Stefan bellows at Harris and Jada to go look for the sob who did this to Gabi. Harris suggest he calm down. Stefan vows to get a great lawyer. Jada believes tis a good idea ... Rafe is exasperated to hear about the scheme and Rolf's involvement, how the idea was to screw over EJ ... Paulina offers EJ the deputy mayor position. EJ says no thank you. He would rather take back DiMera than be an administrator. Paulina points out now that Chanel and Johnny reconciled they are all like family. She praises him for being a man who gets things done and the negotiations continue ... Melinda is sincerely sorry and regrets she will never know if she and Li might have made it. Tripp gets a call that the cops are done at the apartment. Wendy hisses she is done here and they head home. Melinda cries ... Gabi argues Li wanted Stefan dead and deserved to lose those shares. Rafe is enraged she did not heed his warning to stay away from him and they argue. Gabi cries and begs her brother to save her from the slammer. He takes her hands and promises to help. He suggests obsessed lonely Li naming her as his killer could have been the result of his anger about the blackmail so there was motive. Gabi is surprised Rafe thinks Li might have hired someone to stab him in the back just to set her up. Rafe would need proof and promises to do his best. However, they would need a miracle to convince any court ... - Nicole is on a call with Sue, who sent a beautiful basket. She boasts EJ is now at his new job ... Rafe informs Jada and Harris he believes Gabi. Jada agrees they will follow the evidence and he gives her the knife for forensics. He hopes they will contain a second set of prints ... Stefan is now with Gabi and assures her he will not let anything bad befall her. She wonders who really offed Li ... Wendy wants to go back in the apartment in spite of the police tape and sobs at the scene. Tripp holds her ... Melinda hopes Li will rest in peace and weeps. Paulina appears and boasts there is a new D.A. in town ... Stefan assures Gabi that Belle will be able to help.
