They admire the flower that gives her the power over so many ... Kate wakes up and Roman insists he is sticking at her side. They are still searching for the orchid. Diva is tired. He whips out an engagement ring and asks her to marry him ... again ... Rex sighs to Sarah since there seems no cure in sight Roman is the best medicine for mama Kate now ... Kate feels unworthy, Roman wants an answer. She sighs no ... Brady is shocked after the lovin in bed when Chloe suggests they break up because of Kristen. She argues Rachel hates her. Brady wishes she would not let his ex win ... Rolf cannot deny if Kristen had not taken the flower he would be in big trouble but wonders whether she will use it or let the three women perish ... Shawn texts John that no orchid was found in the lab. Marlena murmurs not to give up ... - Kate senses the end is near and loves Roman, his ring and proposal. She has Belle and John here. Exit Eric. John now answers a call from Samantha and hands Marlena the phone. She feels better hearing her daughter ... Kristen complains about her enemies. Rolf reminds her she always has her eye on ze prize and Chloe is her rival for Brady. He knows Stefan did not work well when he tried to woo Chloe and senses she is using the orchid ... Chloe worries Brady will lose his daughter but he believes otherwise. Besides sacrificing his love for her is not the answer ... Rolf cannot agree with the idea of doing anything to Marlena aka Stefano's queen of the night. Kristen cackles about his old clone collection so he questions her collateral plans for Kayla and Kate ... Roman gives Kate the call from Statesville Lucas. She gushes she is getting hitched ... - Sarah is sympathetic and wishes she could do something to help Kate. Rex appreciates that as well as the time they had together. She feels the same way ... Kate regrets Lucas cannot come but is so proud of him now. She lets him know how much she loves him and says a soft goodbye. She admits to Roman she did not want to let her suffering son know her end felt near. She loves being Roman's betrothed but he wants a wife. Enter Rex and Eric as though on cue ... Kristen acts coy with Rolf. He warns if the three women die while she has the cure it is on her head ... Marlena understands Sami must stay with Sydney now and hoarsely asks her to speak to Belle, who now gets the phone. Belle cries and promises she and Eric will look after mom for them all. She ends the call with an I love you too. John hopes there will be more miracles ... Kate gets her makeup on and thanks Rex for getting her bag. Roman arrives with flowers from under her window and former father Eric. Kate inhales the aroma of the wildflowers she loves as Roman admires the wildflower he is about to wed ... - Rolf reminds Kristen her orchid is the last chance dance for Marlena, Kate and Kayla ... Now that they are alone, Marlena cannot hide how she feels to John. She feels like she is slipping away. He weeps he will be strong and kisses her head. Sarah arrives with a flower delivery for Marlena and they cannot help but wonder what if ... Roman and Kate's passionate past is shown as Eric marries the classic couple. Roman kisses his beautiful bride as Eric and Rex watch ... John reads the card. Marlena wants to see it and reads Orpheus' wicked note about her wilting and dying just as will the orchid she does not have ...
