HEROES - Part 2 - The mound of debris has been cleared away, yet there is no sign of Nicole! - Lucas wants to know where Sami went with EJ. Will claims he does not have that information. Lucas wonders if he is telling the truth and yells at him for not telling him sooner. "Is she helping him escape?" Will claims he does not know. Lucas, his voice filled with hurt, demands to know where she took him. Will whispers she is actually going with him. Lucas stares. Will adds she had no choice. Lucas rages she did and yet she is always protecting that son of a bitch! He is nothing but a killer! He murdered Stefano so who knows what he will do to her! Will argues he was framed. In fact, Sami got mugged for the evidence that would have cleared EJ. Lucas refuses to listen to Will defend her. She has chosen to be with a murderer despite his warnings! He turns away and cries she has just made the biggest mistake of her life! Will is speechless. - In the dark living room, Sami and EJ have finished counting the money and consider where to go next. He thinks somewhere secluded would be best. She remembers hiding with the FBI once upon a time. He notes that was from him. She muses she now believes that might have been a mistake. EJ declares he knows the perfect place. - The elevator from hell moves, then stops. Jack jumps into action and frantically works to open the door as Cam pries it with the crowbar. Jack starts to succeed, with the power of his determination. - Abe is dismayed about Theo bolting ... until the lad returns with little Molly’s mother. She hugs her daughter and Kayla wants her checked out. Abe wonders how Theo found her. She explains she had passed out in the parking lot, unseen, then awoke to see this little hero standing over her, explaining her daughter needed her. Abe asks Theo how he knew. He earnestly replies he listened to what mommy told him. And he wants to be a detective just like him. Proud Abe hugs him and tells his son how much he loves him. - EJ and Sami enter an undisclosed location and she turns on the lights. EJ explains this is one of fatha's old safe houses outside of town. He thanks her for coming and looks her in the eye. "It means a lot to me." - Jack has opened the elevator door from the inside with his bare hands. Cam appears and urges Abigail to take his hand quickly. Jack pushes his frightened daughter out. The elevator makes an ominous rumbling sound. Jen turns back. Jack tells her he loves her. They can only watch helplessly, like Jack from the inside, as the door shuts and the elevator SNAPS like a death trap. Jen screams "JAAAACK!" as our hero's eyes are filled with dread and understanding that the end is near ... END |
