Tuesday, October 30, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! Up by early afternoon October 29 HIS STORY - Dan is wearing his tropical shirt as he approaches Nicole. She gushes about Hawaii. He cannot wait for their trip. He takes her in his arms and starts to kiss her. Jen suddenly bursts in and announces Nicole lied. She fell down the stairs, plus her baby was already dead before the accident and she knew it! Dan turns and sternly asks if that is true. Nicole now wakes up with a start in her hospital bed. It was just a dream. Dan can never find out! - Justin stops by to see the widow Jen with confirmation that the D.A. has officially dropped the charges. She explains Roman was there and explained as much. He wonders if Roman said why Nicole changed her mind. Jen replies no, but she has a pretty good idea. Moments later, busy lawyer Justin must step away to take a call. Jen excitedly decides to call Dan with her good news, unaware that he was the one who set things in motion. - At his apartment, Dan hands the deliveryman from Salem Gives the box of baby clothes for pickup for charity. He assures him they have never been worn. One of the outfits at the top - a brown piece of clothing - stands out. Meanwhile, at the hospital, a young nurse comes across the matching part of said outfit in the lost and found. She smiles it is exactly the kind of thing she has been looking for! - At the pub, Bo and Roman are having a last beer together. Roman tells him he got a new snow blower. He offers to help Hope with the snow and promises him he will also be looking out for Ciara. Bo is confident that he will indeed. Roman wants him to focus on helping ma. Bo agrees it sounds like a plan and they drink to that. Caroline admires her boys from the bar and marvels to Kayla they have never been closer! She goes to their table and teases it is not the end of the world. Roman teases he hopes the folks in California know what they are in for. Caroline ushers Roman outside the pub to take his picture. Bo chuckles to make sure he gets his badge in there. Kayla hopes Bo will remember she is there for him and they hug. Just then Caroline returns with Roman, Hope and Ciara. Little Ciara has drawn a picture of all of them so grandma can remember them. Bo is not sure what to say. - Marlena enters the coffee house and comes across Dr. Patel, her busy and most trustworthy therapist. She had wanted to schedule some appointments as something has … come up. The lady doctor offers to pencil her in. Marlena would like to see her asap. Patel must first step away to meet the person she is there for. Marlena turns and sees it is none other than Kristen! - Sami is still with Rafe at the town square. He whispers he loves her more than anything. She gives him a look. He gets closer and murmurs they should try and make their relationship work. He is holding her hands. Sami pauses. EJ suddenly comes between the pair, claiming he has something to show Samantha. Rafe warns him to get lost. EJ reminds him to be grateful he got him a get out of jail free card. Sami wants to hear all about it. He boasts he will not be pressing charges against Rafe or the doctor he used to commit fraud. Sami is surprised. EJ declares he does not believe in revenge. Besides, petty revenge would not bring his son back. Sami agrees with his decision. EJ emphatically adds the one who is responsible for his son’s death is another matter! - Dan ignores Jen’s call and ambles out of his apartment. - Nicole is in her hospital bed, remembering how she was told her baby was dead. She mutters no one knows or ever will. “Knows what?” wonders a suspicious nurse Maxine! Nicole reminds her she just suffered the loss of her baby. Maxine is sympathetic. She goes to get started on her release form but before she leaves, she informs the patient she is glad she is not pressing charges against Jennifer. It is good she is leaving behind the bitterness. Exit Maxine. She bumps into Dan on her way out and asks him to tell Mel they all miss her. Nicole now hopes Daniel has news about Hawaii. He grins it is all set and hands her their itinerary. She is over the moon! - Rafe solemnly notes EJ seems to be going after Jennifer. EJ denies it, but he does want justice. Rafe questions why he would be so hard on the widow who insists she is telling the truth. EJ calmly disagrees, smiles at Samantha it was a pleasure, and saunters off. Sami turns to Rafe and calls him stupid, mean for criticizing EJ when he has backed off and is still mourning the loss of his child. Furthermore, she is not impressed that he did not even bother to tell her EJ had dropped the matter. Rafe, on the other hand, is not impressed she slept with EJ and gets sarcastic. The argument escalates. Sami understands why Rafe lied about Nicole. However, she does not understand why he trusted her sister with the secret and not her. Rafe exclaims because she cannot be trusted. He again brings up EJ, all the times she lied … He stops himself and realizes they are off the topic of them. Sam sarcastically notes he thinks she is an untrustworthy, self-absorbed bitch.Rafe blames EJ for the discord. Every time he comes around, things go to hell! Sami disagrees. But he should go to hell! Rafe sighs after 3 years together, she feels he is the bad guy.That is stupid! Sami turns and watches EJ, who is working at a table alone. - Caroline loves the pictures Ciara made for her and she loves her. She hopes she will always remember that. Ciara smiles she loves her too and they share a tender embrace. - Dan roguishly asks Nicole if she is ready to get dressed and go. Not so fast! Maxine opens the door and apologizes it will be another hour for the paperwork to be completed. Maxine now gets back to the nurse’s station and scolds the young nurse who took the baby clothing from the lost and found before the required 30-day period was up. The nurse storms off, leaving it behind. Dan emerges from Nicole’s room and answers a call from the Salem Gives driver who picked up the box of baby clothing. He had forgotten to give him a receipt for income tax purposes. And so he posted one on his door. Dan sighs he did not want his friend to be reminded of what was given away. Meanwhile he is standing very close to the item of baby clothing the nurse left behind, which matches the one at the top of Nicole’s pile. - Bo asks daughter Ciara if she is alright with him leaving. She is and is looking forward to them videoing each other. Bo grins he is crazy about her and they hug for the last time. - At the coffee house, Marlena demands to know why Kristen is meeting with HER doctor! Kristen pretends it is a coincidence they have the same therapist. Marlena, however, accuses her of lying, her eyes flashing. “Don’t ever lie to me again!” - Sami is sitting at a table near EJ’s when he calls her and drawls he is sorry for making things worse. She asks him to leave her alone so he stands up to do just that. Sami stops him and uncertainly wonders if he too thinks she is selfish and self-absorbed. NO! He has seen how she is with her children and others. Sami thinks Rafe was right. She did not even tell EJ how sorry she was for his loss. He insists he knows, for he can see what is in her heart. She does not need to change. “I like you precisely because of who you are!” he assures her. Perhaps Rafe will too or perhaps she will fall short of his expectations. If so, that would be his loss ...
