Jen sobs to the Abigail she sees she will make all her enemies pay. All of a sudden Gwen appears outside the station and gets hit ... At the cemetery EJ shoots Clyde. Chad gasps he hopes the sob is dead. Alas he moves. EJ leers to bleeding Clyde about poetic justice. Chad taunts he will be damned and pay for what he did to Abigail though unlike her he will not expire with a loved one near ... Shawn receives the report of the cemetery gunshots and Belle races after him ... Rafe finds Gwen in a sad little heap and rushes to her ... Clyde croaks for help. Chad sarcastically states he cannot hear him. EJ plays along and they agree they only heard the wind. Clyde curses the brothers and then stops moving ... Julie and Jack realize Jen is not home and not answering her phone. Jack takes off and urges Julie to stay put but then Jen enters acting confused. She sits and knows not where her phone is. Jack worries where she was ... Rafe urges unconscious Gwen - who has a bloodied bump on her head - to stay with him and calls for an ambulance. In contrast, EJ suggests Clyde hurry up and die. Here come Shawn and Belle. Shawn calls for medical assistance and gets mad when Belle suggests client EJ say nothing. Chad announces he has no lawyer and nothing to hide. He is ready to talk ... - Drugged up Jen declares she saw Abigail or rather imagined her and went to see what was going on with Clyde. Julie is horrified when Jack suggests Clyde could have been Abigail's killer. Jen sighs she was tired and turned around. She hopes Clyde was caught cos he must pay. Jack shows her the pill bottle ... Dr. Sarah is paged due to two arriving ambulances and kisses hubby Xander as that means the end of her break. Gwen gets wheeled in and he is shocked ... Chad gives his statement to Shawn at the station. He admits he hauled Clyde to the cemetery and got him to confess he killed Abigail. However his real target had been Belle, who now walks in, shocked. EJ arrives as well and Shawn gets the rest of the story about Clyde's planted bug. Shawn is appalled EJ dragged his wife into the drama. Belle is heartbroken to hear how Clyde decided to silence Abigail. Shawn wants the rest so Chad states Clyde tried to strangle him to death. EJ admits that was when he arrived and shot him dead. Belle argues he had no other choice since Clyde was out to off Chad, who agrees he almost lost his life. Shawn makes them stay at the station, hugs Belle and they exchange I love yous. Then he heads to the hospital for a word with Clyde ... - Jack and Julie probe but Jen snaps her painkiller addiction was long ago. Jack begs for the truth. She runs upstairs to get sick ... Xander anxiously asks arriving Rafe about Gwen. Rafe has little more than the fact that it was a hit and run. He has to contact Jack. Xander hopes he will not lose anotha daughter. Rafe now calls Jack. He bears bad news about Gwen ... Jen returns and Julie informs her Jack had to leave. Gwen is in emerg. Clueless Jen hopes she is alright ... Sarah informs Xander that Gwen was spared it seems of internal bleeding and is stable. Rafe wants to know if she is awake. Not yet for she is sedated. Xander gets permission to sit with her until Jack arrives ... Belle plans to talk to Trask to make sure EJ and Chad are not charged. EJ officially apologizes for putting her in harm's way. She is only upset they were unable to stop Clyde earlier. EJ feels the same way. Chad stares into space ... Shawn updates Rafe on EJ shooting Clyde to save Chad. Here comes frantic Jack, who hears Gwen is stable. He wants to go see her but Rafe reveals Clyde attempted to kill Chad so EJ shot him. Jack sure hopes the sob is dead. When Shawn tells him the docs are patching him up Jack demands the room number. Shawn offers to escort him ... Clyde cusses cos he is cuffed to a bed. Here comes Jack demanding to know why he offed his beautiful daughter ... EJ gets solemn Chad a coffee and suggests HE was to blame for Abigail. He knew for a while that Clyde was a threat to the family, whom he failed. He is deeply sorry. Chad believes they both made mistakes and is grateful big brother saved his life tonight. They shake on it and a new bond is born ... Clyde tries to lie his way out of harming Jack's pretty little daughter and drawls he will wait for an attorney. Jack rages he stole Abigail from her children and family. He dramatically damns him to a life of being haunted by what he did. Clyde cackles he is better off without her cos that girl was no angel, the tramp cheated on his boy Ben. Jack tries to lunge so Shawn ushers her him out ... Xander tenderly tells Gwen papa Jack is coming. Sarah watches as he praises her for her toughness. Her eyes open and she seems surprised to see him. Sarah tells her of the hit and run. Rafe comes in with questions and vows to track down the driver who done it ... - Julie reminds Jen she and Doug moved back to the house with her the first time she was pill popping. She gets her to admit she struggled for weeks and misled Maggie. One pill led to another. Julie assures her that her life matters to all of them. She is now the most important female figure in the lives of Abigail's children. They all need her. Jen sobs on her shoulder ... Gwen is almost ready to remember. Jack arrives and Rafe wonders. There was a speeding car that came right at her. Rafe asks if she saw the driver ... Julie takes Jen upstairs. Jen is relieved no one was hurt from her actions ... Gwen says she saw no face and wonders who would have committed such a thing in front of the station. Jack suddenly remembers Jen mentioning her drive to the station ... Shawn stares down Clyde and asks if tis true that he intended to kill his wife Belle. Clyde drawls he has the right to remain silent. Shawn warns he will make sure he never gets out of Statesville again ... Belle is sorry to tell EJ and Chad that Clyde will make it. EJ adds he will be stuck in Statesville for the rest of his rotten life. Chad knows Abigail would approve of the justice and EJ hugs him again ... STAY TUNED! Luv Cathy |
