He informs the enamored patient that she and baby are well enough to leave today. She blinks and declares she owes him for he saved them both. He refers to himself as her friend. She has been thinking about their relationship and ... Knock knock! Enter the female doctor who has been attending to Nicole. Nicole wants Dan to stay and hear everything she has to say. The lady doctor advises her patient that for the remained of her pregnancy, there shall be no sex! Nicole grimaces. - Devastated Brady confesses to John that he is filled with guilt. He was not there when his beloved almost bride needed him the most! His sympathetic father attempts to console him. He could not have known she was in danger. No one did. He reminds him her last words were that she loved him. "That is what you hold onto!" he urges his boy. - Nicole’s female doctor will be back before she is discharged. Exit the female doctor. Nicole jokes to Dan about the buzz kill. He assures her she will be fine. All that matters is her child’s health. She smiles she is aware of the fact that he cares about them both. But is it a lot? Dan mutters yes. She senses a but in there... Dan explains them not being together is best for them too, not just the baby. She looks down in disappointment, not understanding. Is he saying they should never make love again? He sighs he is not proud of pressuring her. Neither one of them needs a relationship at the moment ... Nicole gently takes his face in her hands and insists he listen to what she has to say .... - Chad claims Gabi is a hero for helping Mel. Mel enters and agrees it is not her fault. Maxine now arrives with a patient on a bed. They could use some help. Chad leaves with her to help clear out trauma rooms. Nurse Mel starts to tell the patient who was just wheeled in that they will be fine and then jumps back. "Oh my God!" - Sami admires pictures of the children on the computer, including one with EJ. While admiring the photo, she clumsily spills her orange juice on her shirt and starts to unbutton it. Time to get changed ... A man's hand is seen trying to open the locked door. Sami has just slipped into the very tight black dress when she hears the door rattling. She picks up a wine bottle, ready for a fight. - Lucas wonders why Kate is looking at him like that across their table at the coffee house. She muses this is unlike him. Normally he defends Sami but he insists he is done with that. And he is done with her. She made her bed and can sleep in it. Without him! Kate smugly smirks. Lucas bitterly adds he now sees Sami for who she really is. Kate is relieved. Lucas claims he still wants Sami to have happiness, for the sake of the children’s stability. He thinks she should find someone who loves her and love him back. Kate notes then she would make that man's life miserable. Lucas purses hips lips in thought. - Gabi asks Mel what is the matter. She now looks at the patient as well. The girls cannot believe it. Tis Andrew the loon abductor himself, whose eyes fly wide open. "Oh God" whispers Gabi. - EJ is outside, ready for his meeting. A man in shiny black shoes comes up behind him and knocks him on the head with the baton he is holding in his black gloved hand. EJ collapses to the ground unconscious. - Sami raises the wine bottle like a baseball bat. She gingerly goes to check the door herself, then turns around with a start. Rafe grabs the bottle in her hand and she lets out a gasp as they come face to face. "YOU!" says she ... END |
