DAYS OF OUR LIVES Part 2 Friday, August 24, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! ABOUT LAST NIGHT - Part 2 - Sami hugs Johnny and Sydney, who are now frolicking about the apartment, and is sorry she was away from them. Johnny is curious about daddy. She promises everything will be fine and tickles them. - Now downstairs at the pub, Gabi tells Rafe she is relieved Mel was not hurt. Rafe is more concerned about her. Enter Will. Rafe becomes sarcastic. He is pleased to see he is not in the slammer like his mother! Will explains she is out. Rafe gets even more sarcastic about Will aiding and abetting. Will had not realized he too was a target of his wrath. Rafe decides the time has come to depart and takes his leave. Will and Gabi are clearly uncomfortable in each other’s presence. At the same time, they blurt out that what happened last night was a mistake. Pause. They now laugh in unison and sit at a table together. He thinks it was all his fault but is relieved she feels the same way. She agrees it was a mistake but it is not all his fault. He confesses he had hoped he did not lead her on. She confesses she had hoped the same. They find it all amusing. They were both messed up. Will is hoping they will be able to remain friends. She teases they will be friends with no benefits. He is all for it. Gabi is impressed he was gentleman enough to try and apologize. She adds it is so true what people say - that all the good ones are either taken or gay! Will grins. - At the house of Kiriakis, patriarch Victor is pacing. Maggie urges him to sit down. He does. She now asks Brady whether he has eaten or slept. Brady vows he intends to stay clean and sober, for Madison. Victor hugs him and repeats how sorry he is. Brady remarks Ian was arrested but that one deserves more than jail time. Victor snaps he should rot in hell. Maggie stands up too and suggests they focus entirely on Madison and their special time together. Brady is aware that just before dying, she said she loved him. It does give him some comfort. - At the coffee house, Lucas flips upon hearing from Kate that son of a bitch Stefano is alive. Billie, who is sitting beside her brother, wonders why mama Kate does not seem to be too happy about it. Kate shares that he left town and left Chad a note, which made it crystal clear that the phoenix considers her the past. Lucas thinks that is a good thing. Kate diverts her gaze. Billie implores her to think of the kind of man he is. Lucas snaps he bought Kate and wants her to remember that. They hope she will not go back to him. Kate concludes they believe if she does go back to Stefano, that would make her a HO! But she happens to love him! - Rafe is on the phone as he walks through the town square. He notes Sami made bail, EJ is in lockup, and he wants to be kept posted! He now looks down at Sami’s number and considers calling her. - At the apartment, Caroline and Sami are folding laundry. She is there to watch the kids so Sami can go and see Ally and Lucas. Sami seems to be hesitant about dealing with Lucas today. Caroline is miffed that all the lying and high drama are swirling around her again! Sami, however, insists there is no drama. Ring ring! She answers the phone, but alas Rafe has decided to hang up and there is no one there. - Victor walks Maggie to the door. She will go tend to Melanie, while he tends to Brady. She thanks the Greek tycoon, kisses him, and departs. He now returns to Brady and offers to have Ian meet with an accident in prison. Brady would rather not have him killed, for death would be too easy. He would rather he live with the painful knowledge that Madison's blood is on his hands. Sympathetic Victor wonders whether his grandson really is alright. Brady calmly assures him that he is not using. The Greek tycoon has grieved the loss of a loved one and understands what it feels like. Brady explains he is considering going east, to try and connect with her sisters and plan some sort of memorial. He laments this morning, he reached for her in bed but she was not there. He does not think he will ever stop doing it. Victor frowns. - Julie arrives at the hospital where nurse Mel is working and she is a Horton on a mission! - Gabi and Will walk out of the pretty pub together. They are both glad they talked. She has one question, though. She is curious whether he was rethinking things last night ... Will calmly explains he now knows for a fact that he is not straight or bi, he is completely gay. She pouts that being with her must have given him confirmation, then laughs she is kidding. They are good. - Kate stands up and proceeds to tell her kids what she wants and thinks. As God as her witness, she vows she WILL reconcile with Stefano! Kate now storms off and Billie muses all families seem to have their ups and downs. Theirs is no exception. - At the town square café, Rafe stands up with his coffee to answer a call on his phone. He has left his keys on the table. Elegant Sami arrives, picks them up, and turns around to find him standing before her. She smiles slightly and their eyes lock. - At the hospital, Maxine and Mel emerge as the young nurse accepts a double shift. Julie anxiously interrupts. She would like a word alone. Mel gets Maxine’s permission. Julie reminds her that Abigail is mourning her father and having her family around her at this time is so important. Her whole family. Mel pleasantly agrees. Julie is elated and assumes it means she will not stand in the way of Nick at his upcoming parole hearing. The girl suddenly looks ready to faint. This is evidently the first she has heard about Nick being up for parole ...! END |
