Wednesday, October 17, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! Up by early afternoon October 16 YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH! - Kristen is drinking champagne on her DiMera flight. The polite steward informs her they are right on schedule for Salem! - Miles away, John and Marlena are also drinking champagne! They toast to their date night at the town square café. He has some surprises in store and the blonde gushes life would be otherwise very dull. They toast to that. Marlena brings up seeing Sonny and Will in love. It reminds her of the butterflies they felt when they fell in love. John roguishly draws he still gets those butterflies from time to time, maybe even now. Marlena suddenly asks about what he and Sonny were discussing earlier. She could not help but notice that John became rather tight lipped when she originally asked. John flashes back to Sonny suggesting he be a speaker at the coffee house. He now shares that much with the blonde and she wonders what he wanted him to talk about. John fails to tell her he suggested he tell the tale of Kristen and Stefano. Instead, he vaguely replies some of the adventures of his life ... - Meanwhile, Kristen is still drinking on the plane, having hot and heavy flashbacks about the passion she once shared with John! - Back at the house, replay of Bo lamenting to Hope that his beloved mother’s mind is slipping away She is sorry and hugs him. She deduces Caroline needs their prayers, love, and support, just like he does. The big guy vows to be strong. Hope is curious about the possible diagnosis. Bo explains a few things have been ruled out but they may never get to the root of the exact problem. Hope has read about new treatments. Bo explains Kayla is on top of the research, given her medical background. He sits and sighs his ma was lucid one minute, confusing him with pop the next. She was so scared and that is totally unlike her. Hope points out she got up like usual though. She is grateful for Dr. Kayla in the family. Bo recalls how pop ‘s worst nightmare was if he one day did not know who he was, but ma did not seem a likely candidate for such a thing. Hope does not believe Bo should go through this alone. He tells himself it is temporary. Hope suggests he just be Caroline’s loyal son and listen to her and love her. If need be, they can hire someone. Bo refuses to talk about that point. Hope reminds him they have the money and it would be put to use. Bo loves his Fancyface. They kiss and she sits on his lap, cuddling his unhappy face. - At the pub, Caroline informs Kayla she needs to plan for the fight ahead and she is ready for it. Kayla understands. - At the Kiriakis mansion, concerned Brady has called the hospital but Nicole remains sleeping and sedated. So he has been told. He discusses the situation with Victor and Maggie, who cannot believe Jen would have pushed anyone. In fact, Maggie blames herself for accepting Jen’s offer. The widow was not in the right frame of mind for a house guest like Nicole. Now an innocent baby is dead and how will her niece live with herself? Brady righteously adds Nicole is in agony and he cannot imagine how she will recover. Her baby was her miracle and was taken away by someone who was supposed to be helping her. Maggie is stunned that Brady actually believes Jennifer Rose intentionally shoved her down the stairs. Brady explains he likes Jen. However, they had been spending some time together, consoling each other. He heard Jen losing it and saying things to Nicole, like what she said before she fell. It made it sound like it was no accident! He now excuses himself to go see the patient. Maggie decides to go see Jennifer and hear HER side of the story! - In her hospital room, EJ sadly reminds Nicole he lost a child too. He yearns to mourn the loss of their son together. Nicole cries that Daniel Rafael was not his son, the baby was Rafe’s. He stares at her without blinking. He heard her earlier with Rafael discussing that the baby was not his. She denies it. He starts to leave and pauses at the door. She nervously wonders what he is going to do. He stops and sits back down. What does she want him to do? Nicole emotionally recalls how she held him in her arms, the tears streaming down her face. He was peaceful, as if asleep. Her eyes redden and she begs him not to have him prodded and poked with needles. EJ gives her his word that he will not. He truly believes the baby was his. He could not wait for the day he could kiss him and hold him and do all the things with him he could not do with the other. He wants to make Jennifer pay! He implores her to let him grieve. “If this is my little boy just tell me the truth, this time please.” Nicole cries. He is crying too. EJ implores her not to be petty after what they have lost. Their poor child deserves to be mourned by both of his parents. They owe him that much. It is his duty to mourn his son. Nicole thinks the baby deserves to rest in peace. He points out she is not in peace. He suddenly cries this is the last thing he will ever ask of her. “We loved one another. We had a child together,” he reasons. He goes on to suggest it would give them both comfort to end the lie. The boy deserves the love of his fatha. “Yes, EJ!” Nicole finally blurts out theough her tears. "The baby was yours!" She sobs. EJ breaks down and sobs silently, his body shaking. - Sami and Rafe are passionately kissing on the sofa . He stops, upset, and she sits up with him, assuring him it is okay. Rafe stands up. He pounds the fridge in frustration and helps himself to a beer. Sami assures him she understands. She recalls how she felt when Grace died and tells him to take his time. Rafe gets choked up that so many things have gone wrong. Sami sniffles some things are right, though. He has her. They have each other. “I love you.” He grabs her hand. She adds she will be here for him always. They kiss through their tears. He unzips her dress. She unbuttons his shirt and they lie on the sofa together ... - Marlena presses John. Did Sonny believe he would talk about his spy days? John drawls that would be brief as he is not at liberty to reveal classified information. She pleasantly points out he could talk about the police department. John wants to end this conversation as there are more things about his past he would just rather forget! - The steward tells Kristen that Salem is beautiful this time of year. She knows as she has been there. She wonders whether it has changed. The steward makes a comment about the more things change the more they stay the same. Does she know anyone there? Indeed she does and pensively toys with her wine glass , remembering ... - Bo arrives at the pub, where Caroline has insisted on working, and relieves Kayla. She exits and Caroline emerges from the kitchen, teasing him about pulling a graveyard shift. He points out they are family and they should not forget it. - EJ kisses the now sleeping Nicole on the head and advises her to rest. They can talk in the morning.
