Dan gently sits the patient down and notes her color is not good. He fears she is going into shock. Bo calls for an ambulance for a pregnant lady who could be going into labor. Nicole is thirsty and whispers she is cold. Dan places his jacket around her and holds her in his arms. "I'm right here." She is dazed and weak. - Brady announces he sees light and shows Mel the opening. Meanwhile, Chad stops in his tracks, having heard their voices. Gabi disagrees. He insists he did and goes toward them. He arrives in time to witness Brady and Mel tightly embracing, having just discovered a way out. Chad watches the pair in each others' arms ... - Dan is desperate to stop Nicole’s contractions before it is too late and wants her hydrated. He needs an IV and sends Bo off to find one. He promises Nicole he is there for her and strokes her face as she rests in his arms. Bo soon comes back and Dan informs him the contractions are faster. He knows that he must stop it and urges Nicole to stay with him as she weakly moans. - Jen woefully informs Justin and Adrienne that Jack is gone. She now whispers she is sorry and the three share a silent hug in the midst of the chaos. - Meanwhile, the showdown continues. Kate insists Stefano loved her. Ian has another drink and leers that he kept her down on her knees. She counters Ian made a mere cosmetics girl his wife, then lost her to someone her own age. He knows nothing about love! He reminds her she cheated on her husband with him and begged him for it.She screams she was desperate at the time and loved her husband. She rages that Ian is not in Stefano’s class in the boardroom or the bedroom. Drunken Ian leers Stefano was the scum of the earth and she should be happy to be rid of him.
