Wednesday, October 10, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! Up by early afternoon October 9 FALLING APART ... - At the town square, Hope explains her position to a now silent Bo. She would prefer the trip another time and assures him she is still very much on board, even to go after the DiMeras. Bo somberly agrees it is not the right time to leave town. He is preoccupied. Hope wonders what exactly is troubling him. He sighs it is good for him to stay near the home front. Hope senses something. Bo finally admits ma Caroline requires his help at this particular time. He updates her on all the slips. Hope makes light of it until Bo laments she actually mixed up pop Shawn and Victor. Hope is stunned. She gives Bo a reassuring hug. “Something could be wrong,” she woefully whispers. - At the pub, Caroline and Gabi are hard at work. Abigail complains about not being able to communicate with Mel and asks Gabi what is going on. Gabi feigns ignorance and diverts her gaze. Abigail’s eyes widen. She suspects it was due to Gabi that her friend left town! Gabi keeps busy but Abigail suspects she cheated with Chad, whom she had a thing for. Gabi denies it. Reporter Abigail is certain she knows and keeps pressing … until she spies Nick and his bruised face at the counter counting cash. She wants to know what happened and immediately thinks it was the doing of Chad. Nick makes light of it. Abigail urges them to tell her what is going on. Chad must have been overly-protective about Melanie. Nick will only say that Chad is not in trouble and nothing happened. Abigail gets upset that they are in denial about the chaos. She yells her father is dead and she is trying to move on but they are coddling her instead of letting her! She storms out in a huff. - Chad is sitting unhappily alone outside on a bench, flanked by bushes and flowers. Kate approaches and exclaims she heard about him losing Melanie. She now mentions his father. Chad wonders what she is doing here anyway. Kate airily states she was walking by, that is all, and spied him all alone. Chad sarcastically notes she happened to be in the area. And why does she assume Stefano called him? Because he called EJ ... Chad bitterly quips he only calls when he needs something. Kate suggests her beloved phoenix might have wanted to avoid being hurt again. It boggles Chad’s mind that she is defending him after how he treated her. Kate admits she is fully prepared to do the penance, as she deserved it. Chad realizes she is still in love with him. Kate explains love is not like a switch one can turn on and off. Chad can relate. He wonders who will fall out of love first - him or her. She bets it will be him, advises him to take care, and waltzes off. - At the hospital, Billie suggests Dr. Dan talk to over-the-top Jen but he refuses, claiming he is not the one to help her. Billie asks him to call if he can at least think of something to help the widow Jen. She must leave for a meeting and he thanks her. Brady arrives in a rush and asks for room 435A. Down the hall but first the doc would like his help with Jen. “She’s unraveling!” They sit and discuss. Dan notes Brady has been through the same loss as Jen, though she keeps looking for a target. He implores Brady to check on her. Brady assumes Dan does not want to be her target and is therefore doing his damnedest to keep his distance. Dan confesses he is leaving town. “It is time for me to go!” Brady stares. Is he going to Europe to see Mel? He replies that is on his list. Brady now recalls how furious Jen was when he last saw her. Dan sighs Billie said the same about her today. According to Billie, it is due to her grief, hence his hope that Brady will talk to her. Brady suspects she will not want his help, but offers to go and try. Dan is most grateful. Exit Brady. Dan wrings his hands and then takes out his phone. Maggie approaches as he calls her phone. “Great minds,” she smiles. She came to talk holidays.One can never plan too soon! Hubby Victor is planning to take the Kiriakis yacht to the Greek islands for New Year’s. She, however, wants to stay in town and spend the holidays with her son. She suddenly realizes he looks like he is hiding something from her. Has he already made other plans??? - Nicole faces Jen at the door. Jen stares her down and demands to know what she is doing. Nicole reminds her she evicted her so she is leaving with her stuff. Jen enters and shuts the door daringly. She cannot go anywhere yet! Nicole does not wish to discuss but Jen demands to know where she is dragging off poor unsuspecting Daniel, her latest victim. Nicole gets sarcastic. Jen accuses her of playing dirty with him and wants to know her plan. Nicole thinks Dan is doing what he wants but Jen snaps he cannot even think straight because of her baby. It disgusts her that she is using her child but she will not let her use Daniel too. Nicole flashes back to learning she lost her baby and impatiently warns her to get out of her way. Jen blocks her path and exclaims she FORBIDS her to go anywhere with Daniel! Nicole taunts she sounds like she swallowed a Victorian novel and snaps she dumped him and has no rights. Jen hisses she is still his friend and she will not stand by and let her lead to his ruin. He could lose his medical license! She will stop her! Nicole laughs will she stand in front of her car? Jen leers she knows Nicole would run her over in a heartbeat and lie about it. But she will not hold onto Daniel with her manipulations! She gets even more upset about the baby and screams she will lose. Nicole explodes. “I already have! I lost my baby you bitch!” - Dan shows mama Maggie into his humble apartment and admits he has not told anyone he is leaving. Maggie assumes he is changing to another hospital. He elaborates. No, another town. She wonders who is to blame. He pretends no one is to blame, it is just time to move on. She is positive this is really about Jennifer. He admits it is. He is quitting so she can stay at the hospital. Maggie pleasantly suggests he go work at St Mary’s but he had something farther away in mind. She asks if this is due to Mel leaving. The redhead gets choked up that he has no reason for remaining. What is going on?! He forces a grin and explains he is making a change. She cannot help but notice his reluctance to share where he is gong and why. This is not like him! She reminds him she is his mother and she wants the truth ... - Jen stares. Nicole hastily corrects herself. “I lost my baby the last time I was pregnant.” Jen had forgotten about that. Nicole sadly adds Daniel saved this baby early on and has been there ever since. Jen points out he feels responsible and broke the law. She hopes that they are not going on the run as fugitives from EJ. Nicole opens the door. Jen keeps screaming. Brady arrives and wonders what is going on. Nicole snaps the widow Jen is crazy and departs. Jen screams this is not over! - Abigail tracks down Chad at the coffee house, where he has been covering for Sonny. She notes he has not been returning calls and wants to know what happened with Mel. He would rather not talk about it now but she would and says so! - Nick has just finished his shift at the busy pub. Gabi watches when Kate approaches Nick to talk over his job prospects. He thinks that would be a mistake. She offers him a ride home and he points out he is walking. She decides to walk with him. When they exit, Caroline refers to Kate as a spider. One has to be careful with that one! She assumes she offered Gabi a job too but Gabi insists she is happy exactly where she is. - Meanwhile, Bo and Hope are not sure how to broach the problem of her memory loss with Caroline Bo thinks he should do it alone. Caroline has been working since dawn. Hope promises to wait for him. He thanks her, kisses her, and heads to the pub. This is not going to be easy. Bo soon gets to the pub, surprised that Caroline has closed the place while trying to balance a bank statement. He gallantly offers to help. She teases he should be out buying a parrot and a wooden leg. He chuckles he was not in the market for a pirate ship. Besides, the exorbitant cost of a boat has made him reconsider. He has opted to stay home for now. Caroline is pleased to hear it. She recalls how sweet Ciara is. Lexie told her the sweetest story about Theo and Ciara the other day. Bo stares and she does not know what is the matter. Bo reminds her Lexie passed away last June ... - Jen storms around the house, raging about Nicole sending Daniel to jail. Brady tries to calm her down. Jen snaps this is serious. He will talk to Nicole but warns Jen she is out of control. He urges her to call down. Her eye widen wildly as she shrieks she is CALM!
