| Wednesday, August 10, 2011 - PART 2 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! Running On Empty - Part 2 - Stefano starts to murmur and sits up. Chad suggests they take him to the hospital. The phoenix drawls no hospital. Kate asks if he forgot to take his insulin. EJ continues to rage and thunders it must have been an attack of remorse for what he did to Maggie Horton, who may not live. Stefano calls his son a weakling. Kate implies it is Maggie's fault. Chad disagrees. Stefano claims it was Victor's fault. Chad stands up and is dismayed that after Victor sought peace. Stefano wanted to kill him! He storms out. EJ advises Stefano to get Chad out of the house for all their sakes. Enter Bo and Hope. Bo smirks they are there on official business and are fully prepared to make arrests if they do not cooperate. Kate explains her husband was not well this evening. Stefano growls they will go over this now. "What do you want to know?" EJ is silent. Hope asks where Stefano was when Maggie was shot. Kate claims they were together but he suggests she not lie for him. Hope informs the phoenix she knows he made the 911 call for Maggie. What was he doing at the pier? He casually states he was at another part of the pier doing business, heard the shot, and went to help. Elsewhere, Bo talks to EJ. Brady suspects his peace meeting with him was a ruse to get Victor alone. EJ is sarcastic. Bo deduces EJ might have been sincere, but his father used his good will to ambush Victor, hence his anger. EJ calls that an interesting theory. Bo points out an innocent got in the way when Stefano tried to kill Victor Kiriakis. He proposes a deal. Full immunity if EJ tells him the truth about his father. EJ reminds him he is innocent. Bo alludes to the fact that someone will pay. Who will it be - him or his father? EJ decides to get some fresh air and hopes Bo will be gone when he returns. Meanwhile, Hope has just heard that Maggie is on a ventilator. Stefano is sorry. Hope accuses him and tells him to go to hell. Bo holds her back. Chad enters and sighs what is going on now! - Jennifer notices Abigail is distracted, as Chad has not called. Abigail does not deny it. Jennifer thinks this is for the best. That is not the safest house for him to be in at the moment. Abigail agrees and explains she wants to convince him to leave. Jen reassures her with a hug. - Dan walks over to Victor and informs him that waiting around will not help Maggie. The Greek tycoon implores him to lie to him and tell him she will soon be back to normal. Dan sighs he would if he thought he would believe him. He now calls and leaves a message for Mel, that Maggie cannot have visitors yet. She can come see her tomorrow. Dan walks away. The nurse in Maggie's room opens the blinds. Victor steps forward to observe the sleeping redhead through the window. - Abigail is leaving the lounge as tired Dr. Dan enters. Jen praises the medicine man and they hug. Chad now calls Abigail. She assures him she is on his side and realizes this must be hard. He is just sorry about Maggie and adds he does not deserve her. She wishes she was with him. He smiles. - Meanwhile, Jen praises exhausted Dr. Dan. She wants them to stick together. She is smiling and he smiles he wants the same. Their heads get close ... - Abigail returns to woeful Victor and insists Maggie would not want him to blame himself. She talks forgiveness. Maggie would be happy to know he is not going after the DiMeras. The redhead knows he is a good man and that is why she loves him! - At the Kiriakis mansion, Brady talks to Dmitri about the possibility of a direct strike, though for now he just needs to guard Victor. He has promised not to seek revenge, but if Dmitri sees any DiMera get close to a Kiriakis family member ... Dmitri will pass on the word and departs. Nicole walks in and notes Brady is walking a fine line. Brady drawls he is only talking protection. He stands up and Nicole wants to know what is wrong. He bitterly admits he no longer wants peace. He hates Stefano and EJ! Nicole gathers how much Maggie must mean to him. Brady is glad that Nicole is with him. She promises she is not going anywhere. He solemnly states he needs her and they embrace... - At Maggie's bedside, Victor laments he never should have let her back in his life, for then she would be safe. "I love you," he murmurs. Abigail stares through the window. - Dan and Jen are on her bed kissing. He thinks he should let her sleep but she insists he stay! They continue their lovefest ... - Outside the pub,EJ gets off his phone, having received an update about Maggie. Tay approaches and he laments nothing should have happened to Maggie. Tay suspiciously wonders if he means something should have happened to someone else. Did he have anything to do with Maggie's shooting? EJ flashes back to enlightening Stefano that he wishes to protect his family. He suddenly announces to Taylor that he lied initially, as he is responsible for what happened to Maggie Horton! Tay's eyes widen in horror ... - Back at the mansion, Stefano thinks Chad should not be involved in the discussion. But Bo and Hope insist on talking to him. Bo asks point blank if he knows who shot Maggie Horton. All eyes are on the newest member of the DiMera clan ...! Next on Days of Our Lives "It would be a lot better for you if you turned your back on this rancid family," EJ tells Chad. CHAD I did not sign up for this. STEFANO None of us did! Chad faces Bo and Hope as Kate and Stefano watch and wait. "There is something I want to say and it's about time I said it!" |
