They are all out of breath. Sami throws herself into EJ's arms. He embraces her as she shuts her eyes. - Dan and Bo continue digging through the heavy rubble that was once the ballroom. All of a sudden, Nicole cries to make it stop, she cannot lose this baby. She flashes back to Brady informing her when her last baby did not make it. "Not again!" she weeps. Daniel does not want her to panic. Bo points out they simply cannot move fast or else the mound of debris will collapse on her. And so it is up to Dr. Dan to calm her. He praises her for her strength. He needs her to use some of her strength and crazy for her baby. She groans in pain. He now fears the worst. - Down in the tunnel, Mel babbles about needing to help. Brady wants her to relax and wait, for that is all they can do. She nervously asks what is new with him. He admits he just got out of rehab. She is stunned but he would rather not discuss that. He ironically notes that he plans to get married tonight. Midnight. She wonders what he is doing here without Madison. She regrets ruining his wedding day. He is just relieved she is alright. He simply had to find her. Mel babbles they must get him out and up there so he can marry Madison. That is all he wants to do too! - Ian implores Madison not to leave him. He cherishes her. She groggily whispers she loves Brady and then is gone. Ian cries NO! He cradles her limp form and sobs not to leave him. Tears trickle down Kate's cheeks as her rage turns to pain and sorrow. - Down in the tunnel, Brady has a bad feeling. - EJ helps Sami walk toward the warehouse exit and angrily asks Will what happened. He tells them of the explosions and the fact that Roman and Lucas were taken to the pub. EJ intends to help with the rescue effort, given he is the mayor. Sami exclaims the police will arrest him on sight. He must still leave town! - Chad orders Gabi to leave but she refuses. He finds out the direction Mel went in and staggers that way. Meanwhile, Brady stands up and gets a strange look in his eye. He solemnly tells Mel they need to get out. She now realizes there is a crack in the pipe. - Dan no longer hears Nicole and nervously calls her name. - Jack exclaims his daughter needs him and he is ready to step up. He and Cameron try to pry the elevator door again. Jack lets out a war cry. He uses a piece of wood to force open the door. Abigail is cowering inside. Jack enters and goes to her. The door starts to close again. The elevator shakes violently. Cam attempts to keep a small a small space open but the window of opportunity is vanishing fast ... - Against Marlena's wishes, Lucas jumps up, announces he must find Sami, and races out of the pub. - Back at the warehouse, EJ reasons to Sami that the police have bigger matters to contend with and will therefore not arrest him. Will explains they will indeed. He himself heard them discussing it. Sami clutches her sore shoulder and insists he leave before Roman finds him. She will make sure the kids know he is a hero. He must take off for them. EJ smiles and thanks Will, who says you’re welcome. He now faces Sami. "I guess this is goodbye." She retorts it is not and drops a bombshell. "I'm coming with you!" EJ stares ... END |
