SALEM ON EDGE - Part 2 - At the police station, Hope informs Jen they did find Carly's prints on a beer bottle, but their best lead is still the mystery man who was last seen with her. The one in the newspaper. She has another case, which she is not supposed to be working on and tells her about that one as well. Jen offers to get the hooker attacks some publicity in the newspaper with the assistance of a media contact. Hope appreciates it and steps away for a moment. Jen glances at the newspaper with Quinn's composite. Her phone now rings."Yes, I am looking for Carly Manning. Hello? Hello?" She departs in a hurry ... - Taylor storms into the Kiriakis mansion and hurls accusations at Brady. He did it and Nicole must have know, too! But Chad was shot! They are stunned. Tay insists they must have known. She suspects Brady hired a hitman and the intended target was EJ. It could have been anyone, given how close she and others were standing to the shot! Nicole asks Brady if that is true. Tay continues to rage and accuses Nicole of wanting EJ to pay for wanting her. Nicole gets mad, denying the charge. Tay calls them sick and declares she is done with both of them! She recounts all the bad things that have happened. EJ wanted to know why she was staying and now she has an answer for him. She tells Brady she quits, sarcastically suggests Nicole stick with him, as he is right up her alley, and storms off ... - At the hospital, Lexie watches as Dan dresses Chad's arm. Enter the relieved phoenix. Dan excuses himself, as the young man is alright. Outside the room, he gets a call about Carly Manning. "What the hell?" - Back in his room, Chad explains to Stefano he did not see anyone. The phoenix lectures him for leaving the compound. He emotionally assures him he matters so much to him and he thought he almost lost him! Enter Abigail. Stefano walks out and announces to EJ that this is done! He now makes for Maggie's room, where he finds Victor. He is there to make peace! - Dan and Mel run into each other at the hospital. They both received the same strange call about Carly Manning and go to the pub, where they meet Jen. The three wait there, as instructed. Moments later, Quinn quietly leaves Carly outside the pub and urges her to enter and get better. Carly walks in and a tearful reunion follows. They are grateful to have her back. Carly woefully states she is sorry and credits QUINN with helping her! - Down at the pier all by herself, devastated Vivian curses Carly. - Abigail visits Chad in his room and apologizes for their disagreement. He was just worried, she was so close. Enter EJ. He would like a word with his brother. Lexie storms out. Chad remarks that his girlfriend must stay. He adds that she warned him it was a mistake to stay close to his family, and now he sees that she has a point. EJ asks if that is how he really feels. He explains getting shot changed things. Furthermore, it is not too late for him or EJ - for now. - Victor bitterly questions what peace means to Stefano. The phoenix elaborates. He almost lost a son he just found. And look what happened to the woman Victor loves. Too many risks."It's time for us to end this war, Victor. I'm ready. Are you ...?" Next on Days of Our Lives "We have to take her off the ventilator," says Lexie. Hope breaks down in tears. VICTOR What are you talking about? HOPE It's not my choice, Victor. It's Maggie's. Victor bends down and tenderly kisses sleeping Maggie on the forehead. |
