| Tuesday, August 16, 2011 - PART 2 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! THE AWAKENING - Part 2 - Chad tells Stefano he was shot and Abigail too could have been shot! He is DONE! Stefano insists he is family. Chad points out he saw him disown EJ. Papa phoenix assures him their relationship has since been repaired. Chad, however, refuses to put Abigail in the line of fire. He cannot be a part of this life. Stefano confesses how frightened he was when he heard he was shot. He could not bear to lose him. Chad reasons he will not have to worry if he is no longer part of the family. He adds he will get his things later. Exit fully dressed Chad and Abigail, holding hands. Stefano is inconsolable and walks out. EJ now enters the room and learns from Kate that Chad is moving out. If Stefano losses Chad, she fears he will not survive it! Stefano stands alone in the hall. EJ now approaches. He promises they will get through this together. Tay has just arrived, overhears, and gives EJ a very ominous look! - Back in the redhead's room, Hope cries as Victor stares. Lexie believes she is gone. Victor begs the redhead not to leave him. Hope sobs loudly. Moments later, they realize Maggie is breathing on her own. Excitement fills the air. Victor kisses her and insists everything will be alright! "I love you so much!" She squeezes his hand and her eyes flutter open. He grins she can hear him. What is she trying to say? "I love you, Victor," she gasps ... - Back at the house of Kiriakis, Justin warns Brady to stop the posturing. He adds he is letting Nicole lead him by the nose. Brady drawls he runs Titan alone and Nicole has no influence. Justin doubts it. He suspects Nicole's agenda will cost them. He suggests he think next time before he makes a stupid move and it blows up in his face! Exit Justin. Brady drinks up ... - Down at the pier, Vivian screams at Quinn for daring to use her enemy to make himself feel better. He dramatically declares he owed it to Carly to save her. He refuses to discuss the matter further. Viv complains and wonders how will she avenge Lawrence's death? Quinn concludes she already has. Viv begs to differ. Her enemy is with her family and her son has betrayed her! Quinn explains Carly lost her career and they are all to blame for that. "Mission accomplished!" he bitterly adds and saunters off. Viv pauses. "We'll see ..." - At the pub, Mel has arranged for Carly to get into rehab. Tonight. Dan hugs her and asks Mel to call him as soon as she gets in. Mel and Carly depart together. Jen has gotten a call and returns to Dan with great news. Maggie woke up! She and Dan embrace and she notes things are good again. Dan appears hopeful ... - Mel is with Carly at her room and suggests she give her any remaining pills. Carly hands over the hidden bag and replies that is all of them. Mel flushes them down the toilet. Carly is tense. Mel is proud of her and says so. They hug again. - Back at Maggie's room, Victor announces she is home with him again and he will keep her safe. She tries to talk and finally gets out two words. "Make ... peace!" - At the house of Kiriakis, Nicole joins drinking Brady and complains her sister thinks she is responsible for the feud. He scoffs who needs her and holds Nicole in his arms. - Back at the hospital, EJ assures Stefano that it is Chad's loss and hugs him. "Thank you, son, for your loyalty," sighs the phoenix, and slowly departs. Taylor approaches EJ and gives him a dark stare ...!
