He fears the cops will come to his door if he does not have the money soon. Knock knock ... At Horton house Gwen is drying her nails when Abigail appears. Sister just arrived and wants a word ... Xander opens his door to Jack and admits his rent is late with front desk. Jack can see he was in a fight but he fibs it was his skateboard. Jack came to apologize ... Gabi realizes Jake has Brady under surveillance. She cannot wait for Victor to hear all about Phillip from Brady. They kiss and Ava steps in with a scoff. Gabi talks back. Ava warns Rafe is always on her side ... - Brady sternly reminds Vic his company is run by DiMera and he and Nicole run Basic Black the way they want. Victor gets sarcastic about the hiring of Xander and assures Brady he can always return to Titan though excellent Phil is now the family member in charge. About that excellence ... Chloe and Philip are having a cute picnic at the same spot they spent sweet times together in their youth. They remember romantically carving their initials into their tree of love. Alas, he later cut it down in a fit of rage ... Abigail still blames herself for Gwen’s baby loss. Gwen gave her a hard time and then she was not quite herself. She is sorry she lost her baby and believes she deserved to be a mother. Abigail weeps from one mom to another she is sorry ... Jack updates Xander on Gwen revealing how he covered for her. Xander soap stares ... - Ava accuses Gabi of trying to break up her and Rafe by attempting to send him to Nicole. Gabi talks sordid history. Ava lists Gabi’s sordid history and Jake notes he already knows all that. She suggests he was better off with Kate, who at least has class. Gabi gets mad ... Victor is still on his throne as Brady warns Phil has become too fixated. Tis his old obsession of Chloe. He complains he followed them on a biz trip. Phil is also at Basic Black more than Titan cos of Chloe. Victor growls that is gonna change ... Phil blames Brady stealing Chloe for his old tree rage. He believes he can be a better man and fix his mistake. Chloe is curious ... Xander is flabbergasted Jack forgave Gwen and is also impressed. Jack would never judge her for her past as she is his daughter. Xander adds so is Abigail. Jack notes Abigail has nothing to do with Gwen's hooker history ... Gwen assures Abigail she is aware she was not trying to harm her or baby and wants her to know why she should not be sorry. Abigail waits and watches ... Xander realizes Gwen only used the hooker idea he gave her so Jack is still unaware she lied about being preggers when she fell down the stairs. He covers his split-second surprise. Jack explains he considers Abigail, JJ and Gwen all equal as his kids. Xander points out he is a loving papa. He knows Gwen feels it. - Gwen informs Abigail she told Jack that sis did not purposely push her. Abigail knows already but blames herself for following her up the stairs and grabbing her arm. Now they must both live with the consequences. Gwen sighs she knows all about guilt ... Gabi rubs in Ava's blowup with Rafe. Ava insists he understood and suggests she and Jake move out if they mind her presence. She is going nowhere and acts like the haughty lady of the house ... Phil has bought a new sapling to plant in the place of his and Chloe’s old tree. It will grow with their new beginning. Chloe smiles ... Slick Vic stuns Brady by suggesting he steal Chloe from Philip ... Gabi explodes and tells Jake to start packing cos they are leaving ... Victor wants Brady to romance the Chloe and argues it would keep him away from crazy Kristen. He must make the songbird snap ... Chloe and Phil have planted their new sapling and now have dirty hands. She teases it will take too long for them to carve anything. He talks faith and kisses her ... Gwen sincerely hopes Chad and Abigail can overcome. Abigail thanks her for that. Gwen deduces they will see one anotha at family gatherings. Abigail agrees and takes her leave ... - Jack is impressed with Xander’s loyalty to Gwen but wonders why he mentioned Abigail. Knock knock! Tis Gwen, who notices Xander is limping. He looks at Jack and now so does she. Jack just came to apologize and now discreetly departs. Xander complains everything could have gone to hell ... Gabi sulks in front of Sweet Bits but enjoys the donuts with Jake. He notes they now need a new place and suggests a temporary Salem Inn room. Gabi gets a better idea. Jake gets worried ... Ava flashes back to overhearing Jake and Gabi as the pair discussed their plot to take over Titan. Time to call old friend Philip ... Chloe and Phil tidy up from their picnic. Alas her shoes took a hit so he suavely offers to take her to a shoe store for another pair. He would do anything for her. Ava suddenly summons him and he acts vague. He kisses happy Chloe and goes on his way ... Gwen admits to Xander she used his story in the last minute. It saved her relationship with Jack. Xander is on good terms with him too. However, what about with each other? Gwen blushes ... Victor repeats his offer of a deal to Brady. Will he break up Chloe and Phil? Chloe waltzes in and also wonders ... Abigail is gathering things for the kids at DiMera mansion. Gabi appears and announces she and Jake are moving in again ...
