He puts food in front of Sami and suggests she eat. He frees one hand and reminds her that as the cop, he is supposed to be the one asking the questions! - Will returns to the apartment, where Marlena updates him on Johnny. He sits down and has a question. ”How can I figure out who I am if everyone else already thinks that they know?” She patiently points out what others think of him matters not. That is the grandma answer. And the shrink answer is the same. It is only human nature to be concerned about such things. Will laments when he came out, he had assumed the work was done. Marlena advises him to be his wonderful, delicious self, that is all. He confesses sometimes he feels alone. She explains everyone does, but someday he will give himself to someone who will make his feelings of loneliness disappear. Will starts to smile. - Abigail reads Jack’s words out loud. Jen shuts her eyes and listens. He had written how deeply he loved her and the remarkable children they created together. Nothing could take that from him. It sustained him through the darkest hours. Jen whispers to her devastated daughter that her dad loved her so much and embraces her. - Dan decides Jen does not need to hear from him now. Maggie begs to differ. Dan urges her to look after them and keep him posted. Nicole listens at the door as Dan sighs if only he could go to see Jen and asks Maggie to check on her. Maggie whispers she can see that he still loves Jennifer. Nicole’s face falls as she realizes that Jack is dead. Dan insists to Maggie that Abigail and Jen do have each other and they are close. Maggie gives him a dubious look. He should go see them. He claims he does not believe Jen needs his help. Besides, they are over. Maggie argues he can still let her know he is there for her. He protests and insists he does not want to be a part of her life. Maggie does not believe a word of it! Her phone rings. Tis Jen. Dan advises her to take it cos Jen needs her. Maggie quips she really needs HIM! Dan steps away. The redhead answers her phone, asking Jen how things are. Still in her room, Nicole feels sorry for the widow Jen but assures her baby that she cannot have Dan, for he is their future. She intends to pay the fair widow a visit, to remind her of how things are meant to be ... - Will and Marlena enjoy iced tea and he admits someone tried to talk to him today and he should have been cool about it. She asks if he was a friend. Will gushes he was and he sure hopes he still is! - At the coffee shop, working Sonny is greeted by a pal who is sorry about what happened to his Uncle Jack. He appreciates it. His pal realizes Sonny is upset and offers to listen. He need only fix them a couple of lattes, Sonny later stands with his friend, who teases he has some coffee on his lips and helps him wipe it off. Will opens the door and stops in his tracks upon seeing the scene. - Rafe is handcuffing Sami to the table. She is protesting loudly when the DiMera henchman leaps in with a gun. He and Rafe struggle as she watches helplessly. She screams at them to stop. The gun goes flying and lands near Sami on the floor. She tries to reach for it. Rafe gains the upper hand with his blows landed on the DiMera man. The thug grabs a knife and appears to stab him. Sami lets out a cry and covers her mouth with a hand ... - Ian presses the blade against perspiring EJ’s throat. Perhaps what he is about to do could be a favor to all the women who claim to love EJ for what is on the inside. He leers they will soon see what is inside there. Stefano is tense. EJ is gasping. Ian removes the knife and EJ gets mad. Why would he think his wellbeing would even matta to HIM! Ian laughs wickedly, calling it hilarious. His intention had been to take it all from Stefano, including his offspring. EJ bitterly rages he is not his son. Ian proceeds to enlighten him. The letter from Alice was not authentic. Furthermore, it is so easy to switch blood types, as he well knows. He now drops a bombshell. "You and Stefano are fatha and son, in spirit and in blood!" Stunned EJ stares at Stefano, who regards him from across the room, his tired eyes filled with remorse ... END |
