Friday, October 12, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! Up by early afternoon October 11 ACCUSED! - Replay of Nicole taking that tragic fall down the stairs, Brady and Billie rushing to her side. Brady holds her and tenderly calls her honey as Billie phones for an ambulance. Brady now snaps at Jen what the hell was she thinking. Nicole gasps "She pushed me!” She starts to go into labor. Billie and Brady urge her to breathe. Nicole accuses Jen of wanting to hurt her baby as she sobs. The paramedics arrive on scene and Nicole repeats Jen pushed her. They realize they will have to involve the cops. Jen cries that she did not do this. Billie, however, had heard how angry she was. Brady is going to follow Nicole to the hospital. Jen wants to go with him. He growls she is not going anywhere near Nicole! - Dr. Kayla explains there could be a number of causes of Caroline’s symptoms. Bo agrees. Caroline is not once to mince words. She exclaims it is Alzheimer’s. Kayla patiently concedes it is a possibility, though the episodes could be caused by a number of things. She suggests testing Caroline for the many other things as a process of elimination. When she mentions slight dementia, Caroline quips that is like saying one is sort of pregnant. Kayla hopefully lists a number of curable ailments but Caroline remarks that Alzheimer’s has no cure! - Kristen muses father cannot be serious but he claims he is. “Come to Salem,” coos the phoenix. She shakes her head. - Rafe and Sami are still waiting for their food at the crowded coffee house. He wonders if it is a bad omen, given they could not even get the reservation at the fancy restaurant. She smiles and offers him a mint. Ring ring. Daniel wants to talk to Rafe! They will catch up soon. Sami asks if it is about Nicole. Rafe looks down. Sami gets that EJ will not let up. Rafe explains the lab tests show he is the father but Sami notes those can be faked. However, she believes him. But it does worry her that he has to deal with EJ. Rafe insists EJ is wrong about Nicole. Sami would really rather change the subject. Rafe is all for it. “Hell yeah!’ They kiss passionately like a couple of teenagers. They cannot keep their hands off each other. Enter John with his arm draped around Marlena. “See what I see,” he murmurs. “Thank heaven!” giggles doc. - At the house of Kiriakis, the patriarch will not be tamed. He rages that he refuses to let Dan throw away his life on that drunken tramp. When Dan implies she has changed, his tirade continues. Even Maggie cannot stop him. Victor warns his godson he is being played. Maggie wishes he would not call Dan stupid and naïve. Dan continues to insist Nicole has changed. Vic reminds them she tried to kill him. Besides, Rafe is the father of the baby and should be the one to rescue her and go to Utah! Dan now gets a call from Brady. It is clearly urgent. Dan mutters he will meet him at the hospital. He informs Maggie and Victor that Nicole was in an accident and takes off. Victor and Maggie follow. - At the town square, Jen is a wreck. She stammers she was angry. Billie suggests perhaps she did something to Nicole she did not really mean to. It just happened. Roman saunters over and would like to know if that is true. - At the hospital, Nicole is in full labor. Dr. Cam is the honest doctor helping deliver her baby as nurse Maxine and others watch on. She cries and screams. Cam soon gets out the little guy. Silence. Nicole asks why they are so quiet. Cam turns around and takes a seat. “The baby was unresponsive. I’m so sorry.” She must have suffered a trauma during the fall. Nicole stares ahead in shock, then asks how her boy is. Cam explains he did not make it and he is sorry. Nicole asks to hold him. Cam nods at Maxine, who places the unresponsive bundle in her arms. Nicole cradles him and smiles she is here. She now cries mama is here. She sobs heartbroken. Maxine is crying too. - Kristen wonders why father wants her to put the family back together in Salem. He remarks with Alexandra gone, she is his last chance. She appreciates the checks he has been sending her but this is quite another matter altogether. Stefano acknowledges she will have to face some tough memories. Kristen flashes back to her history with John and Marlena, how she lost him forever to Marlena and comes back to reality. “Difficult doesn’t quite catch it.” Her good times in Salem were far outweighed by the bad ones! Stefano purses his lips. - Marlena is amazed at the sight of her daughter kissing Rafe and says so. Sami explains it happened … “Suddenly” goofily grins Rafe. John declares they could not be any happier. He is relieved that EJ is no longer in the picture. Rafe and John now excuse themselves to see about those sandwiches. Marlena sits down and smiles to her daughter that she hopes this time it will work. John and Rafe are now at the counter. John grins it is great to see them together. He adds he was also impressed when Rafe fought with EJ. He was willing to fight for what he wanted and ended up winning! Meanwhile, Marlena has just finished telling Sami that even she is not perfect. Sami promises she gets it this time. She intends to be as honest with her guy as he is with her! - Kayla points out they cannot confirm a concrete Alzheimer’s diagnosis, they can only treat the symptoms. Caroline asks this to remain between the three of them for now. Kayla wonders if she wants to get started on the tests tonight. Caroline insists Bo wait,as the little needle prick required is a piece of cake. She pauses at the door and smiles she loves them a great deal. Exit Bo and concerned Kayla. Bo waits nervously. - Roman shares that he has officers taking statements from the various witnesses but will be questioning Billie and Jen himself. Jen desperately wants to know how Nicole is doing. At this time he has no news. He politely asks Jen to sit with him and give him her version of events. Jen explains they were arguing and she walked up the stairs to get away. Nicole followed her and they were shouting but she was only trying to get away. What then? She seems to be having trouble remembering the exact details. Did she push her? Jen stammers she did not mean to push her. Billie thinks she should have an attorney present. Roman stands up. He advises the widow to do what she needs to do and wait here. He will be back soon. Jen wants to go to the hospital but old friend Billie insists she stay here! - Dan arrives at the hospital and meets nurse Maxine at the nurse’s station. Nicole is fine, she tells him. He asks about the baby and she woefully shakes her head. - Nicole laments her baby cannot be gone. Dr. Cam explains he took a fall, which caused trauma. Nicole does not think it is fair her baby is gone and she is alright! Whyyyyyyyyy? -Dan steels himself for a moment and then enters Nicole’s room. He asks Cam for a word alone with her. Cam obliges and gives them their privacy. Dan has heard and sits on her bed. She cries she cannot believe this is happening. The medicine man is so sorry. She cries she feels empty and sobs in his arms. How will she be able to go on? Loyal Dan assures her she has him, she need only hang onto him.Crying Nicole does not believe she will get through this but he promises her she will. “I’m right here.” Nicole whispers they let her hold her little boy. She cries he was beautiful and continues crying. Her face red, she sobs this was not supposed to happen. He assures her it was not her fault, it was an accident but she begs to differ. “I was pushed!” - Caroline has returned and Bo asks how it went ...
