Thursday, October 25, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! Up by early afternoon October 24 LOST AND FOUND ... - At the pub, Bo and Hope are discussing the great program in California with Kayla. Bo decides to go with ma. How to tell her? When Caroline approaches and wants to know what is going on, they give her the news. Kayla promotes the program. Caroline is enthused - until she learns it is in northern California. The pub cannot run itself! Hope offers to help. Caroline refuses to go and walks away. Bo puts on a brave face. “That went well!” - Sami questions the authenticity of Kristen being her boss. Kristen calmly assures her Stefano chose his own daughter over her, citing her own experience. Sami hits back by becoming indignant about what she did to her mother. Kristen muses she is sorry her mother poisoned her against her but if she cannot handle working for her, she can quit! Sami considers, then admits she needs the job to take care of her family, plus she likes what she does and is good at it. Kristen reminds her she has had a poor record thus far. They made allowances for her lack of experience, education, and lousy work but this kind of situation will not be allowed to continue. Sami defiantly dares her to say one time she made a mistake. Kristen claims she did with EJ. Sami's eyes widen. Kristen elaborates. She did not get EJ to sign his relinquishment of interest in the company, which prevented the company from being able to file its quarterly return in a timely manner. Now the undue balance and interest have added up. Compounded! Sami exclaims she sent it to him. Kristen points out there is no signature on the document. They need it fixed immediately. Sami sheepishly promises to get him to sign tonight. Kristen exits and pauses at the door, smugly flashing back to telling EJ that she would make Sami want to see him by the end of this day. - Chad visits EJ at the office and offers his condolences about the baby. It all seems so unfair and random. EJ exclaims there was nothing random about it and the one who killed his child will pay! He rages about all the witnesses against Jennifer Horton. The ones who act so good are the ones who can get away with murda but Jennifer Horton shall not be one of them! He thanks him for coming. Chad notes they are brothers and uncomfortably hugs him. He then wishes him luck and departs. - Jen is staring out the dark night window when Abigail rushes in and hugs her, insisting she now knows she is innocent. She went to see Nicole and that woman is on an evil mission! Jen sighs she went to see her as well and only succeeded in making things far worse. Nicole will give a damning testimony ...Of that she is certain. Abigail refuses to give up. She already lost her father, she cannot lose her mother as well! Jen tries to console her. Abigail asks what she needs. Jen thinks they should keep busy by focusing on other things. She s supposed to send out a press release concerning the planned drive for a building fund for upgrades to the emergency room. She looks at her computer and sighs she left the important board signatures at the office, a place where she cannot even show her face now! She needs that document scanned. Abigail eagerly offers to go pick it up. Jen is grateful. Once her daughter is gone, she holds Jack’s picture and whispers at least they got one thing right. “Our baby girl!” - Dan enters Nicole’s room and assures her all is well, she is set for discharge in the morning. She is looking forward to leaving with him. However, the other thing he requested will not be easy. She wonders if he intended it to sound like they would be finished if she pressed charges against Jennifer. He solemnly states there is no justice for a dead child and disagrees with revenge. She notes Jenifer might have pushed her but he questions that. He is talking about a fresh start, a new beginning - only if she wants it. She is clearly torn. Does he mean they will have a fresh start for real? Dan breathes he does, then gets called away. Nicole blinks back her tears and imagines what could happen. She imagines Jen trying to stop them from leaving. Dan returns to the door with Roman so she comes back to reality. She gasps she is not ready but Roman insists the time has come to give the police a formal statement about what happened that fateful night. Dan gives her an intense look. - Back at the pub, the gang try to reason with Caroline. She will not listen and gets back to work. Kayla laments she called in this favor and hopes she will change her mind before it is too late. She returns to the hospital. - HR b*tch Anne arrives at Jen’s door and demands she resign to stop causing the hospital scandal! - At the nurse’s station, Nurse Maxine notices Dr. Dan is distracted, as he made a charting error. That is very unlike him. He is sorry. She now asks shim to help her out by bringing the flyers for the Halloween party in pediatrics. They are presently on Jen’s desk. He walks away to get them and mutters he hopes this is not some trick-or-treat setup. - Roman places his mini-recorder on the tray before patient Nicole and urges her to stick to the facts. She flashes back while remembering that Jen showed up at the house just as she was moving out. “She wouldn’t let me leave …” She flashes back to Jen raging she forbade her to go anywhere with Daniel. Nicole includes it in her statement, then explains how she ventured to Dan’s apartment. She should have stayed put but wanted to get out. She claims she only noticed Jen at the town square when she was shopping for baby clothes. Then Jen started yelling at her so SHE headed for the stairs. She flashes back to how she had hounded and grabbed Jen, who broke free, leading to her fall. Roman now poses the most important question. “Did Jennifer push you or not?” Pause. - EJ sits down, busily working at his desk, when Sami sheepishly knocks at the open door and enters. He is visibly pleased to see her. - Bo and Hope are at their pub table, toying with their coffee cups. Bo is exasperated. Hope notes this is scary for his mom. He hugs her and is relieved she would not mind him going away with his mom. Caroline walks by and growls she does not need two babysitters! Do they not have paying jobs??? Hope follows her and assures her he will be there … for Halloween. Caroline remembers she promised to take Ciara trick or treating. She does not want to miss it. Hope adds she does not want to miss her for Christmas or any other holidays. They love and need her. She takes the dishes out to the kitchen. Bo eagerly looks at his ma, who appears to consider.. - Anne insists Jen cannot take care of the hospital’s image when her own is in tatters! Dr. Kayla arrives and sternly advises Anne to return to her job at the hospital while she still has it! Anne gets a pinched look on her face and slinks away. Kayla is welcomed into the house. Jen closes the door. Kayla would like to know if she is ready for the press conference on the building fund. Jen would rather lie low for the time being. Kayla asks about Abigail. Jen sighs she is being brave. Kayla promises her the entire town is there for her daughter, no matter what. Jen thanks her for the support and kind words. - Dan is at Jen’s desk, searching for the flyers. He spies a picture of Jack and Jen and picks it up. Abigail enters, surprised he is there. He explains he is there for the flyers and asks about Jen. If there is anything he can do … Abigail angrily accuses him of focusing on Nicole instead of being on her mom’s side. He starts to explain he wanted to help Nicole and …. Abigail snaps one cannot help everyone. Sometimes one must choose wisely! - Nicole stammers to the commissioner that she is not sure about the Jen pushing her thing. Roman reminds her she accused Jen of murder when the paramedics came. She laments she was not quite herself and does not remember what she said. In fact, she is now certain that Jennifer did not try to kill her or her baby. “It was an accident.” Hawkish Roman presents her with the document to sign. This is her final word and there will be no turning back. He will leave for a moment to give her a chance to reflect. If she decides she wants to sign it like this, he will return with a witness for the proper procedure. She understands. Exit suspicious Roman.Nicole moves the pen and considers .... - EJ innocently asks Samantha if it is supposed to be his night with the children. She sighs no and she is there to ask him for a favor.
