John is convinced their great love was what beat the devil as well as their faith in God. He holds up the bible and devil doc hisses to put it away. - Ben admits he was haunted by guide Ashley's words regardless. Ciara praises him for facing his past with therapy, realizing the pain he caused and trying to be a better man. Ben still believes he is a natural born killer but is he really??? ... Paulina assumes the gang are joking. Kayla and Steve were not in Salem during the era of possession but Abe remembers it well. Paulina hears the devil did indeed ride into Salem. Kayla wonders why John is preoccupied with it still. Abe shares Johnny's intent to make a movie of Sami's life, also featuring Marlena's devil possession ... Johnny promises pretty Chanel no need to worry and wants to continue the Exorcist. She can hold his hand ... Marlena is sorry she seems stressed and tells John to return the bible to the box. John reasons Johnny making his movie would be a mistake that could invite the evil back in. Marlena grins and agrees ... Doug cannot say the words he wants to say ... or any! Julie goes for a nurse and to call Marlena. She leaves Eli at his side ... - Ben is suddenly distant. Ciara wishes he would consider all his good deeds and the happiness he has brought to her life. Paulina emerges and wonders ... Devil Marlena goes to Doug to shut him up for good ... Julie rejoins Eli and Doug. When she says Marlena is en route he stammers no and spits out that Marlena needs help! - Ben is sorry. Ciara asks if he means he will never have a child with her ... Kayla smiles she and Steve are simply happy Abe and Paulina found one another. Steve calls her a keeper. Abe suggests dessert. Paulina says no devil’s food cake and tries to digest Marlena's past possession ... John and Chanel have finished the movie. He believes the ending was good as the bad guy devil was banished. Chanel argues two priests died so it was not happy. Johnny announces he intends to improve Will’s script by writing his own, which will be all about Marlena’s possession. Dangerous music plays ... Marlena claims Doug is confused when Eli and Julie reveal he said she needed help. She acts altruistic and goes to see the Salem patient alone. Eli consoles Julie but seems suspicious ...
