom in the world waiting for her. They hug on it. - Down at the pier, Gaby makes snide remarks, but refuses to say how she got the expensive bracelet. Nicole listens as Gaby calls her sister a druggie. Ari demands she tell her what she is up to, down at the seedy pier at night, suddenly wearing pricey jewelry. The sisters continue to bicker. Ari wants them to be friends. Gaby snaps then she should get clean and storms off, Ari in hot pursuit. Nicole emerges, tells Syd she is not the only one with dark secrets, as Ari is doing drugs at the pub. She will not miss this place, she decides, walking away with the now awake Sydney. - Ari follows Gaby to the pub. Moments after little sis storms upstairs, Rafe enters with bad news. Nicole has taken Sydney! Ari blames herself. And what if Brady, who still loves her, is helping the felonista? She cannot reach Brady and asks Rafe not to call Roman. No can do. He refers to Brady as one more casualty of Nicole DiMera. - At the pier, Sami walks and leaves a message for Nicole, begging her to return her baby. Along comes Brady, who remorsefully admits he was the one who posted her bail. Sami stares at him in disbelief. He says he knew not about the baby switch, yet he did know all along that Sydney was not hers. Sami slaps him. "How dare you! Who the hell do you think you are!" She rejects his offer of help and accuses him of being addicted to Nicole. - Sami joins Rafe at the pub, having come back from passing out flyers. Ari offers to take over. Sister Gaby comes downstairs all packed and announces she wants to go home. When Sami spies her bracelet, she grabs her wrist and demands she tell her where she got it! It belongs to Nicole. Gaby now learns the woman who claimed spouse abuse was in fact Nicole, running away with Sami's daughter. Rafe, Sami, and Ari have a hot lead ...! - Brady walks alone and leaves a desperate message for Nicole She must do what is right for Sydney, who deserves better than a life on the run. "Call me, please!" - Nicole checks into a Cleveland hotel room, pretending Syd is a boy. The tough lady manager warns her not to cause trouble and leaves them alone. Nicole has work to do! She goes shopping and buys hair dye. She removes her jewelry, takes a deep breath, and prepares to cut her hair ... - Back at the mansion, Roman informs EJ that Nicole could reach out to someone in her past. EJ was also wondering how Samantha is doing. Not well. Roman now considers the possibility that Stefano might know where Nicole really is. Elvis doubts it. Meanwhile, Kate asks Stefano if the father and son cannot work together. The phoenix thinks what Elvis needs more than anything at present is someone to hate, and not a sentimental papa. He adds he will find Nicole and then she will learn what it means to interfere with his family! - Back in Cleveland, Nicole smugly removes a towel from her head, revealing her new look with short, dark hair ...! Next on Days of Our Lives "You have nothing to worry about," Nath informs Mel. "Is Stefano behind this?" Sami asks EJ. Nicole faces mama Fay. "I have to take Sydney and get out of the country, and you're the only one who can help me!" |
