Clyde claims he wanted to go after Belle with his gloves and make EJ find the girl strangled dead. He never found her but then came face to face with Abigail, who confronted him in the hall upstairs where the bedrooms were. They were alone in that wing ... Leo thinks it is logical Clyde wanted to frame him for the jewelry but stabbing Sonny made no sense. Gwen gasps he offed Abigail as well. Leo is shocked ... Jack repeats to Jen that cooperative Leo told him he left the knife he used to open Abigail's jewelry box with - in her room. Jen is confused. Shawn calls and agrees Leo stark did not do it. They are now hunting for the real culprit. Clyde ... Crafty Clyde tried to lie he wanted to run a deal by Chad cos EJ turned him down. Smarter Abigail suggested he was lying cos no one wears leather gloves in the middle of June. Clyde complained she was too smart for her own good. Chad stares and keeps his gun on him ... - Jen sighs Clyde was cleared and cries no one is safe with Abigail's real killer out there. Jack suggests they go to the station and get more from the cops. Jen sends him ahead and insists she will be alright with Doug and Julie upstairs here at Horton house ... Leo deduces Clyde came after he stole the jewelry and wonders what his motive was. Gwen assures him he is still getting released soon. Leo wonders about her story and suggests Nancy and the culprit are on the run like a Bonnie and Clyde ... Bonnie answers a call on nervous Nancy's phone from Chloe and assures her friend Nancy is with her and alright. Nancy feels like a fool for falling for Clyde ... Chad rages at "dumb bastard" Clyde and makes him keep going with the story. Clyde lied to Abigail he had blisters from a hot pub pot. She ordered him to let her see. He refused. She complained about all the crooks coming by and went to call the cops. He stopped her and then spied the knife. Clyde now suggests to trembling Chad that they stop but Chad bellows to stay and keep talking ... Belle and EJ are now at City Hall discussing Clyde with Shawn, who is surprised Clyde is nowehere. Belle tells EJ to tell her hubby everything ... Gwen decides she is done. Leo apologizes and does believe her. He also apologizes for implicating her earlier and wants to make it up to her. She sighs maybe he can help her with pill popping Jen ... High Jen slurs at Abigail's picture about their nice long talks in Boston and then feels her hand on her shoulder ... Clyde somberly states he saw the knife on the table as his way out. He picked it up. Abigail did not take well to his threats. He refused to allow her to ruin his life as she did to Ben when she drove him to the nuthouse. He gets mad about EJ remembering he was his shooter and even telling Belle. He came to the mansion to teach him a lesson and silence Belle forever. Abigail said he missed them. He leered she was still family and he said he would come after EJ's family sooooo ... EJ denies Chad has the gun. Belle tells him to stop trying to protect him. Mad Shawn goes to put out an APD on Chad now too ... Chad rages at Clyde to finish his story and then their business will be forever done. He is still aiming Stefano's gun at his head ... - Jen asks if Abigail is an angel but she says nothing. Jen cries about the hell of living without her ... Gwen updates Leo on high Jen threatening to ruin her relationship with Jack if she outed her pill popping habit. Perhaps her dad could help. Leo insists she look out for number one and argues when Jen snaps Jack will need his good daughter to lean on. Let Jen fall apart with her own probs ... Bonnie gives Nancy a pep talk about love finding her again ... Gwen is surprised to see Jack at the station. No one is around for an update. She heard about Clyde and told Leo. Jack decides to head home to Jen. Gwen gets nervous and he notices. She wants him to know something about his wife ... Jen asks how to stop the pain and hangs onto her pills. She cannot live without her daughter and asks if she came to tell her what happened. Abigail looks down at the blood on her white dress and Jen breaks down from the horrible hallucination ... Cold hearted Clyde recounts to Chad how he stopped Abigail from going for help and started to stab her ... Shawn shows Belle and EJ the footage from the security cameras and sees Chad grabbing Clyde from behind, hauling him off. When Shawn looks up EJ has vanished ... After the stabbing, Clyde left with the knife. Chad gasps he was at a movie with the kids while he was murdering their mother ... Gwen updates Jack on seeing the secret prescription pills Jen has been popping since Abigail was murdered. Jack cannot believe it so she tells him of her threat and urges him to help her. Jack heads home in a hurry ... Jen tries to hug the apparition but it vanishes. She sobs for her baby to come back ... Chad's hand shakes as he holds the gun closer to Clyde and demands to know why he attacked Sonny. Clyde claims he was setting Leo up to take the fall after he heard about his hit list and found it. He followed Leo to Sonny's office and used the same knife he used on Abigail. Then he set the scene. He drawls Chad does not have the nerve to shoot him ... - Bonnie tells Nancy to believe in love ... Jack runs home to Jen and finds the pill bottle but no sign of his wife ... Jen imagines she is driving bleeding Abigail and vows revenge on anyone who harmed her baby. Gwen walks out of the station and stares at the approaching headlights like an unlucky deer ... Shawn sighs there are now two DiMeras on the loose seeking revenge. Belle does not deny it ... Back at the cemetery Clyde cackles and dares Chad to shoot him. They struggle and the gun falls. Clyde starts to strangle him until ... BANG! Clyde goes down.
